1. Bit of a weird line-up, but only time will tell, I guess there needs to be some rotation, but 5 players?
2. c''mon, get in, swivel on that Fulham.
3. Hope Drury does OK, bit little bit worried about his match fitness. Also, I assume Martin is back at right back and De laet centre back.
4. hope we can see this one out now, I feel more nervous at 3-1 than I was at 2-1, not sure why! oh, red card too, that might help.
5. does anyone know if you can buy the NY Canaries t-shirt in the pub?
6. I''m also off but will be there for the Wolves game on the 20th. My first trip to NY, should be fun.
7. This is a terribly sad story and if it possible for any positives to come out of it, then I hope that it raises awareness of such a psychiatric disorder such as depression. I think lot''s of us are shocked at how this guy seemed so at ease and had a life that most of us would love, yet obviously something was clearly not right, he didn''t seem to show the standard symptoms of depression. It is difficult to comprehend really, quite an eye opener. He seemed like a decent bloke with very few enemies, a real shame and a real shock.
8. Bolton''s is rubbish. I am a bit biased but I have always liked ours, you can see it a mile off and It takes me back to my childhood days when we all used swap the football stickers - getting the lovely shiny Norwich badge was the best feeling ever.
9. a nice gesture from the ref, a little common sense to be honest. Sad story, shame Donny didn''t go on to win.
10.
An album I have just found has totally blown me away. Not many people would be brave enough to take on ''Dark Side Of The Moon'', but the Easy Star All Stars have done a Dub version of it called ''Dubber Side Of The Moon''. It''s sensational. Here''s a live track from the album. Really worth checking out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQT0UfWWghA
Always considered buying this, they also did a version of Radiohead''s OK Computer.
11.
Nice one Peter. I''m running it next year as well, for Diabetes UK. You look like you''re a lot more organised than me though, I haveen''t even thought about starting the fundraising yet!
that''s who I ran for, I wouldn''t bother with the pasta party to be honest! but I do have one important tip, if you do fancy a nice big pasta meal for your tea make sure you book a place at a restaurant. I was a bit foolish and just thought i''d turn up and get a table, I was wrong! in the end I got lucky, but the choice was get a a table at about 10pm, or get a curry! You do get a big cheer from the diabetes cheering point just after Tower bridge and Houses of Parliament. Good luck and enjoy.
12. LC, sounds like fun (and hard work), maybe one day i''ll give it a go. I think i''d like gps, especially at night for Scafell, the paths are not always very clear in the Lakes and it easy to get lost. Not sure when I will be able to have a go at such a challenge, it will be like the Lands End to John O''Groats bike ride, it''s been on my to-do list for many years and I''m nowhere nearer trying it now than I was 20 years ago!
13. I bet it is LC, I know how dangerous it can be walking in the Lakes when the weather is bad, so walking at night might be a tough proposition. Due to getting lost in the clouds last year around Bowfell (it was pretty scary actually) I bought myself a gps sat nav, did you use one? where do you start the walk from?
14. I think Virgin do a free donation website, I used it in 2010 when I ran my one and only marathon. I wasn''t lucky this year and got my rejection letter last week, probably for the best since I am due to be a dad in March so it might not have been the best idea! good luck anyway.I haven''t done the 3 peaks, sounds like fun, I did get within a mile of Skafell Pike this time last week mind.
15. the only one I have seen is Submarine, so that it my favourite, but it was good mind!
16. Blimey, I must be the only fan of Elbow here then. I can listen to them all day long, in fact when I go running I often just put their 5 albums on in rotation. They write songs about simple things with lots of meaning, they put a smile on my face and musically they have a sound unique to themselves, but not everybodys cup of tea obviously! I have Zappa''s Hot Rats too, great album but can''t really get much of his stuff, they love him in places like Hungary, in fact I spent a night at a Frank Zappa themed cafe in Budapest once, it was pretty cool. So who don''t I get......... mmm, not sure, i''ll give it some thought. If I can pick solo artists it will be easier.
17. OK it''s gutting, but he has at least admitted his mistake, refs are only human. Eventually we''ll get rewarded a soft penalty or two.
18. he glanced to his left before rising and swinging his elbow, no doubt in my mind he knew what he was doing. The beauty of HD tv!
19. why do managers pretend things like that are fine? there is no place for that sort of thing in football, I hope he gets a retrospective punishment for it. Otherwise, what goes around comes around and I hope he gets his teeth knocked out face.
20. I thought the lad looked OK, but he needs these types of games to increase his experience. He was in no way at fault for the goal.
21. I actually though De Laet was OK after the initial bad error. Let''s not be too hasty, we were as good as West Brom and really should have got a point. Not sure why people are creaming over Hoolahan so much, he is a decent player but he''s not as good as some people are making out. I thought Crofts should have been subbed, he looked a little tired, maybe replaced by Fox. But we all have opinions.
22. no need to slit your wrists quite yet! we competed quite well. yes we need points but they''ll come. We have not had too much luck, today we should have had a penalty and therefore a draw at worst. But we do need to stop the stupid mistakes.
