1. I imagine i''ll get told to move on by the few expected morons on here, but i''m looking forward to see both Barnett and Holt running out at Wembley today [:)]
2. It would also be funny to take him away from QParse!
3. Really BBB, I didn''t think anyone disliked Defoes footballing ability. Wherever he goes he will score goals.
4. From the Mirror: Queens Park Rangers have been told it will cost them £6m to land England striker Jermain Defoe, 30, from Tottenham. If this is a true sum of money, then surely a player worth pursuing? Yes wages might be an issue, but his pedigree is second to none, and he''s proven in the premier league where as Quag isn''t.
5.
Currently stands at 49% of the votes for Russell Martin. Just a question for those Martin supporters, do you really see him being a regular player on the pitch next season? I was surprised when i voted for Bassong and found he was a long way behind in the poll, but in my opinion, there is no better candidate for a team captain.I do believe however that Martin would be a good club captain.
Bingo [:P]
6. Gave up on us, lost all respect for him!!! I think Helen Chamberlin still holds a torch for him though!?

8. Sky Sports 9.45 pm Juventus have confirmed that they expect two forwards to leave the club this summer. Juve currently have six front men in their squad having brought in Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente this summer. Now Juve general manager Beppe Marotta has confirmed two of his forwards will have to leave, adding to speculation that reported Premier League targets Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri could be the most likely candidates to leave. Sebastian Giovinco and Mirko Vucinic are the other two forwards in the squad, but they would be appear to be ahead of Quagliarella and Matri in the pecking order. "I don''t want to make names, but we have six strikers and we''ll keep only four of them," Marotta told Sky Sports Italia. Norwich have already confirmed their interest in Quagliarella.
9. I''ve been saying the same for months, Fox should be put in a box and mailed out. Fox has never been fantastic... never.
10. The great age debate! I have no problem with seeing players bought in their late twenties, early thirties. But I think we have to go back a few years and learn from experience. Under Mr (work ethic) Worthington we got promoted and settled in for our 1st premiership season in some time. Two of the players bought in, with international experience and in their late twenties, early thirties were two great players, Mr Helveg and Mr Jonson. If you remember, they didn''t have any English footballing experience and it took the whole season for them to bed themselves in, by which time we had left it too late. I think we should heed caution to this and think seriously about bringing in players in their twilight years with no English league experience.
11.
WHU, apparently, are no longer interested - fee and wages too much for a 30 year old.
Kind of agree with them [:|]
12. Toby what''s his name is still a potential. Nothing about Red Scouces going for him yet, even with our approach and his agent stirring things up.
13. he''s signed for Blackpool.I think Ipswich got out of jail with that one?!?
14. Okay GJP, fingers crossed your source is good and we''ll get better than this fella?!?
15. I would love this to be true, it''s a flip side to the coin, but what have you been told/read/heard from your colleagues sisters uncle?
16. Quite why LDC had to start pretty much the same thread an hour and half after this one isn''t beyond me!
17. Does anyone think that Carlton Morris, Josh and Jacob Murphy could be in Hougtons game plan this coming season. I know the Murphy boys were a little infuriating at times with their greediness, but that can be worked on and I believe in Carton Morris we have our replacement Grant Holt in the making. I know people will argue about the age thing and experience, but when you look at the likes of Rooney and Walcott, they both did it at top six clubs. I hope they get their chance, there is no point in an academy if we don''t use it to it''s full potential. I think Neil Adams has a big part to play in our future.
