1. Hi All Every day now it seems we lose the only star players (ifs that what you call relegation players) that NCFC had. Links to other clubs, don''t want to play for NCFC anymore, Croft, Clingan, Hoolihan, Marshall. Like the animal we will be left with the bare bones, which won''t have much meat on them! But remember we''ll be fine, Gunn can bring in his own team of future stars! Oh well, time will tell. Cheers All
2. 5 to 6 months ago (when ever it was) when Gunn Got the job I thought, oh god here we go..... Now that we are down and out, players leaving, the good ones! what do we do when we need a manager that WILL show that this club means business! Like I said a PAUL INCE or similar, someone who would light the fans alight again!   Someone who when I saw his picture on the back of the PAPER, on the TV News and on the PINK-UN website would make me and others say ... "About bloody time, now we have a better chance of a good season and some attacking and tactics in our play." BUT NO!!! its cheapo NCFC again, once again the same old SH*T! Poor old Gunn, no idea how to attack, lob it up to Lee! and its 74mins, time for a sub! (sorry very angry at the moment!) Glad I didn''t renew this year with the season ticket, simply had enough, Got a Membership instead, just incase I want to see the old game ... then again I may have wasted my £15 as well?   Lets hope and pray I didn''t!!!! Cheers ALL   CITY TILL I DIE!!!
3. Paul Ince would be to Norwich, what Keane is to Ipswich! Thats IMO! club need to be bold and this type of appointment is what is now needed unless we want 4-5 years + stuck in League 1. Now is not the time to Stay with Yellow blood just because of the costs, cut costs else where but not the team and the manager AGAIN. Doing that brought us to where we are now. Cheers, all.   (Feel better now I''ve said my bit! Before we all see the board muck it up again!)
4. I''d like Ince but money talks! Please Not Gunny!!
5. Hi All Yes I''m like a lot of you ... pissed off. Saw it coming for ages, only to think that it may never happen and it has. Well we have to act fast now, and not muck about. 7 million+ less revenue next season in League 1 means too long it that league and we will be finished. WE MUST: 1. Sack the expensive board members such as Doncaster, 180k+ to be a chief exec at a football club. 4k a week! I wish. Not in league 1 matey! 2. Say goodbye and thanks to Gunn and co. Ian crook can stay on as reserve coach if he wishes, long way to come for 5 months! 3. WE need a new manager with the profile to get this club back in the public eye for the right reasons, we need to give the fans a silver lined cloud! We need a PAUL INCE. Ok I hear you all say, ''but he won''t come to Norwich!'' why not? MK dons, bigger than Norwich are they? 25k fans have they? Ok so Blackburn are Prem league but Paul Ince is the type of maanger who could get us promoted. He should have been given the job last time around. Time to pull out the purse strings and get the job done. No nearly men, Robins may have done well, but he''s not Paul Ince. Paul Ince to Norwich would be what Roy Keane is to Ipswich! Simple as that. Keeping with Gunn or getting Mark robins or giving Crook the job just because they have yellow blood is stupid! 4. Bring back the youngsters and build a wining team! A team that wants to play for city! Sack the dead wood! 5. If he wants to play for city, bring back Pattison, would be great at League 1 level, I thought he done a job in the Champ, Gunn didn''t, costly choice as we all know. I fear the other normal choices as before, yes names will go, board members will be forced out, but I fear a ex-Norwich manager, a midtable to 8th table finish and a lot of unhappy fans. Cheers All, City till I die (as they say) !!!
6.
I honestly think the man could do a job. He played the transfer market a lot better than Roeder (and he only had 9 days or so). "Im in constant contact with Darren Huckerby" - Surely i bonus, if any other manager came in, they might not want him. as he said, "I failed this mission" he did - but, i think if he is appointed we all get behind him, he''s still Gunny and he deserves our respect and support if appointed. Its taken me till this morning to finally get to grips with what has been going on, and this is my views - feel free to bitch about them.
No way, Sorry should not have got the job in the first place, yellow blood or not. We need a ''Paul Ince'' of the football world and NOW!
7.
the guy may have messed up, but we still needed him, leaving him out off the last how many games was a massive mistake, runs into the box , normally runs his socks off, plays any where across the midfeild,
spot on. I said this for months! Could have made a difference, but we will never know now will we!!! taxi for Gunn, hang on make that 2 mini buses for half the squad. Oh well they are all crap anyway! Cheers
8. Hi all   Big Day is Here! Anyway slights off thew the big game subject. LEE wants to stay at NCFC. I think we should  get him. I not going to ype for hours, as its a sunday and I can''t be bothered at 9.10am. Just to say that I think he''s proven hes a passion player even if he was a scummer. We need players that want to play for NCFC, regardless whether they like the area to live or not. GET HIM SIGNED UP NOW! Cheers all
9. The current article of "what ever happen to Norwich City" I have read the Liverpool fans post and this is very moving, but the history since Deehan below is just excellent. A total must read and a very sad reflection on the current situation of NCFC. I don''t think it will matter but lets hope an investoer reads it and helps ''our little old norwich'' I know theres a sticky post on the Liverpool article just thought I start another on the history part. Cheers All.
