1.
COULD THE SACKING BE A SIGN OF INVESTORS COMING INTO NORWICH OR DO U THINK ITS JUST BECAUSE OF SATURDAY
It just have to be something to do with ££ £ £ £ £ £ £ , no other reason seems logical [:O]
 2.
To all Pink un Pickers, On reflection, after re-reading this thread and the numerous personal emails to myself from Ray and Nutty I see how my comments have offended many of you. The comment wasn''t particulary worded very well and written at a particularly emotional time (I will explain to everyone at the meet), although well meant on my part, it has caused much offense and for this I am truly regretful. I am proud to be associated with the free bet thread, I want it to be a success for the Academy as much as we all do. I consider all of the pups to be "friends" of mine and never intended to turn the thread into a malicious one - I agree that this is the one place everyone can seek solace from the rest of the Pink un board. I hope you will accept these words as my unreserved apology, and I am still hoping to make the meet on the 21st. Apologies to City Angel too, for causing havoc with the thread this week, when all the efforts should be focused on finding those winning naps. Please, please carry on with the naps you feel best with, Good health to you all, Kevin (Leeds canary)
[Y] Well said mate, peace prevails ! [:D] [B]
 3.

Also, I want to voice my concern about pickers choosing their Naps because it enables them to rise the table [:@] Nuttys tables are meant to be a bit of fun, and to statistically guide us when choosing our naps. They are not there for oneupmanship and "I''m choosing chelsea/man u/etc because i want to climb the table" In my eyes, the table doesn''t exist when I''m choosing the nap - I only want the best chance for that weeks picker. And with that in mind, very good luck to you, City Angel! Leedscanary (Young Gun)
Fair point Leeds, but you can also look at it in a different light -  if that''s what people want to do in a game (or whatever you want to call it) that has no restrictions providing they stick to the good nature of the thread; then it shouldn''t matter. Besides - it''s no worry. It''s far from easy to climb the table. You can''t just pick an ''easy win'' each week that will always come off for you. The winner will always be fair, always. That was in no way me arguing with you, just to clear that up. Just simply putting across an alternative viewpoint [Y]
Well put Shaun and I endorse your viewpoint, but I do not agree that "Leeds" has a fair point. When Ray and Nutty set this up it was on the basis that each and everybody had complete freedom of choice as to what and why they made their pick. As one of the first members I told them both whatever they decided was the way I would want it, this is the way it should be now for all of us. Therefore I suggest that "Leeds" is going against the spirit Ray''s wishes by telling PUPs the basis that they should make their picks and already causing friction within this peaceful part of the Forum.
 4.
I heard you the first time! ;o)
Err, so that''s 3 x £20K then Barry ? ? ? ? A nice little sixty grand Barry, [Y] you aint the infamous what "what do they do in trainun.." Barry, . . . are you ?[:O][;)]
 5. The main saving grace is our dodgy keeper was exposed early enough, that we had a replacement ready, and that the damage was limited to one match.
 6. Scotland for me too :- I think Rangers will hit the road running this season and can''t see Falkirk causing them any problems if they continue with their poor away record from last year. RANGERS v Falkirk = HOME WIN Good luck Angel [A]
 7. We are actually going into the next round of a cup competition [:O]
 8.
Thanks everyone, and thanks Nutty - absolutely gutted but proud to be part of the 5/6 club - so near yet so far, and I know that i''m in good company!!!  I will endeavour to go one better next season if selected!!! My only solace is that I started my PUPS season with a victory and so hopefully my top 5 finish will be possible! Thank you again everyone who entered their "nap" - it was a great help on a difficult choice.  Come on everyone - let''s make it a record breaking season for the right reasons!!! Muddy
Hard luck Muddy, it''s damned hard any time of the year but first games is ten times as hard, yet your effort was still so near ! Well done Nutty, I just don''t know how you manage to handle all those stats [B]

