No, just ignore it. The clue is in what I actually wrote.

Yep. Seems like a lot of money also for someone who’s hardly played many games. I guess we’ll see but you know he’s nailed on to score against us. 🤷🏻♂️ -
Ignore this just noticed the deadline day thread.

Dean Smith "we're hard to beat"

Just seen that. How embarrassing. -
It’s 15% of any profit.

I’m not optimistic. Although we’re in an inferior league the issues don’t seem to have been addressed. Results in preseason are irrelevant but I thought we’d have a formation and style of play nailed down. It looks like Smith is going 4-3-3 which doesn’t suit Pukki. Time will tell but I’m not confident in smith.

Are we still a work in progress?
vlad666 replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Since he’s been here I still can’t see what he’s trying to achieve. I don’t see any improvement from any player and I’d argue a lot have gone backwards. The lack of creativity and style of play in his formations is a huge concern. Lastly (and this might because we got accustomed to this under Farke) there seems to be a lack of movement from players when in possession. The players seem rigid and don’t seem to have many options and resort to a lot of direct balls. There’s a distinct lack of flow to our game and find it quite an old fashioned approach. -

It’s only pre-season and results don't matter but it doesn’t stop me having a bad feeling about dean smith. I hope I’m wrong but I just don’t have any confidence in him. -
Dowell in the championship can do I decent job but I wish he’d play attacking central midfield instead of wide right. Just doesn’t work for me.

Keane Lewis-potter joining Brentford for £16 million plus add-ons that can take it to £20 million. Crazy prices. He scored 13 league goals last season and 12 the year before. 🤷🏻♂️

Didn’t realise they signed Adam Phillips. We released him a few years back. -
Don’t know if he’s going to pass the fit and proper owners test 😂

Shakespeare mic'ed up/ Pressing
vlad666 replied to Christoph Stiepermann's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I think pressing is a mixture of mindset and attributes. Someone like Rashica has the attributes to press effectively but didn’t do it for whatever reason. On the other hand you have McLean who often tries to press but his lack of speed/mobility makes it quite ineffective. Can you be taught to press more efficiently if your body doesn’t allow it? I’m not so sure. One of the biggest reasons why we don’t compete at premier league level, I believe, is because we lack the players needed to do this effectively. -

Ac Milan have just bid £20 million for Charles de Ketelaere of club Brugge. Funds for Tzolis maybe. -
I honestly wouldn’t blame him either. It must be so disheartening running yourself into the ground and feeding on scraps every game.

Promoting mental health by fooling people with a kit launch really leaves a sour taste for me. It’s an incredibly important subject on a personal level for me as I’ve had two friends commit suicide in the last three years. There is a huge problem with a lack of funding into mental health and I feel the club would be better off helping that aspect. Whilst the clubs intentions were good I feel a bit uneasy with the way they’ve handled this.