10. love the user name! lets hope we are league one wonders! and not league 1 dropouts!
11. Did I hear that he is on 180k for his troubles? If so, this figure is a joke.   Doesn''t an MP get around 45k a year? + second home expenses!   180k for what? cheers
12. no he only has one tatic ... run around like headless chickens then after 74 mins bring on a sub! we need a Paul Ince or similar, unfortunatly in Leagu 1 we will get nowt!
13. I hear that some people are thinking of for going the 15-20% refund if we go down.   As far as my season ticket goes, well its gone, only to be renewed at the last minute with a 50% reduction offer from the club. Thats all that League 1 is worth. Not 15% less! And as for the people willing to give city the 15% back, then they are still blinded by the whole NCFC family club, we all stick together Cr*p. Sorry, still very angry from this appauling season, and after the no show AGAIN against Reading. Wake up People! we may be in league 1 (thats the old third div!) Its a Peterborough v Ipswich Derby next year! Yes Peterbourgh! oh well, whatever !!! Cheers All
14. Forgot to mention! Matty Pattison! wher e the hell is he! Would have pushed forward tonight and shown more skill than somne of that Cr*P i WATCHED TONIGHT! IMO - if Matty Pat played for the last 10 games we may not be in this mess, may not. (one player doesn''t make a team) Cheers
15. Hi All Been to the game, been all season, been all the last 5 seasons. Not next year! Enough is enough! Reasons why we will go down: 1.   Gunn doesn''t have the experince and was a very big gamble and cheap option that NCFC should not have ever done.       Panic sacking of Roeder after Charltons poor turn out, and giving Gunn the job because of the yellow blood and a facebook campaign! 2.   Too many loan players, most of them rejects from there current teams, due to the fact that they just don''t make the grade, as shown in tonights game. 3.   74mins .... why do we always, yes nearly always.. make a sub on 74 mins, its too late then! 15mins to make a diference doen''s work. Its seems that I       shout for a sub every game and Gunn with his arms folded just stands there thinking "err what shall I do next, butterworth old mate what shall we do" "sub boss,       have a sub at 74mins!" "good idea butty" 4.   The lack of ambition form the board since the relegation from the Prem. Getting Grant in when a higher class maanger would have been better, replacing class sttrikers with       players of less quality, earnshaw for Ashton, Cureton for Earnshaw, etc etc... gradualaly destroying the sqaud until the core had gone. Just look at Ipswich!!! Roy Keane! Took       Sunderland from second bottom to champions in half a season! 5.   The board take us all for suckers and bleed the club dry, 8.5 million in players wages, reportly £180k Doncaster annual wage! In the end I have had enough, like many others, I watched us play with passion against Reading but we looked completely out of our depth. Not enough skill there. For me The Doc looked like a warrior, in defense, others though do they really care, they can return to there other clubs? Carny, Gow, Lee, Shackell, Bertrand, all will return and shackell might even play in the Prem again! For me its a big shame, but we must look at League 1 if it happens as a new start, Forest did, and Swansea etc .. We must try to oust this board of its control, Delia can stay in some kind of way but we must remove the control she and others have on the say of the club. We MUST get another management team!!! Paul ince has done it at this level and he would raise the  profile of the club again. He wants to prove to others that MK wasns''t a fluke! In the end, I''m City till I die, but like other I''m very angry and sad at the situation, yet quitely I know that this could just be the start of good things to come in the future. you never know! Cheers All
16. Hi all   Have not posted for a while. Been too fed up with it all to really give a damn any more.   Anyway, 2 games left 6 points and some favours needed from other sides, not looking good is it. After all the mess is said and done, who would you like incharge next season. Personally in League 1 or the Championship I would like PAUL INCE but unfortunatly I fear that Gunn and co are here to stay. Seems that he was given the job as a a cheap option that if it worked would make him and co an even bigger legend than he already is. Can''t see the board changing the cheap option in League 1, and why get Crooky from Aussy for 6 months? Anyway, I know this has been discussed before, but I feel that stay up or go down the Gunn and co issue will just be annoced in the early summer and noone will be surprised at all. Personally we need a Manager like PAUL INCE, something completly different, and new approach, none of the yellow blood crap! Any views? Cheers All
17. I know I know   Pattison is not in the sqaud, team, what ever. Butsurely people can see that today against Wednesday pattison woulod have done far better than Lappin or Croft in Midfield! We needed his passes and forward runs.   Sadlt i FEAR he will never play again.   Our Loss   :( Cheers All
18. Gunn is an idiot to leave this player out.   I fear he has played his last game for city, bar a totall injury crisis. Can''t even get in the team ahead of the youngsters and reserves. Either he groveles to Gunn & Co or asks for a transfer. Personally hes a good player, an something Gunn just can''t throw away. Hang in there Patty, Gunn may not be here next season! Yeah Right!   Cheers All
19.
