Thirsty Lizard - I then a bit of empathy is called for, I am no fan of Hancock, but he’s heavily involved in trying to manage the biggest health crisis this country has seen in over 100 years, under immense pressure. I think it’s quite understandable that he didn’t quite manage the perfect response to a question about an extremely privileged group of footballers who in the main have inflated ego’s , not really a priority is it?

Just like many spoilt footballers and mainly ex-footballer spokesman , slamming Hancock for picking on footballers to cut their salaries, they continue to lack perspective. First Hancock just responded to a direct press question, he did not raise it, the manipulative, increasingly imbecilic journalists did and then exploited his answer. I am no fan of Hancock but the guy deserves a break, he has rather a lot on his plate currently. All these current and more particular past footballers are acting in a childish, playground way, “ boo he called me a name” . Yes in normal circumstances he could have said footballers and other privileged people should dig deep, but I for one let him off this, get on with focusing on what is important, not worrying about inflated ego’s

I am sick of hearing ex-footballers or managers saying we must finish the season regardless of when , because of the integrity of the game. What a load of complete bull, don’t think Football has held the integrity line so well this week. It really is not that important in the scheme of things, businesses and people have been put under huge strain because of this bloody virus, people are dying, football really is not that important. If we had to play Doncaster Rovers away next year on a cold and wet Tuesday night, I would take it, at least there would be a sign of normality ( probably for sure normality for us) . Pundits should stop being in denial !!!

In other words bullied off the ball !! Semantics it’s the same thing, physical strength - clearly I am not critical of these teams , most will survive in the League, it’s an observation of why we are where we are.

Generation47 - don’t disagree I don’t see any traditional bullies in this league, bully in this instance refers to a more robust style, adopting an aggressive press (United did this and made us look very inadequate) or just generally bigger and stronger (Burnley, Watford, Sheffield United). Hopefully second time around playing these teams we may have learnt, to perhaps throw in the odd long ball to turn the defence and force the press back!

I knew it instinctively but if you look at the detail it’s extremely stark. The vast majority of Norwich’s points this year have come against sides that like to play the passing game, and perhaps give us a little time. leicester 4 points newcastle 4 points Bournemouth 4 points Man city 3 points Tottenham/Arsenal 1 point each Total: 16 points at least 80% of our haul We simply don’t like a bully teams that hassle, full of big lumps, that knock us out of our game. Burnley, Watford, Brighton and all. Give us a footballing side and we more than hold our own. Doesn’t bode well for Saturday!!

Totally dominated, a team that was quiet frankly more like the bottom side than anybody else I have seen this season, missed chance after chance. Just not clinical enough, arrogant enough, ballsy enough in front of goal. Need to just shoot at times and if it comes off somebody’s **** and in fantastic. But honestly, absolutely no rub of the green either, not asking for luck just a little rub!!! ( so to speak). Difficult to give team anything but praise , played very well for 80% of the pitch. Teemu was as openly frustrated as any of us supporters at the end, he cares. This 0-0 was just painfully frustrating .

Get real look back and say who has been a better manager for us over the last 50 years? Be careful what you wish for and get a reality check!!!

We were 4 - 0 down the reaction was good and very supportive, easy to be really positive and vocal when you get a point (Leicester) or a win (Everton) - today was a deeper kind of support, not driven by the performance or result

It was good to see how well the city fans reacted today, despite disappointment they know the reality, and applauded positively for the effort. Unfortunately we were below par, almost as if a number of our players were in awe of the surroundings. ( which may well be the case given it would have been many of them first time playing there). But they kept trying without it coming off. The crowd were superb, we have a great club, all those armchair whingers, just go and support somebody else, there is a club not so far away who would suit you perfectly.

Oh yes there has been a fair bit of poor luck on the way in the last few weeks - pukki’s goal - the mayor on the bar - Tettey shot - today’s VAR etc etc etc we certainly haven’t had the rub we deserve

Having kicked the cat, punched the wall, sunk a bottle of wine, shouted at the Mrs, complained about the world being totally unjust I have eventually calmed down. Easy to walk past it but Tettey should be praised big time, not our most glamorous player, with a reputation for not being able to play more than one game in a week, he battled brilliantly on Boxing Day, and again today with very tired limbs he gave everything, hats off to him.

Agree - last year we were great but rode it a little, this year at times we are great, but no horse to ride at all
