1.
yes i think he should come back he would be a good signing for the comming season he adds class to the left wing and can put decent crosses in for ashton. dave
Your av`in a laugh ( ha ha ha ) Bentley put good crosses in, i can remember only two from the whole season... The cross for Svensson to score the winner against Bolton ( i think )... and the free kick for Ashton against Man u... Its a struggle to think of any more... He`s ment to be a rising young star, but his touch, passing and strength to hold onto the ball are i`m afraid not good enough... And i bet he would want a nice little earner out of it... NO, NO, NO THANKS ...
2. This is`nt a dig at anyone, but with all the young members on here now, i just wanted to know who was following us in the dark old days... by that i mean the gap between 95 and worthy ...
3. 1st 3 games at home, could be full houses and 9 points... but what if we don`t start well... will all those band wagon jumpers,  jump off... after all they only turn up when things are going well...
4. yes i remember being at his 1st game on trial ( so to speak )boxing day, away at QPR.. what a game and we won 3-2, and at home to blackburn 1-1, he really did turn us around... and then the bad old days were history... so anybody who questions worthy has a short memory, or was just one of those so called people jumping on the wand wagon...
5. Well the new seasons fixtures are now out and we`ve had time to take them all in, so what is the game you are most looking forward to this season ? mine is ipswich away. i`m going to move heaven and earth to make sure i get a few tickets
6. The 3 teams that went up to the prem... Sunderland... of all the 3 teams this is the team i would like to stay up most, but i fear for them,,, Wigan...even though nobody wants to sign for them at the moment, have the money and will stay up... West ham ( HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE THEM but think they will stay up... so another big name is comming down... Think back ... Ipswich ... had a great season ( top 6 ) then went down... West ham... had a great season  ( top 6 )then went down... Man city tried to do it last season... Blackburn. Brum, Fulham, Wba... or a big name... what do you think???
7. Even though i knew we were not going to stay up at our 1st attempt ( and told you so ), the manner of the defeat at Fulham was for me pretty hard to take, but as they say time is a great healer, so now the Rabbit is back... Well i must say i did`nt enjoy the prem ride until we got to the last bend ( man u ) but then what a bloody great ride they gave us... I said that we would be stronger for it ( money wise ) and would bounce right back ( still think so )... I thought the teams that would give us the most trouble in getting back would be the other teams that came down with us ... But i must say i have to rethink this now, as i had west brom to come down with us instead of southampton... Southampton... selling their best players... not a threat... Palace are a threat and will be up there with us... Wolves i did say ( if you look back at my posts ) finished the season well and have money to spend, so will be a threat... i don`t think the scum are going to be top 6 stuff ... Derby and Preston had their chance and blew it... But i must say a team that i was`nt paying much notice of, is now giving me cause for concern... Leeds... they are buying well and will be there or there abouts at the end.. Its good to be back...
8. There are 3 of us in Headington, but we are going to the game
9. Who thinks they are a true norwich fan ? do you not read the sunday papers and sulk all week when we lose ? do you come out of away grounds ( colours on ) and hearing a stupid remark from home fans behind you, turn round and give them both barrels ? do you record every game norwich are on telly, and if they win keep it for years and watch them over and over again ? do you live over a 100 miles away from norwich, but still go to as many games as you can, stay for the night and spend a bloody fortune ? do you pay alot of money to watch norwich home and away, in the prem, at the top of div 1 , or in the dark days at the bottom of div 1 ? do you grow up in a far away city, where all your school mates support all the top teams, and take alot of stick ? do you buy every new shirt when it comes out ? did you buy shares in norwich ? were you a member when we were in the prem before ? did you watch norwich on the telly win in munich, and even though you were pi**sd, walk half amile to the nearest shop still open, get more cans, watch it over and over again and get well hammered, but still go to work the next day with a proud smile on youe face ? do you live and breath norwich ? if you won 10 million on the lottery, would you give half to norwich ? why do i support norwich ? well i don`t come from norwich , but when i was a young lad most people in oxford were man u, man city, leeds and chelsea fans, but i wanted to follow someone else, so i picked norwich and have been yellow and green ever since ( if anyone is thinking why not your local team, come and watch oxford and you`ll see what i mean ) well i bet some of you can better this, so lets be hav`in you.....
10.
As the picture on my desk top calender for May is Flem!
he has been agreat player for this club over the years, so to say a thing like that is at best not very nice, so he might have found it hard in this league, and i do agree he should have been dropped for a while ( like adam ), but to say something like that REALLY GETS MY BACK UP... bet your one of these people who jumped on the band wagon, and never watched us in the dark old days...
11.
I can''t believe some people?! "We are down" When we''re only a point behind the three teams above us with the easiest final two games of the lot. I''ll say it again; Palace have only won one game in si...