Fully agree with you mate, excellent post. But do  you think that  Matty doesn''t play bcause he was brought by GR, or for some bad behaviour outside the pitch?
Not sure, he''s a good enough player for NCFC by a mile, yet he''s not even on the bench. Its ethier: 1. His attiude towards Gunn and the other management staff 2. They don''t like Patty, because of something hes done after being dropped or said. 3. He was a Glenn Roeder Signing which may have a reflection, perhaps Gunn feels NCFC have some more NCFC legends like Russel and Cureton rather than Patty? I don''t know? In the end of the day he should be at least on the bench to add that diff option to midfield. At the moment its just plain stupid. Cheers
20.

It amazes me,when he was playing people were calling him Roeders pet but now he''s not and he''s the best thing since sliced bread, much the same as Lappin, short memories some people.
Short memories - goal against the scum? Blistering left foot? And still only 22/23? No I think that you seem to forget he gets into the box and tries to add threat from midfield where as some of our other midfielders are either lucky to get anywhere near the box or seem to hit some sort of "wall" when they do. Plymouth was a good example of this with Gow and Mooney willing to play the channels we lacked other bodies getting in on the end of a ball into the box. We need the winger from the other side coming in and a late run / surge from a midfielder Lampard style. Instead we had one or two players at most. Had we had had someone with a little more of Pattisons thrust we may have scored more. Also don''t forget that he was one of the ever-present players in the 13 game unbeaten run.
At Last some (more than two) people who agree with me regarding Pattison, WHY WHY WHY is he being shown the door? NCFC have no money, they have too many loan players, we can''t buy quality so why push a Championship/Fringe Prem Player out the door? Its Just F**King Crazy!!!!! Oh well, theres nothing I can do! Perhaps someone at the club may read this and realise that Pattison is an assett not a liabilty. I just hope Pattisons downfall is not down to himself with an attitude. Cheers for the replies, good to read.
21.
maybe gunn realises he was one of roeders blunders..
This sort of quote makes me so angry! Why is he a blunder? He was discribed as a Hucks replacement in his first game, was a sensation during his loan period. Ok his form dropped a bit after he was signed, but at this level he makes a great addition to the NCFC squad. I''ve seen this all before with Andy Hughes, shows passio for the club and is booted into touch never to be seen again. Skill helps but a lions heart and passion (like Croft) can go a long way. If only Etuhu, D Francis, and others had this passion, it may have been so different. Cheers for the reply
22. Its no Secret that I have posted a lot about the disapearance of this player. Why was he left out, why has he been snubbed, much like Lappin, its all a bit stupid and something NCFC with its small squad can not afford to have as part of their squad policy. (speak out, and your out mate?) The Pattison argument for me is just plain stupid, an Ex-prem player all be it fringe player who scores 3 in 4 games, shows his forward movement well and scores against the scum can''t get on the bench let alone the team. I recently had a tour of the ground, and visited the home changing rooms where I saw that Pattisons Shirt wasn''t even hanging up on the wall, I just stood there and shook my head in disbelief still. ANYWAY ... I can here Gunn now in the back room with Crooky and Butterworth, "Give Pattison a ring we need him now, cancel that loan deal, with RUSTY and HOOLIHAN out we have no midfield left" Perhaps BOTH the Norwich Gunn rejects might start aganist the Brum? Who knows? Went both home games, thought we played well, still room for improvment but far better than the Coventry and Blacpool afairs! I just hope that if Pattison does play for City again, he does''nt show me and NCFC up with a cr*p display. I hope he has a blinder! Cheers All
23. This is so wrong, he should be in our squad, even coming on as a sub would help the team.   IF we go down, and we lose Patty then we are mugs. I don''t care if people think he''s slow, fat, whatever, when he played he mostly played with flair and passion and scored 3 in 4 games. As I have said before, if Crook/Butterworth or Gunn have fell out with Patty then its NCFC loss. Newcastle thought he was good enough to take him on in the first place, yet little old Norwich think hes not worth the effort. Stupid, just plain Stupid!!! Cheers All
24. Very sad, but true. I''m not renewing this year. Many reasons, but still sad.   Thanks for your post, was sad but good to read.   Cheers
