Radio Norfolk commentary is done if the best local comms I reckon but they’re fans too, which shows and I don’t mind one bit. Agree it should be for a hefty chunk of fringe but I don’t mind a few better lads in there too. It also helps the fringe get used to playing with players they’d need to if they were required to come in, invariably these are the more influential players in terms of what we are trying to do

Players can literally get injured any game. It’s no more likely in a cup game, especially this cup where you’re not fronting up against some overly keen minnow with players trying too hard to win a big hard tackle. Tbh the FA cup is far more of a hazard in that respect

He could be exaggerating or does have a lucrative job outside TNC. That said, if he is in certain industry it might be a big contract type thing? My mate is self employed and does sound installations, if he couldn’t fulfil a job due to being out of the country it could be easily a few thousand

I think morale and team spirit is huge for momentum and a good cup run builds on this and if some fringe players can get success when they need to come in and cover they are confident and able to step in at the required level imo. I hope we get a good run of at least one cup tbh. If we get knocked out by a prem team with some depth then fair enough but we should be knocking off teams in and around us to give us an aura that when we play them in the league that they’re on a back foot

Aside from never hearing of him before the YouTube montage suggests he is a good fit in current set up if a little too light evidence wise of him chasing everything down, which Sargent has done relentlessly since he joined and I think is his biggest attribute. Hopefully he is a genuine link as I do feel cover is needed, the high press can be incredibly fatiguing across a season

My daughter was born when the song ‘shotgun’ by George Ezra was number one, so I have a nice little affinity with it. Whenever he sings ‘time flies by in the yellow and green’ I immediately think of us. Obviously wasn’t his intention, but there’s only one yellow and green that matters

As annoying as it is I’m not sure there was malice in the process, it was a keeper desperately trying to make amends for a crap clearance attempt. He won’t have intended to cause injury and you see plenty of players going through another, like when a defender is shielding a ball out for a goal kick for instance.
