2. Lords for me. sitting in the sun drinking beer while watching England in a one day game, beat that...
3. Ian Wright had a program on the telly, it was called somthing like Wright across America,,, They are showing re runs on sky and i caught one the other night,,, He was with a few hairy bikers, and the subject of incest came up, after they had been chatting for a while, Ian said you can/t talk about the good people of Norwich like that... Not being from Norwich myself, can anyone shed some light on this,,,     ...
4. To be honest , not to sure,,, There are some big teams in this league, and most teams have added to their squad,,, So while i hope for a great season, i am not so sure we will do that well,,, I will go for 10th,,, But if we add a couple more players to vital postions before the window shuts, then you never know,,,

9. There has been alot of talk on here of late about unrest, SO YOU WONT renew your season ticket The true fans of this great club will always follow through good times and bad The hardcore stayed with it even through those dark days pre Worthy   and the hardcore will always be there So you people who only came onboard when things were rosey in the garden can jump ship if you want I have been yellow and green since 1972, and even though i live in Oxford i could pick and choose any game i wanted, that was until  all you glory chaseing fans climbed on, now only being a member im told what games i can go to at home, and the away season ticket means not much chance there aswell So i say to all you so called fans who are getting 2nd thoughts JUMP,JUMP,JUMP
10. Being a Norwich fan in Oxford means that i tend to go to more away games than home Ive seen many a bad game over the years, but every now and again there is the good one My best away day ever has to be Villa in the 1st year of the prem, we went 2-0 up only for them to come back to 2-2, then Sutch scored and that win put us about 9 points clear at the top, and i can still here the chants of we are top of the league say we are top of the league 2nd cup final, great win and Sunderland fans made it a great day out , apart from us they are the best fans around 3rd Watford away when we knew we were up, what a day that was , and the Watford were great But aswell as the good, there has also been some bad  Port vale Swindon and Oxford to name a few
11. You never here me moan , but i`m not to happy with the way things are going... You all were happy with Worthy going, but are we really any better off ? Some of you say that under grant we are picking up points good enough to be in at least the play-offs ? Well my thoughts are that under grant we might have had a few good results away from home, but thats it, the word lucky springs to mind Can anyone say that under grant we have played good attacking football, i know we seem to never be able to field a full strengh team under him, but  his tactics, well i just don!t  understant his tactics ? While i agree we should always be looking up, but is it much different to looking down , the points between  the play-offs and the bottom 3 is not that much different so we should beware ? So i guess what i`m saying is are we any better off under grant , than we would be under worthy ?            m
12.
I''ve yet to see a glowing report from anyone saying he''s a great player!? I keep reading that he''s over-rated!? Or is it a case that we''re now so desperate he''s the only viable option left!  Still i''m enjoying the anticipation but will be really annoyed if we don''t get anybody in the next half hour! Come on Worthy you''ve potentially got £3 Million burning a hole in your pocket! [8-)]
Well said, does anyone remember the game away at Derby a few seasons ago, the game green let a back pass go in under his foot... He came on as a sub in that game, he has pace to burn i admit but he got through for about 3 one on one s with green and cocked it up everytime, so i for one am not so sure.
13. With less than half an hour to go it looks like no one will be joining us... So i guess it will be loan signings from the prem instead... But off the top of my head i can think of no one... Any thoughts ?
14. Agree its alot of money, but was he the player who beat 4 players and then put the ball in the net the other night live on sky ?
15. I must admit the best game that i have ever seen has to be Sunderland against Charlton in that play off final..... But the best Norwich games that i have been to are... The cup final in 85... Villa away, when we went 7 points clear... Watford away when we knew we were up.. Only regret has to be missing the game of all games in Germany...
16. I  have been to many an away game in my time, you fans who live in Norwich walk back to your coach or train untroubled, but spare a thought for us fans living elsewhere, we have to make our way back home walking in with the home fans, and if you have got yellow and green on let me tell you ,win or lose you get nothing but abuse from them... The question is..... when does the red mist set in , i must admit i have only lost it once... Do you remember forest away with hucks, got alot of abuse on my way back to the the train staion, even though i had my boys with me at the time, 13 and 15, i just lost it when some cocky forest git starting winding me up, i turned round and laid into him with a volley of abuse but got warned off by a copper, i tried it again a little later cos i was really up for it at this point, but the forest fan was backing down by now and the cops got involved again and gave me my last warning. So i guess we have all been there... But has anybody else seen the red mist on there way home...
