1.

A petition along with this, and I think we may have a chance of a 3pm kick off. We would have to liase with the scummers though, as it would need to be a joint petition...
Where''s Smudger when you need him....? [:^)]
Hopefully the morgue
2.
If I was Doherty I''d tell him where to stuff his contract . . . - Fat Prophet If you were Doherty, we''d be waiting for you to screw up (again) so we could lambaste you. This last comment of yours braying about 2 wrongs not making a right, it seems you admit that offering a new contract to him is a wrong, and fans being bothered by his delay is wrong. If this all results in him NOT SIGNING, then I''d say these 2 wrongs did make a right. Roeder should start reducing the offer for each day Doherty doesn''t accept it.  Then see how fast he signs!  If he does sign, hopefully he will be a reserve.  EEeeeeYyyoooorree!
How many times have you seen Doherty play?
3. Could someone get some stats for when there was last a major incident at the derby. A petition along with this, and I think we may have a chance of a 3pm kick off. We would have to liase with the scummers though, as it would need to be a joint petition...
4.
If Roeder still wants Donkerty, then we are buggered, any decent manager would have got rid years ago........I''m very worried now for next season.[:''(]
You don''t like anyone, you don''t know anything. An opinion from you would be a novel thing, rather than just a damning indictment delivered in a patriarchal style. No one looks up to you, know one wants to hear your moaning.
5. The Doc is good enough at this level, cut him some slack. He''s no world beater, he knows that, but he''s a capable member of an extremely small squad. Losing him will be a blow
6.
i presume he is drafted in for numbers? seems they have extra games this season they need extra bodies also who do they have on right wing? just kranjcar and utaka play there dont they? one get injured say 1st september then they got 1 right winger
That doesn''t really explain the situation. They still have over 2 months to sign right wingers, if you''d asked me this morning I''d have said Glen Little was only a borderline Prem player, not of European quality...
7. http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/?cms_id=78&qs_articleid=1299&qs_media=htmlJust moved to Pompey. Anyone else surprised? Didn''t think he was god enough to improve their squad.
8. I know the Scottish league isn''t fantastic, and that successful players in that league don''t necessarily make it elsewhere, but he featured in a side which qualified for the UEFA Cup on league position. I think he deserves another chance, although I''m sure Glenn knows best...
9. As for Clingan, I''m happy if it happens. Sounds promising, and at the moment I think we have to give Glenn the benefit of the doubt...
10. It''s best to ignore Wiz, he''s just a sad old tw@t with no real friends, so comes on here in the hope of some attention. You will die alone Wiz
11.
Strikhavka isn''t playing because he is currently re-wiring the River End Stand.
I actually laughed out loud at that :) OTBC
12. 60k to make that equaliser against the scum, you can have a few quid off me
13.
Delia''s Devonshire Dirtbox wrote: what gives you the right to post some of the rubbish you do.............take the bet. 50 plus years of continous, active support, gives me that right Lamykins!................and you have zero chance of me taking any bets with you in such a childish manner. Its just not happening, savvy?.
You have nothing to be proud of. You seem to think that posting more on here than anyone else gives you some sort of authority in life, but your constant changing of opinion just makes you seem like a senile old man who doesn''t really know what he''s talking about but can find strength in numbers by clinging on to the most aggressive crowd. You won''t take the bet as you will have changed your mind by the end of the season at least twice, and agreeing to it would force you to stick to a point, which we all know you are totally incapable of, and would also make you look sillier than you already do on a daily basis. Armchair warriors, the life and soul of this club...
14. I actually laughed at that, I really like the film but the book is so much better, well worth a read if you haven''t already. Just thought I should let everyone know I am actually based in the North-West, so not quite as hardcore as you may have thought. I think I''m going to get drunk at home and then have a few cans on the train over, colours free. The only thing worse than watching us lose in the freezing cold would be a broken nose... Thanks for all your advice
15. Is anyone going to Burnley tonight? If so, does anyone know of anywhere we can go for a few beers before hand, and also, is it as rough as I''ve heard? I''m walking back to the train station afterwards, so I may not wear my shirt if it''s as bad as I''ve heard. Please don''t post back if you only want to tell me we''re going to lose, I''m fully aware of this already... OTBC
16. After everyone, me included, saying that the central defence being the main issue the transfer window just gone, I for one am now convinced that we need to look for a striker on loan as priority. We have players who can hold up the ball, but it just seems our strikers will never ever score again. I''m sure Jamie will score a few this season, but I''m worried that if we rely on him, we will still be down around the bottom come May. Anyone got any ideas who we could bring in? OTBC
17.
Ah right, the old "It''s the fans fault we''re sh!t" one again.
Clever, witty. If you bothered reading the rest of my posts you''d know that I am as p!ssed off as anyone, and I''m angry that the players aren''t performing to the level I expect of them. Unfortunately, we are stuck with these players, and I''m worried that we''re going to be relegated if we slag them off. I blame the board, but blaming them and berating the players for it is only going to get us so far. Still, sarcasm is the way to take this club forward isn''t it, you funny, funny man...
18. Why do you think? If they bad mouth the club, then the club stops speaking to them. Archant needs the exclusives, interviews and scoops to stay alive, so if they came out and slagged off Grant, Delia etc. then they would lose out big time. It''s the way of the world unfortunately...
19.
We are all angry, and completely dumbfounded.  But whom do we blame? Dion, on return, must be played forward to provide some attacking threat, if necessary dropping Cureton for a few games.
Everything else you say is correct, but Preston first game of the season Dion played up front and was dire to say the least.
20. I''m as angry as the rest of you, but what is the point in blaming the playing staff, and abusing them on matchdays? We all know who''s fault it is, we can get at them in so many better ways. If we don''t start backing the team, I genuinely fear for our future... OTBC
21.
TIP 1 - Resign IMMEDIATLEY. TIP 2 - Take Chris Brown, Gary Doherty, Julien Brellier, Jason Shackell and Ian Murray with you. TIP 3 - Pursue a different career other than football managment.
Every player there, with the exception of The Doc, who i agree needs replacing in the long term, has a future with this club.
22. The problems lie rooted deep in the club. I understand we all have our favourites (debatable) and our not so favourites, but I am worried our fighting amongst each other is going to ruin what small hope we have remaining this season. I know it says a lot that already I and so many others are considering survival in this league a relative success, I know that some of the players don''t look like they''re giving 100%, I know Grant makes the odd mistake, but hounding them and others will not help. We need answers from the people who run this club, and I fear that with all of our squabbling, not just on here, but in general, we will lose face and end up with a new manager, who is walking into a club near enough bottom, with bad attitude and no morale. We should all feel short-changed, but why can''t we vent our anger together at the people who do make a difference? It is the board who have got us here, and I for one want to know how they are actively getting us out of it. I want to see 5 year plans, not short term cr*p, I want the board to tell it like it is, not tell it like we want it to be. This isn''t happening, and we deserve to know why. Maybe Grant isn''t the man to take us forwards, maybe half our players need replacing, maybe not many people want to come here, but this time next year, if we don''t get together, Grant will be gone, half our players will be good enough, and it will be a thousand times harder to recruit new players. Survival is the key now, sad as it seems. If we can stay up, supporting the team we have rather than comparing them to what we had, and in the meanwhile work to make the board understand that this is no longer acceptable, forcing a change in personnel or a total rethink of how this club is run, I would see that as a successful season.
