1. I would take Whittaker out and move Cafu back to RB. Put R. Bennett or Yobo (if he''s back to fitness) in at CB.I''d probably have RvW in front of Hooper, but only just. I would start with Johnson, but with a view to bringing Tettey on for last 30mins or so. Johnno gives us a bit of bite and Utd won''t fancy it if we get in their faces from the word go. Tettey doesn''t shirk his defensive duties, but he doesn''t offer the same level of grit that Johnson does.
 2.
"£60mill over four years. Roughly evenly distributed" Completely wrong, it isn''t evenly distributed at all as the first year payment is £23m. The second year payment is a little less. Then the third and fourth year are less than half that amount. So we basically have two seasons of being able to keep a competitive squad, if we aren''t promoted in those two seasons then we will be out of this league for a decade again probably.
Thanks for clarifying Juggy, I googled round a bit but couldn''t find anything definitive so went by a few articles from last year which had been written before payments had been set that were saying it''d probably be evenly spread out.
 3. Ricardo''s report should give you a better idea of how the game went LDC.http://services.pinkun.com/forums/pinkun/cs/forums/3106462/ShowPost.aspxFor the record, I thought it was a top performance and we were unlucky not to come away with a point tbh.
 4. For the record Ricardo, Johnno did get a block on the shot for the third. Didn''t look as if it was going to trouble Ruddy if it hadn''t deflected but it got a wild one into the ground and looped frustratingly out of Ruddy''s grasp.
 5. Miggins: Very easy to say "No-one can say what Hughton would have done because they don''t know". The reality is, we watched the negative $hite he served up for two years, whilst we cannot know with absolute certainty what would have happened, it is fairly simple to make an educated guess based upon a wealth of experience of watching Hughton''s abject negativity and watching the team roll over and die with no fight or passion under his charge. If we had gone 2-0 in 12 minutes under Hughton, we would have very little chance of even threatening a draw. We have scored more than once on just 4 occasions this season before today, and have collected just FOUR points this season from games where we have conceded the first goal. I think it can be said with confidence (albeit not certainty) that we would have been dead and buried after 12 minutes under Hughton.Hughton''s record vs Liverpool:5-2 L5-0 L5-1 LAdams record:3-2 L
 6. If we go down, we go down. The championship isn''t all that bad and we''ll certainly experience the joy of winning a bit more often. West Brom were yoyo-ing for years before they established themselves. It''s a ballache for us exiles not being able to stream the games (and having to shell out £40+ for CanariesWorld again!) but it''s certainly not the end of the world.Having said that, after today''s display we are by no means dead and buried. Other teams proiduced great escapes, maybe it''s our turn to beat the odds (I seem to recall WBA beating Man United in the run in, on the way to surviving, when we went down with the Fulham debacle).
 7. If we maintain the level of performance until the end of the season, then I would be fully behind Neil getting the job regardless of whether we go down or not.He took on the poisoned chalice of these 5 games and realistically, we were always likely down. I don''t think the results should determine his future, I think that had we put in these kind of performances against lesser teams, we would be in a much more comfortable position right now.If we continue to fight, and play with passion and pride, then I would give him the permanent job, let him rebuild the team and see where we go from there.
 8. https://vine.co/v/M1EKLvVOmB0This epitomises exactly why I hate that scumbag little (unt. I honestly hope someone does him Muscat style and the cheating little rat never kicks a ball again. There is no redeeming features, he''s a wonderful footballer and a complete (unt of a human being.
 9.
Have you seen us away from home?
Different ball game with Neeyul at the helm of good ship Canary though.
 10. £60mill over four years. Roughly evenly distributed.
 11.
Good news that someone is that committed to the club.John Ruddy: "Everything I value in life is down to Norwich. So I am very passionate about this club and unless someone tells me something different, then I will be at Norwich for the next four years."
I''m very pleased to hear him say that, although there is always the cautionary note that sometimes it is nothing more than a bit of lip service.Where is the quote from?
 12. Indeed. It is a time where heroes could rise and legends could be forged.Or we''ll get beat as expected.Either way, I''ll be backing them to the end.OTBC
 13.
Don''t worry Morty we will be back there next year and he can score against us
Derby are in the playoffs. They''re probably the best team out of the ones who may finish in the playoff places. Wouldn''t be at all shocked to see them go up (which would be gutting for me as I think we''re likely going down and I live in Derby so have already lost one local away day with Leicester''s promotion. Losing two would be a bit galling!)
 14. Believe it''s 19 in the league and a couple in the cup.It was also Friday night he notched it.Was a lovely finish to be fair to him. Awkward ball fired in 6 yards out, and he slid for it, and caught it lovely with the outside of his boot to send it flying into the top corner.Well done to the lad, glad to see him achieving.
 15.
So it was ok for you and others to bash CH with every unfounded stick there was and now we all got to shut up and fall I to line. Glad scho is back next week! My 50+ years of life have been as full and as much fun as can be crammed In. Supporting Norwich whoever is playing or managing, 3 sons all 100% Norwich supporters ( no plastics In my house), building a kit car and countless other things. It is narrow minded blinkered supporters like you that we do not need. Many people are of the snake opinion as me but choose to have a life on not post on forums that are dominated by parole with an axe to grind and find fault In most everything. No one has been happy with the form this year but the semi t majority were "content" as just staying in this league is one hell of an achievement for a club of our ilk. Come back when you have been to over 600 home games and seen how bad it can really get. Spoilt we are.
