I remember a game I played to get into some third rate County Cup - we went one- nil down and gaffer took 3 guys off and replaced them with 3 of the kids from U16 and told them, ‘Save the Day’
We got an equaliser scored by a 16 year old to draw and held up through extra time.We won the Div 1 Cup Final but it was because of our depth. Kids who can do the job!!
