1. Until he gets a permanent move and actually feels wanted, can''t see him recreating what he did at Boro.
2. Bloke can''t cut it. Doesn''t look as if he cares much either. Like you say, Palace saw his potential.
3. That''s why Bor has over 6,500 posts. Doesn''t go to games.
4. Heart says 2-1. Head says 1-2. Could go either way. Don''t think United will get top 4 so we can put final nail in that for them. Can''t call it. Martial could be the difference. Future best player in the world I reckon.
5. I''ve found that my negativity towards our potential relegation has just been jumped upon whenever I''ve voiced my opinion. Same with Twitter. You can barely say anything against the team/club without someone jumping down your throat, claiming their opinion is definitely the right one. However, I understand that differing views will cause this to happen, of course. I suppose I just wish that people could debate in a more measured way instead of using silly jibes and sarcasm to back up their points. Im not making myself out to be perfect by the way. Ive probably written some pathetic stuff on this forum over the years as a result of anger.
6. @Borkins - re keeping negativity to forums/social media rather than the ground. Yes that was mentioned too I believe. Totally agree. I think forums and social media are just there for venting more than anything.
7. Good on him, I say. Think he''s totally correct that fans should be allowed to express negative feeling towards our current situation on forums and social media, without being stopped or criticised by fans who are desperate to be seen as the positive one. Well said, Rob.
8. I think it''s different with the final. I think maybe BT and ITV. Not sure though.
9. Find it surprising the club didn''t plan for both eventualities and just allowed itself to be stumped when summer came.
10. Think I saw Everton''s Bill Kenwright in there for an £8m theft...
11. I blame Alex Neil for the crimes some of these men committed.
12. If we are relegated this season, I do put the blame largely at the boards door for poor recruitment and poor timing of our recruitment. It will be yet another avoidable relegation all over again, two in three years. Alex Neil has made mistakes this season but the board just didn''t back him last summer, and that''s where the problem lies.
13. Surely this thread is redundant now, considering the other thread showing about 90% of fans on here wanting AN to stay whatever league we''re in next season...
14. Really pleased that there is still so much support for AN. Remember how Ranieri was written off? Not saying we''ll win the PL anytime soon but things can change quickly in this game.
15. Alex Neil is 34 years old. He has already guided tiny (no disrespect) Hamilton into the Scottish Premier League and left them in a ridiculously high position. Alex Neil took over Norwich, who looked as if they were destined to rot in the Championship for a few years. Nobody knew who he was. Yet he dragged us up, and gave some/most/all of us our best day ever, as Norwich fans. Alex Neil was then (weirdly) not given much money or recruitment support by our club in the summer, in order for him to build a competitive squad at this level. Alex Neil has made many mistakes this season, no doubt about it, he''s 34, he''s never managed in this league before, it was always going to happen, but as of the 3rd May 2016, Alex Neil and Norwich City can still survive in the Premier League. It may look unlikely, we may well go down, but we have a 34 year old manager who has already achieved so much already and will likely achieve so much in the future, and lots of you are willing to give that up for Paul Lambert? For Nigel Pearson? For Steve Bruce? Etc? I find that stunning. Stunningly short sighted, and quite telling too. Get back in your cots!
16. Exactly. Breaking the rules has paid off for them massively. Good work by them this season, especially with all the injuries they suffered early on. Been without a few top players all season and still been really good. Not a fan of Eddie Howe, but well done to them.
17. I think, at 9.30pm on 11th May, if we are still in with a chance of staying up - we could well stay up. At the moment, it''s hard to make a case for us because of the underperforming season we''ve had and the fact that we can''t defend or score, but Alex Neil has shown that when he''s absolutely needed results, and I''m talking the second leg against Hibernian to gain promotion and Middlesbough at Wembley, he''s got those results. There''s no doubt that if we are relegated, we will fully deserve it. After all, it''s not down to hard luck when you''re relegated after a 38 game season. It''s because you didn''t do enough to stay up. However, whilst there''s still hope, and whilst Leicester City are still champions, I''m fairly sure anything is possible.
18.

As I''ve said before, I think we''ll go down, so the players I think will leave as a result of that are as follows: Whittaker, Lafferty, Klose, Naismith, Bassong, Ollson, Redmond, Mulumbu - I think all these players will have left the club by 1st September 2016. I think we''ll hold on to Tettey, Brady, Howson, Ruddy, Martin etc. Let''s hope we get the overhaul started early. The sooner we can assemble as largely new squad this summer, the better.
Do we really want a large overhaul by a manager whose transfer dealings so far verge on pathetic ? No doubt we will sign plenty from Scotland , already been linked with a striker from Hibs and Jamie Forrester from Celtic . Never known a manager to make so many signings and then fail to even play them , big question marks over Neil for me , under any other club owners he would of been sent packing back to the Scottish lower leagues by now .
In answer to your question - yes
19. Nobody played that well against Sunderland. Bennett''s fine, certainly would be a decent Championship player. Bassong is a repeat offender, whatever division he''s in. Awful player.
