  1. LAMBERT OUT. SACK THE BOARD. WE SHOULD''VE BITTEN RANGERS HAND OFF AT 500K FOR HOLT, HE''S NOT EVEN WORTH A FIVER ETC ETC.

Seriously though, we never deserved to lose either of the manyoo games. We may have been doubled by the CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND and there''s no shame in that, even less shame considering how brilliantly we played in both games.

  2. Gutted to lose it after we levelled so late on - we didn''t deserve that. What a strike from Holty too!

The lads gave it everything today, and the Champions of england struggled and scrapped a win they didn''t deserve against us for the 2nd time this season.

United reffing gave them a free pass on Evra''s blatant handball too.

C''est la vie, we got beaten by a team that cost hundreds of millions, and they were lucky to get the win. Another day and Pilks scores in the first half, Scholes loops his goal wide and it''s a different story. We were brilliant today, credit to the lads.

  3. Fantastic performance. I never expected to get anything out of this one (although always thought we had a shot) and as they go in for HT I''m disappointed to be losing it. Fantastic performance all round, we''re dominating the Champions.

I don''t care what the result is, we have acquitted ourselves brilliantly first half, and if we do that again 2nd I would be furious with any complaints.

I''m no stranger to criticising the players if they don''t give it 100% but I don''t think you could level that at any of them today, they''re running through brick walls. Pilks and Holty unlucky, what are the odds that the one decent game De Gea has is against us. Sod''s law. Come on City, more of the same please!

  4. and YellowLittle1 - I see where you''re coming from re: young players, but goign to a World Cup at 17 didn''t exactly stunt Pele''s development did it? How about 16 International debut for Maradona? Didn''t seem to inhibit his development either. I know those 2 are extremes of talent so how about a 17 year old Michael Owen at the World Cup? Didnt bother him neither.

It''s a fabricated argument to shield the fact that England''s youth aren''t actually as good as they are hyped up to be.

  5. I find this whole squad hilarious. Pearce is proving himself to be clueless already. Leave out OX-C as he hasn''t played enough games, but include Frazier Campbell who has played 4 after an 18month lay-off.... Yep, definitely not just because he''s your old mate from the under-21s is it Pearcey? His excuse doesn''t even make sense.

I don''t think a more uninspiring squad was possible - he does realise he has 4/5 strikers in exactly the same mould doesn''t he?

    What a joke.

  6. I''m firmly in the camp that believe HOF should be about club legends and great achievements, we seem to throw anyone we feel like in there, if they''ve played for Norwich then their entry is validated and in they go.

Lambo, Holt and Hooly I''m just about in favour of, I''m always loathe to admit current players/staff to HOF but I think with our achievements in the last few seasons, they have earnt it.

I don''t know who the hell voted for Ashton but he wouldn''t have been anywhere close to my top 5. Yes he scored some important goals but as others have alluded to, he was here less than 12 months and was present for a relegation, and that''s it, he jumped ship.

Ekoku I''m pleased with, as he got our first ever European goal and that is a huge landmark.

I can''t believe Mark Robins is still not in the HOF. He was one of the most important components in the team that got us to 3rd, and I''m stunned to see, that not only is he one of the few of that team (possibly the only one now) and even more shocked to see people voting for Dean Ashton over someone far more deserving in my book.

also disappointed Roy Waller didn''t make it in there, yes I know he has his little piece of the stadium but I thought it would be a nice gesture to put him in the HOF too, he is surely as deserving as anyone.

  7. For a start, smokebomb, if you genuinely believe that we were playing at more than 20/30% of our potential then you are delusional. Take the Swansea game for example, the performance yesterday wasn''t even in the same ball park. Or do you think Leicester are a better team than Swansea and that''s why our performance level wasn''t even close? If you honestly believe that was us at more than 50% of our potential then why the hell aren''t we bottom of the Prem on single figure points tally? That''s where we''d be if we played every game the way we did yesterday. The fact you think I started the moron bit, shows your intellect as you are clearly not capable of reading a simply worded thread title properly.

This is babyish: You didn''t mean to insult anyone but entitled your thread with "moron" and then called me a moron for pointing out how pointless the thread was and having a different opinion.

You clearly lack the power of analysis to notice that people were complaining about the performance, not the result. Guess what? I''m not one of those fans who jumped on the bandwagon either, I have followed City all over the country in every division, through every season of the last 20 years (since I was 4). In your response to another post you state he is probably one of the very few who hold a negative opinion of yesterday who actually followed us up and down the country in league one? THAT DOESN''T EVEN MAKE SENSE. We sold out every away game in league one near enough, and you think the majority of those are happy with yesterday''s performance because of where we are in the league, it''s just the bandwagon jumpers who are unhappy? Does that even sound plausible to you? Really? Everyone is pleased with where we are in the Prem, but it has NOTHING to do with yesterday''s performance.