I never bashed CH with an unfounded stick. I bashed him for his abject failings as a manager but I wasn''t in the crowd that blamed him for all the combined ills of their lives. Particularly ironic when you''re sat there bashing Adams as a "tinpot appointment" who is guaranteed to take us down based upon ONE GAME. Hypocritical and incredibly stupid - nice combo. Not true, I think you will you will find that most people are of the opinion that you''re absolutely, 100% wrong and getting rid of Hughton was badly timed, but given the circumstances was absolutely the right thing to do. Most people are of the opinion that it should have been done sooner.I''ve seen exactly how bad it can get, I follow them away more than at home as I''m an exile, so I would venture I''ve probably seen a comparable amount of utterly $hite performances. Under Hughton was the least enjoyable period of my 25+ years supporting Norwich. Even under Roeder we played better football. I would rather go down under someone else than stay in the Prem with Hughton and have to watch that gutless $hit every week.If the highlight of your life was building a kit car, well, each to their own, but it doesn''t sound all that brilliant to me.
 16.
With CH everything he did was seems wrong by some. Playing Ricky Not playing Hooper Not playing Wes In edged wingers Etc etc Adams gets of lightly but this afternoon he may well have us into the relagation zone. Tin pot appointment to appease the pitchfork wielding yokels. The truth come out. We will get nought out of the last four games with Adams in charge.
Fu(k off. You''re boring. If you''re trolling, then I suggest you practice a bit more as you''re not very good at it. If you believe what you''re typing and you''re being genuine, then you''re a fu(kwit who''s opinion is worthless anyway.Either way, your posts are tedious and moronic in the extreme, and I would wager that your life is incredibly dull.
 17.
what happens if a fan runs onto the pitch and slide tackles suarez? Does the game get called off or do you keep on going and the club get fined? ...I may have a plan
You wouldn''t make any contact. Suarez would be 5 foot in the air before you were within 3 metres of him. Diving little c*nt
 18. http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/article/20140418-neil-adams-norwich-city-liverpool-preview-1495643.aspx?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ensKA5Xu-JoLove the positivity, reminds me of when Walker came out and said Lothar Matthaus was the weak link in Bayern''s team. World cup winner, World footballer of the year the previous year IIRC.The upset is on. OTBC
 19.

Seeing as Lambo has fallen out with his boys, Malky + cully and karsa would be a good bet for promotion in my view.
I have a suspicion that if Mackay is appointed, we may see Neil Adams appointed as either his assistant or as his first team coach.
I would also not be shocked by Neil as Assistant if we appointed MacKay. I believe their careers with us overlapped by a year or two so they would be familiar with each other (albeit 15 or so years ago, no idea if they''ve kept in touch). I am fairly confident we will see Adams as our manager within the next few years, be it this time, or working as an assistant with one eye on the next time the spot becomes vacant.
 20.
no, mcnally said he''ll get the job if he gets the right results. A loss at Fulham is not the right result
Call me a cynic but I''m not convinced McNally is always transparent with us.
 21. This is purely me thinking aloud, but every time I check the NCFC news, I see a new article by the club spouting off about Adams and co''s credentials and experience. Could it be that they have decided to give Neil, Mark and Paul the opportunity, regardless of what division we are in?We''ve all heard the media making jokes at our expense "Norwich''s own Alan Partridge" etc etc over the last week or so, and it seems like the club are putting these releases out in a bid to make them seem more credible. Is it a case of PR so they don''t look inept if (when) we go down, or is it us, the fans, they are trying to convince as the decision has already been made? Seems to me that the latter is more likely but I''m interested to hear thoughts of others?
 22.
Only five? That''s a bit cavalier.
Agreed. Hughton played 11 at the back against them and they still stuffed us. 5 is asking for trouble.
 23.
Isn''t there a clause of contract where if we''re relegated, the player gets a reduction in wage?...or am i just hoping?
Yep McNally has previously confirmed that all contracts we''ve done over recent years have had relegation clauses put into them IIRC.
 24. I think fans have a right to voice their opinion, but chanting "what a waste of money" does not sound like it was directed at the experience of following Norwich away, as alluded to by some. That chant is historically always directed at players. Possible it was in some vague reference to following Norwich away, but after one of our better (albeit fruitless) away performances where everyone gave 100% for the cause, it seems an odd thing to chant.Which leads me to suspect it was being directed at Ricky. Fair enough, he is not getting the job done at the moment, but are chants like that really going to have any positive impact for a player low on confidence? If they were proper fans then they would have been chanting something supportive in a bid to get our record signing''s chin up off the floor and ready for the next game, rather than making him less motivated to play for the club.If this story is accurate, then the fans who were chanting that are an embarrassment to the club and I would have fully supported Ricky if he''d got out the bus and belted them. Wouldn''t have done his career any favours but if you''re doing something badly, the last thing you need is a group of fans chanting to you about how badly you''re doing it. It''s hardly like he wouldn''t be aware that he''s been sub-par this season. At least it shows he gives a $hit.
 25. Agree. I''ve said all week, I would much rather go down and have a decent season under a new manager, than I would stay up and watch another season of Hughton''s sh*t
