  1. He made a comment about the "soft underbelly of previous years being gone now". After our relatively easy defeats to Palace and Sunderland, not sure that''s quite true.
  2. So, how does everyone think we''ll do in the last four games and what will the final table be? Here are my result predictions.... Arsenal 4-0 Norwich Norwich 1-2 Man Utd Norwich 1-1 Watford Everton 2-0 Norwich Table: Sunderland ----- Newcastle Norwich Villa So yeah, not optimistic. Over to you guys.
  3. Do think Sunderland are more likely to pick something up against them than we are. They''re at home and they just have a bit more grit, like Newcastle.
  4. Think Sunderland could get a point or three here with Arsene under extreme pressure. Though Arsenal seem to perform better when under no pressure so hopefully that''ll mean they''ll get an easy win and a bunch of red cards in the last minute :-)
  5. One benefit of relegation will be giving a chance to the Murphy lads, Maddison etc.
  6. Certainly don''t WANT relegation to happen. That''s a fact. So let''s stick to that one too. Pompous c ock
  7. Also, yes we do have to deal in facts but where is the momentum right now, with only a few games left? It''s not in Norfolk that''s for sure.
  8. We''re a yoyo club. That''s all we''ll ever be unfortunately. At least until we get richer owners who have the money to properly invest. We can''t be surprised. Nor can the board. Didn''t invest enough and at the right time and on the right players.
  9. If you can''t beat Villa away.....Deserve relegation. No way we''d ever do what Newcastle did today. It''s just not in the make-up of this football club unfortunately.
  10. Makes it easier when you just accept the inevitable. Therefore today''s Liv/Newcastle game has no impact on my day :-)
  11. Can''t make out why we didn''t just loan Hooper out for the rest of the season instead of selling him. Just incase we go down. Now relegation looks likely, and with Lafferty probably on his way out, we''re left searching for 3 strikers in one window. Just poor from the club.
  12. Poor argument from you there, especially when the player has actually gone on to do good things in this league for another club. Also, the market has changed a bit. Lower leagues players are more expensive, meaning Premier League goalscorers are beyond us so the Afobe''s of this world are the types of players we should be looking at. Big miss.
  13. We bid 10m so must have really wanted him. I''m not saying it was simple but the money was there to spend. Just imagine if we''d bought Klose and Afobe in the summer. Not that easy I know but just imagine if we were prepared to actually pay the going rate for players. Just imagine.
  14. Nah should''ve signed him. His goals earned Borenemouth crucial points. The extra 2m is nothing compared to what we''ll lose out on. No guarantees he''d have performed here but you can say that about any player you sign.
  15. We could''ve had him for £12 in the summer apparently. Stopped our bidding at 10. Players will go to clubs that are prepared to pay the money 👍🏼
  16. With the benefit of hindsight, we should''ve put the Naismith fee and loan fee for Bamford towards getting in Afobe. Gifted him to Bournemouth though. I think Bamford was worth the punt. Hasn''t worked out for him and I don''t think it will until he gets a permanent move from Chelsea. Doesn''t seem the sort of lad that deals well with pressure. Too relaxed for me. Too laid back. Not enough grit. Still better than Ricky though.
  17. Haha does make me laugh how *certain* fans want to be seen as THE positive one. The one who looks down on other who dare to have an opinion that might be different to their opinion.
  18. Well a misery fest is not what I''m taking in. I just don''t think we''ll stay up and I''m allowed to say that 👍🏼
  19. Misery fest is a little harsh. Speaking for myself, I''m just calling it as I see it. It''s my opinion. Entitled to it. I think we will be relegated because we haven''t done enough this season. We have lost the majority of our key games. We''ve tried to tackle the league with (for the most part) players that for us relegated two seasons ago. That''s my opinion. If it''s not yours - fine. Not a misery fest though, is it?!
