1.

Would have been safe with Hughton
I''m afraid you can''t factually say that. What you CAN say however is;

by looking logically at Chris Hughton''s record and form for Norwich, you can say logically that he would have done a better job than Adams is doing at the moment. However, because its not fact, some (many on here i''m sure) will dispute it.
You can''t LOGICALLY say Hughton would have done a better job. Hughton is a poor, poor manager and it''s his fault we''re even in this predicament. He had 33 games and did not pick up enough points against opponents that were vastly weaker than the last couple we have played. Not only that, even when we won, we still played absolute $hit, negative boll**ks for the most part.
Today was exactly like a Hughton performance, we capitulated against the big teams away from home almost every time we faced them and got thrashed under him.
I would rather go down without picking up another point, and get someone else in next season than have stayed up and had to endure another season of his $hit. He actually ruined Norwich for me this season, the games were a chore that I hated myself for choosing to watch every week, rather than something to look forward to.

2.
It has nothing whatsoever to do with ''Rastas''.
The term originated in the USA.
If you can''t be funny, at least be factually accurate!
Obviously I meant 4/20 is nothing to do with Rastas, Marijuana is well documented as being part of Rastafarian culture.
I hasten to add, if they were feeling the after effects of 4/20 today, 6 days later, then they either need their calendars recalibrating or they had one huge sesh.

3.
I blame him, he criticised the previous chef exc appointment of Bryan Gunn, has no done for me the same thing in appointing Adams, both had no managerial experience, and were the cheapest option availble.
To be fair, who exactly do you think was begging to take the job on in the position we were in? Your point is right, but your logic is wrong. He hasn''t appointed Adams through choice for the cheap option (ridiculous comment given how much Prem football is worth), he has appointed Adams because he f**ked up massively and kept Hughton for a year too long.

4.
This performance has nothing to do with Hughton. What are you talking about!
Read the bit I quoted maybe?
That''s normally why people quote things.
If you still can''t work it out, here''s the hint: "Adams will send us down".
F**king hell, it''s not difficult.

5.
Yep.

Redmond, Fer, RvW all crud

Adams will send us down
Hughton did that months ago. When we go down, Adams doesn''t need to accept an ounce of responsibility. Not many people would have the balls to take on the poisoned chalice of these last 5 games considering the position we were in.

6.
We won''t know the formation until the players line-up on the pitch. It could be a diamond, but I think (or hope) that we''ve gone for the 4-2-3-1 that worked so well against Liverpool.
Look at the semi-colons in the club tweet - they denote the formation usually.

7. First time I''ve been really worried under Adams.
Not sure why he is putting the same team out again (albeit RvW instead of Hooper).
I could understand if the formation was different, but if we are seriously putting Redmond up front again and playing the diamond, I''m going to find it difficult to put a positive spin on that.

8.
hadn''t realised a 2nd thread had been posted...

Glad to hear everyones happy to accept Mr Norwich and narrow defeats though....
How can you not realise when you started it? Odd.
I didn''t realise Adams was the only alternative to Moyes, thanks for clearing that up.

9. I would take Whittaker out and move Cafu back to RB. Put R. Bennett or Yobo (if he''s back to fitness) in at CB.
I''d probably have RvW in front of Hooper, but only just.
I would start with Johnson, but with a view to bringing Tettey on for last 30mins or so. Johnno gives us a bit of bite and Utd won''t fancy it if we get in their faces from the word go. Tettey doesn''t shirk his defensive duties, but he doesn''t offer the same level of grit that Johnson does.

10.
"£60mill over four years. Roughly evenly distributed"

Completely wrong, it isn''t evenly distributed at all as the first year payment is £23m. The second year payment is a little less. Then the third and fourth year are less than half that amount. So we basically have two seasons of being able to keep a competitive squad, if we aren''t promoted in those two seasons then we will be out of this league for a decade again probably.
Thanks for clarifying Juggy, I googled round a bit but couldn''t find anything definitive so went by a few articles from last year which had been written before payments had been set that were saying it''d probably be evenly spread out.

11. Miggins: Very easy to say "No-one can say what Hughton would have done because they don''t know". The reality is, we watched the negative $hite he served up for two years, whilst we cannot know with absolute certainty what would have happened, it is fairly simple to make an educated guess based upon a wealth of experience of watching Hughton''s abject negativity and watching the team roll over and die with no fight or passion under his charge. If we had gone 2-0 in 12 minutes under Hughton, we would have very little chance of even threatening a draw. We have scored more than once on just 4 occasions this season before today, and have collected just FOUR points this season from games where we have conceded the first goal. I think it can be said with confidence (albeit not certainty) that we would have been dead and buried after 12 minutes under Hughton.
Hughton''s record vs Liverpool:
5-2 L
5-0 L
5-1 L
Adams record:
3-2 L

12. If we go down, we go down.
The championship isn''t all that bad and we''ll certainly experience the joy of winning a bit more often.
West Brom were yoyo-ing for years before they established themselves.
It''s a ballache for us exiles not being able to stream the games (and having to shell out £40+ for CanariesWorld again!) but it''s certainly not the end of the world.
Having said that, after today''s display we are by no means dead and buried. Other teams proiduced great escapes, maybe it''s our turn to beat the odds (I seem to recall WBA beating Man United in the run in, on the way to surviving, when we went down with the Fulham debacle).

13. If we maintain the level of performance until the end of the season, then I would be fully behind Neil getting the job regardless of whether we go down or not.
He took on the poisoned chalice of these 5 games and realistically, we were always likely down. I don''t think the results should determine his future, I think that had we put in these kind of performances against lesser teams, we would be in a much more comfortable position right now.
If we continue to fight, and play with passion and pride, then I would give him the permanent job, let him rebuild the team and see where we go from there.

14.
Good news that someone is that committed to the club.John Ruddy: "Everything I value in life is down to Norwich. So I am very

passionate about this club and unless someone tells me something

different, then I will be at Norwich for the next four years."
I''m very pleased to hear him say that, although there is always the cautionary note that sometimes it is nothing more than a bit of lip service.