Beds.. sorry but i live on planet earth... its right what you say about us only being one point behind, and two games to play... but, brum arn`t going to roll over and die, its a bloody hard game and if we win it will only be by the odd goal ( in saying that i do think we will nick it ) fulham away is also a bloody hard game, after the win over man u this was the game i was most worried about ( going into it needing something ), we hav`nt won away all season and now some people are saying its an easy game, i really fear for us in this game, but me and my two boys are going ( 1st away game this season ) and i really do hope i`m proved wrong... but don`t put me down as a person who dos`nt care or dos`nt know what they are on about. i`ve followed us foe just over 30 years, home and away, not so much of late only being a member ( but the 3 of us have been members for over 10 years )... what i`m trying to say is i do care alot ( alot more than most of you ), but i just can`t see us getting anything at fulham, so i think we`re down, BUT GOD I HOPE I`M WRONG.....
12.
Well Wenger has admitted to being interested in Beckham! If he does go to Highbury/Ashburton Grove then we may be able to add Bently to the squad. One thing is that I dont think after this season tha...
Chicken, sorry but i can`t agree with what you say about bents... i posted pre season about what a gamble signing he was, just a kid with talant ( but not proven in the prem )... you mention the free kick against man u, well you could also say that the shot that came back off the woodwork away to man u and the ball into the box for the winner at home to bolton ( i think ) were top notch... but apart from 3 bits of magic, what else i ask ?
13.
out of all you''ve said i think that the most part i disagree with is that wolves will finish 2nd i just had to laugh at that. but i dont think we are down yet either there is still a chan
Mase, why is wolves being 2nd so funny, ( i must admit i don`t like them ) but they are ending the season on a really good run, and have the money to add to the squad, so again why so funny ?
14. we will beat the brum on sat  (2-1 ) infact my son matty will wear only a G STRING AT FULHAM if we fail to to beat them
15. i know you don`t want to talk about this yet, but..... we are down, so lets look forward to next season..... who`s going to buy green, no body cos he`s to prone to the odd mistake..... francis yes but only for 3 million..... ashton   this is the make or brake of us , if he goes o k we will get alot for him (but will find it hard to replace him ) and might struggle to make the play off`s  but if he stays we will walk the league..... (bents out i hope so ) this is a postion we are lacking in going forward, if we could get a player on the right wing that carries as much threat as hucks on the left we would walk the fizzy league..... helveg/eddy, not to sure, so strenghen there and i see.... 1st NORWICH 2ND WOLVES 3RD through the play offs WBA
16. Yes the Rabbit is going to fulham, wearing the old green away shirt( lucky shirt that is) I`m in lucky block p 3 row 0 seat 44.... anyone near me ?????
17. I`m telling it as it is, and from the start of the season ( only drawing with palace at home ) i new we were going down We`ve never picked up points when they were there for the taking ( i e blackburn and pompy at home ) i could add man city and pompy away.. But when we got the points against man u, newcastle and charlton i started to believe but after the lose on sat, i think we will beat the brum, and palace will get the 3 points... going to the last day, i see only a defeat at fulham, while i see palace getting a point at charlton but if we hang on to ashton, WHAT A SEASON TO COME.....
18. You say your going to fulham with your mates, and are wondering if you can wear colours and chant..... well seems as i got thr tickets, and your brother is going to make it 3, that makes you BILLY NO MATES ..... go on reply to that ?????
19.
because chelsea worked as a team ,against man utd we worked as a team against southampton some players didnt.
you can`t say that with out naming names king of latvia
20.
Why is Helveg unable to clear the ball easily rather than try and do the fancy stuff and cause problems at the back. Not sure if Eddie is any better - desperately need a good, solid right back. Also...
not sure about helveg ? but then again you could be right about francis
21. i`ve waited to post this cos its took me a little time to get over the defeat  on sat , i was`nt at the game, but was listening to it on radio 5. It sounded a really close game, and even though we were leeking goals, we were scoring, and making loads of chances so why did worthy sub hucks for charlton, if it was cos hucks was`nt fit or could`nt carry on, i would understand it, but the bloke on radio 5 said he did`nt want to come off, I hav`nt said a word against worthy all season, but i am saying it now. as soon as we made that change, they brought on camara bad tactics by us, good response by them
22. It has been reported in the press, that wigan will spend 40 ( yes thats 40  million pound on players if they go up, and they only have poxy crowds, so what chance do the so called little teams have when all the so called sleeping giants wake up ?
23. The times my other half has said... YES YES YES
24. If west ham don`t make it up ( i for 1 hope they don`t ), then they will want to get him off the wage bill, he could do a great job for us next season.???
25.
Great ! As a member, I''ve seen fewer games this season than the previous ( Oops, too many to mention) seasons.
Well said swindon... I, like you am only a member ( since 91 ) and could go to as many games as i liked ( home and away ), but since all these so called fair weather supporters jumped on the band wagon its bloody hard getting tickets, so the sooner they all jump off the better. By the way, i`m only down the road ( oxford ) so hope your lot go up this season, not far to go if i`m lucky enough to get a ticket
