1. Darryl Sutch coming back as penalty coach too apparently.
 2. 80% of Villa fans would have taken him before they appointed Lamberthttp://www.astonvilla.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=48933
 3. Gutted for Defoe, he''s a top bloke. Best wishes to him and his family.
 4.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Gardening leave = Villa either pay the compo for Cully + Karsa or get someone else in.
Yes, it also means us using up some of our already relatively small wage budget on two people who won''t be adding anything to the club. If we/our new manager wants Culverhouse and Karsa to stay, then great. If we/the new manager doesn''t want them to stay, why would we want to keep them on the wage bill just to spite our ex-manager? What if we end up losing out on a player because we can''t afford the extra wages that would have been free if we had shipped out members of the backroom staff we didn''t want, rather than place them on gardening leave? Some serious bitterness issues clouding judgement on this issue.
That''s the point though. We will have to pay them off anyway, so we put them on gardening leave for two weeks until Villa pay the compo or Lambert puts a new team in place at Villa Park and then promptly release them. I''m not saying put them on gardening leave indefinitely. Just to force Villa to show their hand, and if they baulk at the compo then Lambert will be screwed and we''ll lose what? 2weeks wages for 2 employees who aren''t going to be on a fortune, or Villa will simply pay it and we gain 450k (is the reported figure) in compo... No bitterness issues, Villa have already ripped us off for Lambert, should we just roll over and let them do it for Karsa and Culverhouse too? What was so hard to work out about that?
 5. Clarke WILL be appointed WBA boss according to the Sun and various other rags, within 24 hours. My best mate is a WBA fan. This is too funny. They baulked at 2M for Hughton and it just might cost them 40+M.Steve Clarke worked with Gullit at Newcastle, Gullit failed. He worked with Zola at Wet Spam, Zola Failed. He worked with Dalglish at Scouse FC, Dalglish Failed. The only place he''s worked which was successful was Chelsea seemingly in the Mourinho era when he was just a coach. This is priceless. they are a lock to go down imo - I might stick a bet on now.
 6.
U gotta giz a clue slim ????
Or a PM ;)
 7.
In that case If I was our CEO I would put Culverhouse and Carsa on Gardening leave, meaning they are still on the payroll and make it impossible for Lambert to take them to Villa and as well as that refuse to talk to To anyone connected with Villa untill compo is paid up, Lambert was not a free agent, and this couls get nasty.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Gardening leave = Villa either pay the compo for Cully + Karsa or get someone else in.
 8.
It will take a while to find out about comp for lambert and team but culverhouse and karsa will not be involved as of tomorrow
Why so cryptic? you''ve been posting all day alluding to being in the know, so who''s the extra coach? Either give us the info or stop making cryptic comments if you''re not goign to tell us what you "know"...?
 9. Sebastian Boenisch from Werder Bremen is a top player and on a free, but is looking likely to sign for Stuttgart :(
 10.
Am I the only one who thinks the green is a bit too bright and should be a bit more subtle?Apart from that, I do like it.
Possibly right tbf - I knocked this together in 5 minutes though, I wasn''t trying very hard lol - I might edit it a bit later.
 11.
I''d sooner watch the propper football and not collage rugby with crash hats on,  We play Football not soccer, Tin hat on
So would I, Norwich and football come first, but seeing as almost all NFL games are played on Sunday evening, I don''t really see an issue with supporting both. And if that''s your assessment of the game then you simply don''t understand it. It is entirely different to Rugby, which I dislike immensely. The shape of the ball may be the same but the game is 100% different.
 12.

Hand egg woooo
this was my favourite NFL moment from last season.
Stupid crap forum.Favourite NFL Moment Of 2011 Season
 13.
Hand egg woooo
Lol, Norwich and proper football will always come first for me, but NFL is a fantastic sport. The problem is that it isn''t hugely accessible due to being complicated and games taking a long time. I see it almost as a game of human chess, it''s a lot more tactical than football for sure.this was my favourite NFL moment from last season.
 14.
Get a room guys!
Good call - moving here: NFL Talk thread in off-topic forum
 15. Moving from General!RG3 is elite, no two ways about it, I think we''re about to enter a very successful period in franchise history. Despite what John Mara and the NFL stitched us up with (ie $36mill in cap space reduction). I can''t wait for the upcoming season, I love our pickups during free agency too and we have 2011 2nd round pick, DE Jarvis Jenkins to come back from injury after he missed the whole of last season - during pre-season he was looking like a superstar so hopefully he can regain that form after a long layoff.I trust Shanahan implicitly - he will get us another Lombardi if Snyder keeps firmly in the backseat!!
 16. I lamented Morison last season due to his lack of effort in several games. Can''t help but wonder now though, if he was given a run in the side and told he is the main man, would he be able to perform?I''m going to say yes and hope he proves my comments about him last season wrong. Maybe stepping out of Holt''s shadow is exactly what he needs to shine. Let''s hope so.
 17.
Kick it off is your avatar an NFL player? because it looks like that to me.
Yeah, I''m a big Redskins fan, and we had a player (Sean Taylor) who was horrifically murdered just over 4 years ago by people who were burgling his house. The best player we have seen at the Redskins in a very long time, always gave it everything and was immensely talented. The image in my avatar is this:I changed it on the anniversary of his death and never got round to changing it, might do so in a while.
 18. Don''t the club normally use Dunstan Hall?
 19.
Like the half and half colours, reminds me of his half black half grey hair- has always confused me that! Anyway, great manager, a new era: COME ON YOU YELLOWS!!
Very much inspired by the Obama "Change" poster. If anyone has any ideas for NCFC related graphics by the way, I''m happy to have a go at creating something
 20. Cheers GDH - I''m just pleased the pic worked!! :)
 21. Just made so thought I''d share.Dunno if this will work cuz I''m using chrome but image will hopefully be below (if not, link is HERE so would appreciate someone else pasting the pic in here)
 22. I love the fact we have dropped this on the day of Lambert''s first press conference. The cynic in me would love to believe McNally has done it on purpose.
 23. The GK coach that is coming with him is the one that Hodgson has called on to help Ray Clemence with England.
 24.

He will have just about all the crowd behind him. Has there ever been a more popular choice of manager for us?? Fantastic exciting times ahead for us all, considering how nervous most of us were only a few days ago OTBC [:D]
Given that McNally only said 2 days ago that he would be looking for a manager with vast top league experience.........why would it then be Hughton??
For god''s sake someone get an edit button running on this forum!McNally never said "Vast" as far as I''m aware...
