Mclean is crap, and we'd be infinitely better off shipping him out and putting somebody useful in. He offers us pretty much nothing, every week. He is a jack of all trades and master of none. Definition of a mediocre player and the fact he is a mainstay and hasnt been replaced is exactly the reason we can never establish ourselves in the top flight. If we cant do better than mclean in midfield, then we wont be staying in the prem should we go up again. Genuinely baffled as to why he is picked.

I wouldn't be sorry to see him go. A swap deal for Farke would be ideal. I'd do that as a straight swap, no consideration needed, however I don't think BMG would sit for that somehow. I thought he'd smash the championship but it appears that's not going to happen. Money could be better spent elsewhere. Can we ship Gibson out whilst we're at it. More error prone than Bassong, and at least Seb was entertaining to watch when he'd do his customary Messi like dribble from the edge of his own box once a fortnight. I agree with the sentiment, but I'm also an nfl fan. 60minute games take 3 hours to play. Admittedly, there is more changeover as there are essentially different teams that come on depending on if attacking or defending, but stopping the clock in Football would make life very difficult for trains etc on evening games.

An ex colleague of mine taught both Jude and Job at school. Both excellent geographers in case you were wondering. Job was always regarded as the higher potential of the two in terms of footballing ability at youth level by the way. No idea how he's developing now, but obviously has a long way to catch up to Jude
