1. Just tweeted by the club.It will be his last ever game too as he is retiring at the end of the season for a media career with BT Sport.Could be worse.
 2.
"Foreign loans don''t count as loans, they count as temporary transfers, and therefore they could loan 100 from Udinese and still be well within the rules." Doesn''t make it right.
Agreed 100%, but wanting Watford to come up as they''d be dismantled doesn''t work out was my point, as the 2 loan rule doesnt apply to anyone they''ve loaned (except Chalobah, dunno if his age means he wouldn''t count though). I totally agree with your sentiment though, the way they''ve come up is essentially cheating imo, even if it is within the rules.
 3.

Palace. The way Watford have gotten where they are is disgusting IMO.
Agree with your sentiments QH - and it is for that reason that I am hoping for Watford - they would have to start out with a virtually new team - only 2 loans allowed - so they would not have the team spirit, camaraderie etc of a more established team. Therefore, from a purely selfish perspective, one of the favourites for relegation
Foreign loans don''t count as loans, they count as temporary transfers, and therefore they could loan 100 from Udinese and still be well within the rules.
 4.
As to changing the manager then that should be only if the bard feels that the present manager was not up to it, NOT because some ''name'' has been booted out elsewhere.
Hmmm I would prefer McNally and co to make decisions about our management team, rather than Shakespeare...
 5. Palace but only cuz I have quite a few Palace fan mates and as a result I like to see them do well.
 6.
Have also heard that we are keen/closing in on jay spearing?
I bloody hope not, he''s crap. I''ve a couple of genuine Liverpool fan mates (as in not plastics) and both really don''t rate him. Every time I''ve seen him he looks lightweight and his passing is worse than almost any pro I''ve ever seen.
 7. I''m not in Nottingham, but am only about half an hour away (I live in Alfreton but will be moving to Derby in August). I work every other weekend at the moment, but hopefully will change by the start of 2014. I try to go when I can but not always that easy.
 8.

I assume this guy isn''t intended for our first team, just a prospect we can nurture in our academy?
He''s 15 so I would say it''s a fairly safe assumption he''s not been bought for the first team yet. Scored 11 in 18 playing 3 years above his age group, for Luton''s U18 side though so sounds like a decent prospect
Are you sure he scored 11 goals in the under 18''s, and not in his age group, It just says he was a regular starter in the under 18''s league.
He was a regular starter for the U18 team this season. This season he scored 11 in 18 games. I''m putting 2+2 together so could be wrong, but it makes sense to me.

 10. Jacob''s been raiding Russell Martin''s underwear drawer!![:s]
 11. Should read hucks goal against bham
 12. Chef Evans rocket vs Cardiff and hucks vs ham are two that haven''t been mentioned yet that would be above howsons in my list. It was a beaut of a strike but probably only in my top 10, not top 3 or 5.
 13. Yep Hucks for me too. The bloke just electrified the team and the crowd every time he stepped on the pitch.Leroy Lita did pretty well in his loan spell here too imo but not even close to the same level of impact as Hucks.
 14. I''m going to Germany in a month to see a couple of friends I''ve not seen for 4 years, and then I''m off to Sharm El Sheikh for two weeks... doing my open water Scuba diving certification whilst I''m out there! Never been to Egypt before so the rest of the time will be chilling and the general touristy stuff I guess. Aside from the holidays I wont be doing much though, except working loads [:(]
 15.
Hopefully theyll now loose to Arsenal and draw vs Villa and were safe!
If we draw vs WBA then we''re safe if Arsenal beat Wigan. Hopefully it wont come down to that, we need to get the job done ourselves.
 16. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.We fooking needed that. Massive, massive result for us.
 17. TIENDALIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.
 18. F**K OFF YOU LUCKY NORTHERN C**TS. JUST F**K OFF.UN-F**KING-REAL.
 19.
I''ll make it personal: you''re mother. Go!
"You''re mother"... You are mother? Bit of a weird insult? Let''s try to bicker with accurate grammar please!! [:D]
 20.
I''d be happy to have Vaughan, but as far as I know he''s not eligible.
Correct, he''s not in our 25man squad and is over the age threshold so is not eligible.
 21. To be fair I know everyone is going nuts on here, which is why I''ve not posted, but Wigan were INCREDIBLY fortunate to win yesterday judging by MOTD. WBA had two penalties denied, one of them was absolute stonewall, one was certainly in the "you''ve seen them given for less" column... Wigan cleared it off the line in the last minute of injury time and all sorts of other shenanigans. They really rode their luck.Luck is something we''re not having much of at the moment, but there is no way Wigan can get that lucky in several consecutive games.Anyone would think that Wigan are 1970 Brazil with the amount of utter $hite being touted on here. The fact is, they''re not a very good team who got a very fortunate win yesterday and have a habit of getting lucky towards the end of the season.Yes, we are in real trouble, but Wigan have to go play Swansea (albeit without Michu), Arsenal away and Villa who are on a good run at the moment obviously, as we discovered, with 10 points out of the last 18 available.Wigan are where they are because they''re not very good, and we are where we are because we''re not much better.Even if Wigan win their game in hand vs Swansea, they still have to go to the emirates to play an Arsenal side with something to play for, and home vs Villa, and achieve more points than we do in comparable fixtures. We host WBA who have won 1 in the last 6. They host Villa who have 3 wins and a draw in their last 6.We go away to the Etihad to play Man City who have nothing to play for. They go to the Emirates to face an Arsenal team still fighting for Champs Lg place. That''s all assuming they WIN vs Swansea. If they lose on Tuesday they will have it all to do vs Arsenal/Villa. We are in trouble but Wigan haven''t got a run in that is any easier than ours really.Oh yeah, they also have the distraction of an FA cup final in the middle of all of that whilst we can focus on the job in hand.
 22. I''ve been a smoker for over 10 years.Last week I spent just over £60 on an electric fag starter kit (£45 on the kit and £18 on the refill pack).Best money I''ve ever spent. I only got it yesterday morning due to missing the delivery on Friday, and have been using it since yesterday evening.I can smoke indoors, it looks like a real fag, it feels like you have a real fag in your hand which is psychologically important to me as Im as addicted to the habit of having a cigarette as I am to the nicotine. I''ve been smoking it in the house, which I couldnt do with normal fags, and the missus is sat next to me and can''t smell it so when they say odourless, it is a legit claim. It gives a "throat hit" like a real cigarette does, although it tastes a bit different, it tastes much better imo and doesn''t make your breath smell. Oh yeah, and how about NO HEALTH IMPACTS!!I cannot recommend them highly enough. If any smokers out there are thinking about it, I would advise you to take the plunge. £65 upfront sounds like a lot, but when you consider it, it is only equivalent to about 9 packs of 20 fags (approx £7-8 each).. The equivalent of a 20 pack costs me less than £1.50 so I will make my money back on it by not smoking 10 packs. The kit I went for is the Rok Jet Black starter kit, but there are plenty of brands out there. Skycig have also been recommended to me, as well as Green smoke and V2. I went for Rok because independent sites rated them cheaper on the refills and it comes in a case which looks like a fag packet and is a portable charging device for the battery stems.Im not here to advertise Rok as a brand but they''re the only ones i have direct experience with, do your research and pick one that''s right for you. You can get better value for money if you choose one which doesnt look like a fag, but like I said, the psychological aspect is important to me.In summary, if you smoke, switch to an electric, you will not regret it. You can pick up disposable ones for £2.99 if you look around a bit so there''s really no excuse not to give it a try!!