Arrogance." Or even a six goal margin [:D] Arrogant me ? anything but mate, a super optimist that can spell maybe. This was meant to be a light hearted post, I wasn''t looking for insults.
Although you did write about ''tea spirit'' [c][;)]
"tea spirit" ? hmm thinking about it perhaps that was more apt, ha ha[:D]
Obviously, GJ, you were referring to the spirit of the American colonists when they staged the uprising in Boston Harbor to protest the new tea tax. Tremendous amoutn of spirits involved there.  You wrote what you meant. I got your back on this one!  [;)]
You are so astute Houston, nice to have someone on same wavelength as me ! [;)]
 10.
I will still want Gunn out.
. . . . . and then . . . . .what ? Or have you not thought that far ahead yet ? [:O]

 13. . . . yes I confidently expected a six goal margin on Saturday, but not against us for crying out loud ! [8o|] But as I said the little signs that signal (to me personally anyway) that an adverse result was coming were niggling away and I let them go ... Firstly my disquiet about Theo a week before, nuff said.  Then my other true sporting love the England cricket team ,who often mirror City''s fortunes ! surely we couldn''t be that bad ? [:@] Archant wheeling out player after player saying how "good we are", "confident","great tea spirit", yeah right, always leads to tears [:''(] Slagging off ,by us, of former returning players (Lisbie), always seems to bring the best out in them, but not this time eh ?[:$] Finally everybody so confident we would win, now don''t we just know they will always do the opposite ? we never learn  do we ?[:#] Ah well life goes on, the players and manager are already climbing into the media headlines, the England cricketers are floundering it seems and I''m sure there are ex players waiting around the corner to make us look silly again. But one good point is that we are not at all confident now for any success are we ? So maybe, just maybe City are about to confound us again by doing the opposite, eh ?[;)]
 14.
TOLD YOU SO!!
Me too sad to say, I feel lack of confidence in the keeper, whether misplaced or not, will eventually spread through the rest of the team more than any other position would.
 15. "**Norwich**" To question the pickers selections is not what this is all about, please refrain from criticism, it''s the individual pickers choice alone.[:D]
 16.
I wasn''t at any of them... way too young Jim [;)]
The only one I missed was the last one nutty, I had borrowed on my wages for weeks ahead and no one was prepared to give me any more credit ![:''(]
 17.

I wuz there !
Well, I''ve looked at it three times now and I still can''t see you Jim! [;)]
Ha ha ! I was the good looking one . . . . .[H]
 18.
http://www.britishpathe.com/record.php?id=35644 I of course jest (as it wouldn''t work now) but this is rather brilliant to watch and listen to and watch.  Think my father might appreciate it mind, a different era.
Wow ! I wuz there !  So much noise, didn''t realise until I tried to speak to someone later on that I had completely lost my voice ! Cheers Andy
 19.
One of our best right backs along with Steeno.
I agree actually, the start of our decline was when he and Malky fell out with Worthy ! Broke up a credible defence.
 20. Oh dear this is difficult, No form to go by so will have to go for the fanciful reasons. [:^)] If the pundits are right then Norwich will be battling first place honours with Leeds, so, as when I back City I tend to put the mockers on them, so, I will transfer the evil eye to the Yorkshire lot just to give City a quick early season advantage [:D] I think Exeter will have a very tough baptism in this league and I fully expect them to get well beaten this week. LEEDS v Exeter HOME WIN ! Good luck Muddy you have a difficult task ahead of you !
 21. What a great gesture by the club, [:D] I hope it helps to give you the spirit to fight your horrible illness, doesn''t it just put the rest of the world into context ? Good luck to you mate !
 22.
So, now that this thread has been on here for a few hours, has anyone actually seen any evidence of this?
It has been mentioned several times on Radio Norfolk this morning . . . . . .
 23. I have to admit I have reservations about him, his positioning is wayward I feel, eg the nearpost goal he conceded saturday. I''ve got a feeling the youngsters will replace him by the end of the season !
 24. Good luck to the boy, I hope he survives this horrible disease !
 25.   I think he is worth a million but City would have to consider much lesser offers I fear. Perhaps if he built up his reputation with us and we did remarkably well until January then perhaps he would fetch more. Having said all that I would be gutted if he went for any figure. [:(]
