  1. It would have been up yesterday or today if that was the case mate (I think, that''s about the time before Boro that we got their returned allocation on the website). Better off ringing the ticket office every day and hoping they have some home returns. Can''t see there being many but there will always be one or two (more if the Rotherham game doesn''t go to plan and the Fulham game is a dead rubber with no chance of auto-promotion I suspect)

  2. I''ve always stoically advocated that technology doesn''t need to be in football, but I''ve recently changed my perspective. There is no romance of the game, and equals itself out over a season anymore, the rise in diving and cheating has ended all that.

I think the sooner we do have technology in football, the better. All goals reviewed as a matter of course, referee can call a replay review of any other incident anytime he needs to (although with guidance on moderating this to major incidents where red cards may be applicable, and incidents in and around the box).

It''s an american style system (NFL/NBA) but it works. Sure, games may take 5 minutes longer to finish, but I''d rather have a fair game that''s paused a couple of times for 2mins to let the ref check something out if he''s not sure, than continually get shafted and lose to refs who have missed/got it wrong on key incidents.

Ref''s need to get respect back, and they can''t do that when they cock up consistently. Watch a game from the Turkish league, the minute a player opens his mouth to the ref, the yellow card comes flying out. As a result, there is none of this crowding round the ref malarkey, players just get on with it.

Diving and attempts to con the ref should be instant red cards and 2 game ban (although the ref should have to review it on replay before making a decision) and if the ref gets it wrong, then they should be demoted and it should be retrospectively punishable with a 2 game ban. Put all of those in, and that would soon sort the game out for the better.

  3. That was clearly stated as the process - the club says on the website that they will contact those who have applied and are next in line for returns, and no returned tickets will be available to anyone phoning up speculatively. Essentially they turned the application process into a waiting list and will work their way through it as and when tickets are returned so phoning up won''t get anyone anywhere.

  4. This kid is a fooking moron. I think we''re all wasting our time. Came on here to gloat, and can''t accept criticism of his beloved Boro, and can''t even admit the most obvious of points.

The keeper faked it, it was clear to anyone with half a brain cell. With or without the conversation/instruction, he was still obviously faking it, and to say anything contrary to that just proves you''re a fooking idiot with a single digit IQ.

Same as claiming Ayala was "getting himself together" or whatever nonsense you claim.

For someone who doesn''t think that timewasting and faking injuries are underhand tactics/cheating, you spend an awful lot of time trying to pretend your players weren''t guilty of it.

Now pi$$ off back to your grim northern shanty town and join that enormous dole queue.

  5. Surely you''re not stupid enough to believe that Francis?

Message given to sub by coach, sub passes to GK, keeper immediately hits the deck with no-one around him for no apparent reason whatsoever and stays there.

The FA won''t haul them up on a charge because the FA don''t do that. Can you name a single incident that is remotely similar where the FA have intervened afterwards? You''re being silly and trying to excuse your underhand tactics.

  6. Whittaker is pretty good going forward to give him his due, but defensively he''s just not got it.

He can''t defend set pieces and is caught out of position far too often. When he is in position, people ghost past him regularly.

The goal against Boro, was his man.

The goal against Bolton was him getting turned because he made a terribly weak and ill-advised effort at a tackle. He also made a woeful effort at a pass to RM which put the Bolton striker clean through on goal in the first half.

First goal against Huddersfield he got caught ball-watching and out of position. Second goal against Huddersfield started with him having their player pinned in the corner, and he was somehow given the slip and allowed the ball to come in.

Millwall''s consolation goal he has the player pinned to the touchline and gets turned inside out, made to look very silly resulting in a burst into the box and a penalty.

Almost every goal we concede seems to come from his inadequacies defensively. That''s not unfair scapegoating, that''s just reality. All the highlights are on the Youtube channel, take a look and see if I''m wrong.

As I said, he is pretty good going forward, and no doubt he has improved massively since AN came in, but he was truly awful first half of the season, and he is the weakest link in that defence which is why he consistently gets exploited and almost every goal we concede comes from his side.
