I presume he picks the team, tells them whereto play, he makes the unbelievable at times substitutions, and when we are ahead(not often this year), i presume it is he who gets the players to sit back behind the ball, thus inviting more pressure. which injuries have affected the team? with the exception of saffri, i cant believe that those that are out (including mckenzie), are any better than those that are playing!

thats exactly what i thought when i read the well written and well thought out article. His comments are spot on and most certainly not a "knee jerk reaction". would suggest that a copy is placed in the board room and at the training ground for all the players/board and the management staff ( its not just worthington, some of the blame must rest with the coaches and other so called backroom staff), to read and inwardly digest. in reality, of course, the board are already committed to keep the manager ( they are not likely to have changed their minds after one win and one defeat since the AGM), the players sure as hell dont seem to be bothered and worthy and his crew have surely lost the plot. win/draw/lose against luton...............who cares any more...certainly not many of the posters on this site anyway.

Nice one jobian. i personally think that the fans, certainly in the barclay give good vocal and positive support from the kick off. This inevitably drops off the longer the game goes on as you can only react to what you are watching, i.e., if the players are woeful and lacking in team spirit/fight, this speads to the fans etc. oh good, only 3 hours to the first bridgehouse pint, i feel i am going to need a few.

well said. looking forward to a home (or indeed an away game), was always something to eagerly awaited to break up the hum drum of the stressful working week. At the present time, i look forward to the pre match pint or 7 plus the after match grumble, but the bit inbetween is becoming so predictable. i cant see it changing with the current set up. you are certainly not alone. and before anyone asks.............no, you can not have my season ticket.

whoops, i think you missed my point! it was a pretty feeble attempt at sarcasm! having joined in the booing/slow hanclap/are you watching delia etc just before the end of saturdays game, i was "rounded on" by other fans in e block (come in row P), for not supporting/getting behind the team. Give me strength, i have supported NCFC for 40 years ,i pay good money and have witnessed in the last 18 months,with one or two noteable exceptions towards the end of last season, some pretty bloody inept performances from the team and the same old excuses being trotted out time and time again. all i am saying is, lets sing our own song at 7.40 tonight, i am sure we can manage one without the idiotic countdown man !

rather than boycotting or booing during/after the game on tuesday, (yes, i know that booing your manager/players is not big or clever and guess that there will be arguing amogst ourselves if the result goes against us), how about not pandering to the prat who gives the 3-2-1 countdown? i cant be the only one who finds it totally embarrasing and a pointless waste of time and effort. Certainly given recent "performances", it sure as hell does not motivate the players, plus you can see the away fans laughing in amazement at the playground attempt of "whipping " up an atmosphere.

archie...........it was "kicking off" all around the upper tier and in the bar at half time. my guess is that the same will happen in the lower barclay on saturday and tuesday, if results / performances do not improve.At least the QPR stewards were sensible and let the fans get on with it....certainly where i was sittting, they had cause to eject half a dozen at least! Ah, the good old days of "in fighting "............replace the mid nineties with mid "noughties" and reset the clock... happy days are here again.

made me laugh on saturday anyway! Apart from the comedy defending, midfield crunching tackles(not), and woeful shots at goal that is. having witnessed the debacle at QPR on saturday, i fear that, if the results are against us on saturday and again on tuesday against cardiff, the fans will spend more time and effort in arguing against each other rather than getting behind the team, ( witness the second half discontent in the upper part of loftus road, bar area at half time and at full time when two or three players appauded the fans). couple more points: was Ashton having a go at the fans in the second half...............i hope not mate.......i paid good money to watch you and your colleagues make a very poor QPR side look like world beaters.   plus were the police expecting Millwall? i have never seen so many police horses and old bill !
