  1. I''ve left the troll alone thus far, but he doesn''t seem too unreasonable so Im going to throw in my 2 cents. For starters - yes we only took 810 away last night, and you may well average quadruple that away from home - so do we, but for a 510 mile round journey on a Weds night for a Sky game I think that''s ok - some people do work you know! I doubt you even brought that many to Carrow Road for the reverse weeknight televised game, although I can''t find the official figure. You''re not a big club, whatever you may think, neither are we, despite some of our more delusional fans (and yes there is an element who thinks we are bigger than we are). We are both medium sized clubs, as pointed out by others, we would match your attendance if we had the capacity, but we don''t. You were far superior in every respect last night, much like we tore you apart at Carrow Road. On the basis of the first game I could easily have said that none of the Sunderland team would make our squad, but I''m a little more intelligent than that, and realise that after watching one game all season, it''s hardly a sound basis for judgment. I would say probably 3 or 4 of our team would comfortably get in your squad and a few more borderline. After an unbeaten January, holding Chelsea to a draw and decent away form, it was hardly "arrogant" of us to think we could get something from the game. Some fans were arrogant and assumed we would get soemthing, but don''t tar us all with the same brush, most of us were realistic and thought that a point would be a great result with the form your boys are in. It is arrogant of you to think you would turn us over, yes you did, but you have no right to expect to considering our achievements under Lambert. I have nothing against Sunderland, and I''ve always had a soft spot for O''Neill but I think that you have ideals about your club which simply don''t ring true, you are not a big club with an illustrious history, you won everything in prehistoric times in footballing history and you are a medium club forever in the shadow of your Tyneside neighbours.
  2. I''ve never been his biggest fan, but I''m increasinlgy getting more steadfast in my view he is just too bloody lightweight. The amount of pressure he caused us to come under tonight and repeatedly in last few months because he gives the ball away needlessly is unreal. Liability.
  3. Yep, agree with all points. Crofts is decent Champs but that''s his level. We really missed Fox tonight. Cant understand why Lambert didn''t bring him on. Doubt Vaughan will be fit for Sat, but I''d like to see Jackson start again. He''s been doing well recently - again, surprised we didn''t see him tonight.
  4. Agree, think him coming back should give us a real boost. Naughton looked very uncomfortable on the left tonight.
  5. Quite right star. I live in Derby but no chance am I venturing out in the freezing cold to the pub when I can just stick it on the box and enjoy the peace of the missus being out!
  6. I''d guess Walkabout and the Friary will have the game on, probably the Wardwick on Friargate too.
  7. No humble pie neccessary - if you cast enough lines you''re bound to catch a fish...
  8. Not according to McNally: Duncan Castles @DuncanCastles · Details Norwich City have failed to agree a fee with Tottenham to make Kyle Naughton''s loan deal a full transfer. #NCFC #THFC david mcnally @davidmcnally62 @DuncanCastles Duncan, we didnt attempt to agree one. Season long loan.
  9. I was hoping no-one would notice this idiosyncrasy. I probably should have said I had it but I just never used it so erased my account. I don''t see the point of it, still, but obviously this is one situ when it would be useful!
  10. Cheers. I''ll keep an eye to see if he replies.
  11. ask Mcnally whether it''s worth keeping an eye on the deadline deals. I know he isn''t going to tell us explicitly if there will be a signing, or who we''re in for (if anyone) but it would be nice to know if there are irons in the fire or I can turn SSN off! I''d do it myself, but I don''t use Twitter, don''t see the point of it.
  12. If Barry Fry is in a helicopter then somebody better inform the emergency services pretty quickly - no chance that is staying airborne for long!
  13. BW Serious question, are you actually a bit mental or are you a 12 year old with no friends? I refuse to accept you could be anything other than one of the above. No-one cares about your nonsensical drivel so do everyone a favour and stfu. It''s well documented you''re full of $hit.
  14. You''re right for once BW... we all expected one day of your boring drivel, none of us expected 3 weeks of it.
  15. H4H - that doesnt fit with the tune at all!! Haha, nice try though - the Thank you very much one was good but as stated above, pointless unless we were playing Leeds.
  16. Houston, I think you have your yellow tinted specs on - we lost to them at Carra Rud mate! Didn''t deserve it, with their boring crap long ball, but we lost all the same! My two cents, for what its worth is GO FOR IT. I have never had the chance/cause to go to Wembley, and I am desperate to watch the mighty yellows in a major cup final! As others have said, we might as well go for it, no reason we can''t win it! I''d love to see us playing European football again too, I will never forget that heady day aged 7, standing in the South stand celebrating as the German Champions left the pitch with their tails between their legs, memories like those bring a tear to the eye! I''ve never been a big fan of the FA cup but we have a real chance this year, and I don''t see a cup run affecting our league form - Lambo wouldn''t let it. If it did then I''m sure we''d see the youth team get knocked out in the next round should we beat WBA on Saturday! Im really looking forward to the trip to the Hawthornes (for the 2nd time in 2 weeks) even if their beer is bloody expensive!
  17. I''m going with 3 mates (2 Norwich fans, and one Forest supporter who will be receiving a song sheet pre game :D ). Looking forward to it, hope we take a decent following.
  18. I believe this the first time myself and JG have ever agreed on anything! :D
  19. BW - Wiz has done what he consistently does, take 2+2 and make 54765688493003.0009857 to the power of 234353. As an avid propagator of BS yourself, your empathy is understandable but entirely misguided.
  20. Agree with above comments, thought Pilks was superb, the whole defensive unit played really well, Whitbread was probably MOTM for me, but only a cigarette paper between him and Ruddy - both were absolutely outstanding - thought Holt had a great game too and Moro played pretty well. Can''t fault the team at all, every player played their hearts out and first clean sheet of the season!! Brilliant. Well done lads.
  21. Right, no inside info or any BS like that, just my opinion. Based on the vague inferences on here about not being a household name etc. The one name that immediately jumped out at me was Jakub Blaszczykowski of Dortmund. Looking for a loan to get some football before the Euros, good level of English, Captains the Polish national side, can play RW in 4-2-3-1 (or 4-4-1-1 if thats what you prefer to call it) or can play up front in a 442. Quick as lightning (hasn''t lost the yard, even aged 32) and a superb finisher with a real creative spark. I know that with Howson incoming then we''re probably looking for a defender but if we were to go for another attacking player then he more than fits the bill, and fits with this post although Im well aware the OP could have made it all up. Pure guesswork from me, but if this were true then I would be incredibly excited - think a right-sided Huckerby and you''re not far off the mark. He''s known as "Kuba" for short so that''s how the commentators refer to him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtgiLqRYnu4&feature=related
  22. BW - you''re not even very good at trolling, just give it up.
  23. Not waiting for his flight back to Norwich like u said either tho is he?
