  3. Not a real sport.

The only other game where you get large groups of men standing around in a field for hours on end, in the hope something interesting might happen is dogging.

If dogging isn't a sport, then neither is cricket.

  4. All the details are already up on the official site - the press conference was at 1. This is just the video, but there is a rundown of everything included in it on the website.

Essentially, Daniel happy to be here, turned down offers from elsewhere to stay. Webber says we have quite a bit more business to do but not rushing down out list of targets and we are playing the waiting game on some - last time, we apparently gave up on our top targets too quickly and rushed down the list to end up getting our bottom ones.

Unfortunately the Lotus logo on mine is clearly too far to one side, and I saw someone else comment about this on Twitter.

The rubber J logo is glued on, but not all the way to the edges, so I'm not sure how long that will stay on - a bit like when they used a rubber crest a couple of seasons back and some peeled off. Why not just stitch it?

Other than that, I prefer the cut to last season's, which was like wearing a tent! I'm a fan of the overall design, too.

Do agree with the comment about the cut - it does fit nicely.

Just been to Jarrolds to check it out. Design looks ok but the sleeves are so big. Quality is low but not as bad as I thought it would be. JD sticker ruins everything. Haven't bought yet.

I bought one online and I Agree with much of this. Quality is significantly worse than Errea. Design actually looks really good and the colour palette is a bit different, but I like it. JD sticker is hideous.

Disagree on the sleeves, they're fine on my kit (short sleeve obv, long sleeve is hideous). Maybe you just need to get in the gym CP? 😉

If this kit was made by Errea it would be a belter, but the Joma quality lets it down. I probably won't buy another Joma kit unless the design is exceptional as it doesn't look like it will last to me.

And besides, I don't hate this kit. If anything I just don't think it's good. I don't think it's awful, or poor..

Well that's one of the most awful looking kits in a while. Logo s a sticker, and the arms look utterly dreadful.

Oh thank god I'm not alone. How we have gone from last years  kt, one of the best home kits in a deacade to this monstrosity is beyond me

Last year's kit was awful. Plain, boring and just a bit bland. Not all of us are entirely beige Cambridge, some of us like things with a bit of personality and spark.

GBNews gives a balanced view of the news. I watched the BBC the other day and they spent a good 10mins about how black woman are treated different whilst giving birth ! This is on the same day that it was announced that lower class white boys were not supported after school, not a mention on the BBC.

    Balanced view 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Jesus ****ing christ.

Does fox news give a "Balanced view"?!

Goebbels gave about the same level of balance as GBNews does.

  10. Sounds like a quality morning there TGS, and totally agree with King on the restrictions point. I tend to go quite late at night due to family and work commitments so there's nobody there anyway (my gym is 24/7) but on the few occasions I do get in earlier, the slots etc is useful.

Had two days off so I'm looking to hit it hard tonight!

Haven't weighed  myself yet so not sure if I've lost anything but can see my body shape changing in the mirror so not too worried about what the scales say.

  11. Cant believe any self-respecting city fan can laud Brian Clough after what he did to Justin Fashanu. Singlehandedly destroyed his career due to his vile bigotry.

I respect his achievements as a coach, but he was a horrible ****. Not bothered that it was a different time/era, still a horrible ****.

  12. I'm absolutely delighted with this. Angus was outstanding for a rubbish team in Farke's first year. I'm not bothered that it didn't work out at so'ton, I'm comfortable he has the ability to succeed. Plenty of players don't work out at plenty of clubs but are successful elsewhere. Just look at Holty.

If there is anywhere Angus will be a success, its at Norwich City. Back up keeper has been a long term issue for us, so getting Gunn in to fill the role and potentially take over in a year or two when Krul retires is ideal really.

    Really pleased.

  13. So between lockdowns and having a (second) baby, it's taken me from last August until now until now to get my backside into gear. Fortunately, I've been playing football twice a week most of that period (pending lockdowns obv) and being vaguely careful about what I eat, which helped me avoid piling it back on.

Did put half a stone back on at one point but caught myself pretty quickly and lost a few lbs back off it.

Weighed in last week and was 4.5 lbs heavier than the lightest I got to last year. Decided to go all out and get myself sorted now, and lose the last 10-14lbs I need to get rid of.

Have been watching what I eat all week and have been to the gym 5 days in the last 6 in addition to my regular footy games. Smashing the cardio with 30 mins on treadmill or cross trainer followed by a 5 mile cycle and hitting the weights too. Never hit the gym with as much intensity and have broken the barrier of it being **** now, and am starting to enjoy it.

Weighing in in the morning and hoping to have kicked 3 of those lbs off straight away. Not that worried about the scales though as I can already see the difference in the mirror, and obviously as I'm lifting weights, I'm going to put some back on as the fat is replaced by muscle.

I've set myself a target of being where I want to be physically by September.

How is everybody else getting on?

  14. I think it was Hucks for me. Early 90s I was too young and late 90s I wasn't particularly upset by any of them, although losing Eadie and Bellamy obviously sacked, I didn't get too bothered by it.

Hucks was an absolute sledgehammer blow because he was so good, and moreover so bloody loyal to norwich. He didn't deserve that and that we never even got a chance to say goodbye made it more of a sickener.
