1. You people are just sooooo not funny![:P]
2. Well, it''s a long trek out of Norwich and an equally long one home again. That''s all - an American werewolf beckons...
3.

They could spell it out in stones so it could be read from the air?
There are no stones on the types of beaches they go to....apart from Mick Jagger, Keith Richards type.
So they''re not down Hemsby? We''re paying these ''players'' too much.
4. Nah - I''m just guessing like the rest of you.
5. Is this the point where I can ask about Pringles dipped in Nutella again?[;)]
6. Annoying that, isn''t it Lapp?[8-|]
7.
Seriously, when I was a teenager I wanted to become a greaser (English version of an Hells Angel for younger viewers) and part of the inauguration process was to bite off a live chickens head. I purchased a scooter and became a mod.
See, I knew if I hung around here long enough you''d talk sense eventually![;)]
8. They could spell it out in stones so it could be read from the air?
9.
I prefer paxo over aspirin.
Fair enough - the aspirin is more of a seasoning I suppose.
10. Don''t get in a tizz about the egg thing. So long as you keep them in the fridge at a decently low temperature they''ll be ok for omelettes for about 10 days after the stupid date stamp. You do keep them in the fridge, don''t you?
11. Wish I could take the credit for the line but it''s a Seinfeld classic I''m afraid.Goes with the old ''manager changes, owners change, players change but the fans are the only constant'' adage that crosses the divides of all spectator sports.I know where you''re coming from re Gill though. We need a team we can call ''ours'' through thick and thin, otherwise we''re just... (you know the rest!)
12. But but but...Can we have some consistency on here please?Wizard and WAY49 both stated a couple of weeks ago that Foulger had only just been able to get this money together - they even PM''d people about it. If true surely that explains why the cash wasn''t forthcoming last summer or even last January.
13. Exactly - 9 goals in 46 games picking up 3 yellows and 1 red. What is the problem here? Some people were citing worse stats than that as reason for recalling (which was never an option) Spillane and the King of Beccles from that division! And tell me which of our midfielders have a one in five goal to game ratio?
14. I think you''ll find the press conference started a little late (they usually do) and whilst waiting he was in the corner office at Colney checking out what the Exeter fans were saying about him.[;)]
15. Well I hope he does make some of you hang your heads in shame. The guy obviously does read messageboards as this post he''s just made on that Grecians site demonstrates:Thanks guys, I have had some great years here at Exeter but i felt it was time to move on and i chose Norwich. Thank you i will always remember. See you next year hopefully This post is genuine Gilly If he reads this one I hope he can overlook one or two posters who have never seen him play but are just jumping on his signing as something else to bash the Club with.Looking forward to seeing him in yellow and green.
16.

It''s not disappointing at all.Matt Gill is a player I''d have advocated looking at even if we were still in the dizzy heights of the CCC. He''s a solid, passing midfielder who was the backbone of a team with a winning mentality (something we could do with around here!) under Tisdale, possibly the best manager outside the PL.I''m delighted he wanted to come home once his contract was up and look forward to seeing what effect he can have.Good signing.
Wow!! something that LQ says that I agree with.[;)]
Phew![;)]

18. Also worth remembering is that any player who is ''free'' or who has a get-out clause in his contract meaning he apparently leaves for very little (Hoolahan for example) will demand a signing on fee that''s comparable to what his worth is deemed to be.Just like lunches, there''s no such thing as a free footballer!
19. Jeez, 9 and a half stone - alright???I think I''m right in saying that only one of the previous Apprentice winners still works for Suralun. In fact only that one managed to last the whole year. It was amusing hearing what Yasmina''s job was going to be last night - she didn''t look too chuffed!
