  1. just the budget is  league one, thats what you''ll get, semmi- lg1. clingan lg1. Lee. desperate journeyman. cody.first ever chump start. you know you are going down when roeder did not fancy shackell or doherty yet here we are finishing the season with them. and when cureton''s goals for barnsley, and the disgracefull sacking of glenn roeder when he saved the bacon against all odds last season. and hooly''s injury oh just !!%68))8{]
  2. and you know they''re not going to beat charlton. even the most ardent fan knows now
  3. with this guy, found their level of club.
  4. Excellent news.  just how much will that cost? what a waste of money. no way will they go up or keane stick around. Roy Keane,  down the road, it''s the funniest thing  I have heard in ages and ages.
  5. best player in the first city game I saw, 3-0 v Coventry 1976. Graham Paddon, Jimmy Neighbour. Class acts. RIP those days seem so distant now.
  6. and Jamie-lad and Matty-Patty. oh,  and ''Chrissy'' Martin and ''Mickey'' Spillane. But please not adam drury.
  7. 20 years ago, I was  at Villa Park for the other semi-final. From my point of view, at the Everton Game, Norwich did a Norwich and capitulated weekly. I hate Pat Nevin and turn him off when he comes on the box. Fleck had to go to a funeral,Phelan missed the game, Norwich chewed toffee all game, with reflection, I like to think we threw that game because the players knew what was happening at Weds. So after driving all the way in a knackered Mk 2 escort, witnessed the most dissapointing city performance i can ever remember, and news of the devastation at hillsboro capped off a shitty day.  a few years earlier ,I had been one of the 10,000 plus  city in that end, an accident  waiting  to  happen, there was serious crushing that day,  anyone else back me up here? so it ultimately led to allseater stadiums, i hate them, my first experience of them was at coventy,FA cup a riot  ensued before and during the game,  no segregation !!!  So,  play with a passion, we have been so let down in the past.
  8. Colney you are deluded my friend, any manager would struggle on the peanuts he has been given. these here loans, How much do they cost... 15% of player budget that is all. City have to pay for loans, but they cost much less than you think.
  9. how much would it cost to sack him now? if delia has a personal fortune of £15 million (lies) then I suggest she gets out £10 million for three or four players! Thats what any true fan would do.
  10. I do feel sorry for him because he has not had anything like the amount of money needed to make city competative in this league. That is the only area I do feel any sorry for though, read the rest of my post. I am not a Roeder fan.
  11. agree with that, russell MUST play in centre midfield, but Bell is not fit or good enough, cort is not match fit 60 mins tops, semmy is not fit.
  12. it''s all going wrong. I do feel sorry for him, he has had no money but he must of known the financial state. yes he did help us stay up last season, but this year is a worse team. No centre forwards of note. one centre half.  hated because of his treatment of Hux, added to his obnoxious nature, bizaare tactics and selections, I still feel he will be given the next three games and will know its time to call it a day if city fail to get six points at least. last night would have been ideal for a change of tactics or personnel (e.g. Eagle, Lappin, Daley, Renton, Dumic)  we all know that, but Roeder is stubborn. so expect Russell up front against Barnsley and a half fit side 1-0 down after 20 minutes.
  13. how do we know that any new investor has the clubs best interest at heart? what galls me is that delia is one of the richest women in the country but is happy playing shop with out of date stock.
  14. yes, great fans we all know that Mr. non-story. we also know you are an overpaid plum. we also know how bad the first team really is.
  15. Lappin is completely useless at champ level, he was found out. small, lightweight, no pace, cant tackle. shame really, honouring his contract, he will be gone by the end of the season  anyway, just try and forget about him. The Loans, well, unfortunate they are needed, but what would we have been like this season without them? Southampton seem to be at the same level as us whilst blooding a lot of youngsters, thats the shame, stick a couple of our home grown lads in the team, they could not be any worse.
  16. ok, I know there is no money and we are saddled by the cook and have been getting progressively worse for three seasons now and we have no big players (match winners and size wise) and the very small squad that half of which are inadequate loan tools, but until last night I fully backed the manager acting under extremely difficult circumstances, but now I have joined the growing band of City fans that want shot of him. You can never blame one player,or the team, only the manager. Last night we all know he got it wrong again. Bye Glenn.
  17. Lita on the bench due to the great chances he has missed
  18. Marshall otsemobor Doherty Kennedy drury daley bell clingan hoolahan renton lupoli Bell central- good on the ball, passes with both feet. Hoolahan-let''s really see what you can do two youths-pace and confidence all together more pacy, skilfull- going to have to keep the ball well away subs. Lita, Pattison,Croft, Adeyemi, GK.
  19. it''s awful, just can''t see where that win is coming from. L L W L L W we beat Shef. Wed and Reading away. what happens if all 6 are lost?
  20. every dog has his day, Jamie''s had his. Go to Doncaster with your head held high, he is a  past  signing from a previous failed manager. So, why does he even make the bench? I said ages ago I don''t think he will ever start for city again, time to play Daley and Renton methinks
  21. Real shame for Jamie lad, with no target man, our wee un will always struggle, no flicks or knock downs etc for him to feed off. Confidence is rock bottom, and this season he and everyone else can see, his legs have gone, no pace. When we sold him years ago I said it was a disgrace, he went on to score a lot of goals elsewhere.
  22. the first problem is Doncaster, (no, not the team)  his salary equates to all the revenue the club gets for one home game. surely to god it would have been better spent on a players wages. I could spin arrogance to the fans for nothing. Get rid of him now.
  23. Nelson omosuzi, archibald-henville, kennedy, bertrand bell, clingan, pattison, hoolahan sibierski, lita   yes, recall A-H, he cant make as many mistakes as doherty, and then this is YOUR team Mr. Roeder, YOUR players is it good enough for the championship? you have got to be joking is it good enough for league one? I dont think so either!
  24. No, of course not and will not, Delia and co. may know diddlysquat about football but they have great business brains behind them and would never have risked their fortune gambling on unknowns, only part, disposable income.
  25. And exactly how much does he get paid? He is never, ever going to top the wages at this club. A less than average Scottish league player.  Lap it all up and then bugger off back to Scotland you useless waste of space.