17. Just wondered after all that has happened, how many of you were going to the Reading game, got my tickets today. I`m not expecting 3 points or a great performance, but me and my lads are Norwich till we die, no matter who the manager is, or who is playing for us...   We`ll be in the pub on your right as you come out of the train station ( can`t remember the name ) about 6 ish, hope a few of you turn up...
18.
Somebody has mentioned Mike Walker. Have they forgotten Ipswich 5 Norwich 0, in a season when five and six goals conceeded was a regular feature. Apart from his Ipswich spell, which finished up in ad...
Yes i agree with bringing burley in ... But lay off walker, am i the only one who remembers what he did for this club... 2nd time round might not have worked out, but for christ sake... we had our best times under him.
19. Why did we sign this bloke, all he does is run round like a headless chicken, at least gary holt won a few tackles...
20. Are me and my kids the only ones to notice, that hucks did`nt want to know on saturday ( is he carrying a knock ) or has he had enough...the only city player to be proud to wear the shirt was ashton...As for Jarvis, knocked of the ball to easy, shame i had high hopes for him, but alas i don`t think he`s going to turn into the player i once thought he would
21. Cast your minds back to worthy`s 1st game in charge ( all be it on trail ). it was in them dark old days... boxing day away to QPR... We were a team fighting to stay in this league, and playing dreadful football, but that day was the turning point, we won 3-2 and under worthy we climbed to mid table saftey.. The following season saw us turn things round, and reach the play off`s... With high hopes we went into the next season, only to finish just short of the play off`s... The following season was going nowhere, until we got hucks and co, then we reached the promised land... The promised land seemed a step to far, but at the time i did`nt blame worthy, even though i did`nt agree with his signings... I went into this season with very high hopes, a top two spot was there for the taking... Even though we had a very dodgy start, i still thought that it was just a matter of time until we clicked and climbed the table.. Well here we were again away to QPR, and even though we did`nt have our best team out, i still thought we were a match for them... How wrong i was... This performance was so bad, it took me back to them dark old days, the days i`d never thought i`d see again... So, even though i admire what worthy has done for this club since he took over, i am now thinking he has took us as far as he can, and even though it will be sad for him to go on such a low note, i think its best for the club at the end of the day... THANK YOU FOR EVERTHING WORTHY, but its time for a change...
22. Palace are saying that A J has to score about 40 goals this season, to get into the world cup squad, so you know what to expect when he gets in the box...
23. Well i, like all of you am looking forward to a good season... I said many times last season that i did`nt think we were good enough to stay up, but coming back down we would be in a much stronger postion than we were 2 seasons ago. We`ve got a good squad, good manager and we are much better off money wise, i also think that no matter where we are in the league come the Jan window, we will add to the squad. There are many good teams in this league, we all know who will be up there with us ( myself i think Leeds are the team to beat ), but what if we miss out this season, would it be the end of the world, by that i mean would people want to start jumping ship, and we would have to think about getting rid of the high earners ? We`ve got loads of goals in us, lets face it Hucks ran this league ragged 2 seasons ago, and will do so again, Leon will score 15-20 goals and god knows how many Ashton will score, and when everyone is fit we`ve got a pretty good midfeild, BUT its the back line i`m worried about, we just seem to find it very hard to keep a clean sheet...
24. And you thought we were having a bad pre-season... I`ve only seen two of their results, but Coventry have lost at Rushden, and 3-1 at Port Vale... So lets not get carried away after we`ve stuffed them next week.
25. We are a quarter of the way through july now, and to date its been 3 in, 3 out. I seem to remember worthy saying he wanted about 5 in, aswell as replacing anyone who leaves. My point is, this bloody window will be shutting in a few weeks and we have a smaller squad than last season at the moment, so is this going to result in panic buying ? Please no Tom, Doc or Harry