As Lambert always says in defeat "the lads have done everything for me so I can''t complain" - Well yeah, obviously, he''s hardly going to say they couldn''t be bothered, X is a lazy tw@t etc is he? If you had the first clue about management then you would realise that is a stupid comment. what Lambert says publicly is very different to what he says behind the scenes, I''m surprised anyone would lack the cognitive ability to work that out. It also disproves your point because I don''t think one person who watched the game yesterday would argue the players gave it everything.

Why are you not entitled to give your opinion if you pay £25 for a ticket. If I went to a concert, and the singer/band couldn''t be bothered and half-assed it like we did yesterday I''d complain and think I was well within my rights to do so. What is so special about footballers that they can''t be criticised, you sound about 12 with an idol worship complex.

My existence isn''t sad, thanks for your concern, however if I were looking to muppets like you for enlightenment then I''d be in a much worse state than "sad".

An extremely talented actor? I just IMDB''d him and shockingly he has had absolutely no success whatsoever except with that moronic character. Hardly Oscar candidate when he has never achieved anything noteworthy whatsoever.

In conclusion, yeah there were a few posts yesterday which were OTT, but the majority were people who were angry after watching our team known for work ethic, and fight, just roll over and die to a poor, mid-table Champs, injury hit Leicester team and to call anyone a moron for being pi$$ed at that reveals that you lack the analytical capacity to seperate performance from result, cup from league, bandwagon fans and loyal ones who are annoyed etc - basically I don''t think you''re very bright, and it looks like the majority of posts here support that, including your own.

  8. Wow, what a brilliant and insightful post. Really, thank you for contributing this, I really feel that it has been beneficial to my personal development to hear your well thought out arguments.

8th is a brilliant achievement, not a single person on here disputes that, but the performance today was a shocker and if we had been playing to even 50% of our potential, we''d have won comfortably. People have every right to complain about the result when it was down to a bad performance and several players looking like they weren''t giving it 100%. On top of this, several key players were rested despite us not having a league game for 8days.

I''m not going to bother elaborating further as you are either a child, a troll, or just simply a moron (It could be any of them, but your avatar is a picture of one of the most moronic "comedians" around so I know where my money is).

  9. I''ve said it on many occasions this season. Morison doesnt work for the team and his attitude sucks. Yes, he''s scored some important goals but he offers very little else to the team. No way in hell does Holt let St Ledger win that header for one nil, moro didn''t even go for it, just let St Ledger have at it. Awful. He is the one player at this club I really dislike at the moment. I don''t mind if a player is crap, as long as they will run through brick walls for the team, Morison wouldnt run through a Walls Vienetta.

  10. We let in two soft goals and aside from that you rarely troubled our goal except from corners. We only got 26000 because that is our capcity after segregation netting etc is in place, it was a sell out you moron. We got bigger crowds than u last season, and the season before when we were in league one and you were in Champs. We have sold out every home game for 3 years (at least) and yet you only fill 2/3 of your soulless 32,000 bowl, which we could fill every week if we had the capacity. "WE have a bigger ground in a bigger city" - yes you do, so why can''t you fill it you muppet?

I''m not saying we are a bigger club, because in fact I actually think we''re pretty similar medium sized clubs, however to state that you''re a big club because you pay old has beens more money in the champs than our young, up n coming talent in the prem is ridiculous. That doesn''t make you a big club, it makes you mugs.

you won''t find many fans on here who agreed with the local authorities decision to restrict your tickets, but maybe if your lot hadn''t kicked off a few years ago in Leicester, you wouldn''t have had this problem.

Darius Vassell is crap, as he proved when we beat you at the Walkers last season.

In what way is Pearson similar to Lambert? What a stupid comment.

Let''s face facts, you beat us fair and square, although neither team turned up and it could easily have gone the other way; but you say if you hadnt had so many injuries blah blah blah, if our first choice 11 played your first choice 11 and both teams played as well as they can who would win? My money is on us, pretty damn comfortably.

  11. Take nothing away from Leicester, we just didn''t turn up today and they did, and they wanted it more than us.

However to say we''re making too much of our missing players is a bit much. Yes some were rested rather than injured, but we were without Holt, our leading goalscorer, captain and talisman, our entire first choice back four was out - 3 injured, one rested and our keeper was a 19 year old making his second appearance.

We had 21 shots vs 14. In my opinion, Holt is on the pitch, we won the game today. He was a big miss and a mistake from Lambert not to have him on the bench at least.

  12. That''s fair enough mate, I get your point re the ad bombardment, but I just installed the "ad blocker" add-on for Google Chrome (I understand it''s also available for firefox, dunno about IE) - I think as long as you stick to the tried and tested sites and u have a half decent antivirus (I have Avast, it''s free and great) then it''s pretty safe. To be honest, these days even a trojan virus isn''t a trip to the repair shop, I got one (not from streaming, but watching movies) and googled my way out of it within about 6 hours (although it was bloody hassle tbf, the virus opened my web browser every 15 seconds with a new webpage, I ended up with about 250 tabs open at one point!) and Im certainly not a computer expert, although I would say I''m fairly savvy.

But anyway, after that mountain of digression, I get your point :)
