  1. It'd just put him further in the shop window, too. And he's not even our product to sell is the worse aspect.
  2. Never noticed it, so not bothered me. Be interesting if I pick up on it now though! 🙂
  3. Oh that's my point, deductions should be made either end of season or start. Not messing about three times mid-season as it's then directly affecting the sporting integrity of the league if you're removing points and then adding points back on.
  4. I feel that taking points away, giving some back, and then taking points away again, within the same season, makes a mockery of the league. These are points related to sporting achievements, not chess pieces.
  5. This is when you find out it's a fellow posters wife! 😉
  6. You're not the FIFA guy who used to post videos on here, are you?
  7. "We didn't make much noise because the club gave some tickets away"
  8. You don't think they'd be the happier of the two taking 1 point then?
  9. I used to give Kenny a lift to the co-op when he worked near me, nice chap but wears his heart on his sleeve far too much and people take advantage. He looks so much older since I've last seen him though. As above, they're really quite harmless, although i'd you have to wonder what Glyn has in that CEX bag, probably some dodgy old Betamax's 🙂
  10. I appreciate that, but there's also the reality that getting 3 points is much easier from a 0-0 position vs the gamble of getting into a fire fight with a team in form.
  11. I appreciate what you're saying, but it's more nuanced than that as teams at the bottom could be there through sustained injuries and have players returning, and also change of managers could certainly see a bounce. On the flip however, like you say, it's more likely the fight will leave them quicker if they go a goal down and start to think "here we go again". It's an easy cliche I guess, and more likely used to warn players of the favoured team so they don't under-estimate them.
  12. That binner needs reminding that if it weren't for playoff places, teams like Coventry wouldn't be gunning to beat teams like Leeds to do them a favour. It exists to ensure that at least half the teams are fighting for something and thus competitive to the final day. It's not 'fair' that they ripped off local businesses, but do we still go on about it? 😇
  13. "We're top o'tha league ...EXCEPT IT...." what? ....Except it won't last? 🙂
  14. Thought I was lazy, he's still got his bloody Christmas decorations up and it's April.
  15. I know two staff at Colney and both said he's going to be trouble, as when told 'no', he just digs in harder. That's not a dig at him as a person, but rather how he responds to authority and how focused he is on personal ambitions. It's not like it's some hidden secret either, it's just the way he was made. If there's a sniff of interest he will be off, and if he's not given the move there will be problems. Bookmark this post, as they say!
  16. I think Rowe will be gone whatever, but regardless of that I'd have him replacing Barnes so Tzolis can work some magic in attacking positions (Think Stiepermann style role), allowing us to field pace out wide. I see that much more fitting of the expected style that Knapper will want us to translate into, plus enhances us as a younger squad of developing talent.
  17. I think the rules prevent us from fielding players at other clubs, though. Tzolis is already on the books, as is Rowe. £6m coming in, once agents and everyone has had their share both ways leaves you with less than £6m to replace a player who is worth £6m. I think that's more of a risk personally, as I said, it's whether the player suits and we can get the most out of them in the team that should be the ultimate decider were Fortuna unable to afford him.
  18. The only risk with a player who has demonstrated ability is if you can't utilise him correctly. So you'd hope any decision would be based around that. Plus he seem's a very grounded/humble guy who'd be loyal to the cause too, I get completely different impression of Rowe - who's ego will be a problem for us in the future.
  19. Is he the one in the red police hat?
  20. I'm going to setup our version of the ultras tomorrow if anyone wants to meet by Carrow Bridge, We'll be called "The Rummuns", So you gotta be a rum ol' bugg3r if you want to join.
  21. Why do they use fonts on their flags that looks like they've been lifted from a High School Musical prop?
  22. Did this other person have holes in their palms from gripping money too tight, too?
