1. If he has potential, sign him up and send him out on loan to a lower league team. A season or so out on loan and we''ll know what kind of prospect he is, and what his immediate future is, unless of course he''s already good enough.
2. Morecambe vs Shrewsbury, it was ok but I am hugely glad we''re not stuck in the lower echelons of the football pyramind system and having to resort to using some of the players that were on display.
3. 2-1, Surman to score his first goal for City, as will Chris Martin with his first League goal of the season.
4. Hugo Imao Svensson? wow, that''s an intriguing name... Unless of course the first two names are hyphenated to make a super first name:  Hugo-Imao Svensson.
5. Banana: Huckerby still attends Norwich games when he can, when was the last time Bellamy watched a Norwich game? I respect both players, but to say Huckerby stayed because the grass was greener is daft, he''s still here and (to the best of my knowledge) not taking a penny out of the Club nowadays.
6. I believe that the initial act of going into administration was where the penalty is applied, not per season. Stockport were in administration for something like 20 months and were only penalised when they entered administration.
7. For some reason my mind was initially drawn to Justin Fashanu as a foil for Holt when first contemplating the question. On reflection, I think I''d have to concur with the idea of Martin Peters, simply as I never got the chance to see him in action and it would have been an experience to see how he played, from the many reports I''ve heard and read.
8.
There seems to be a lot of experts on this subject! I suspect the magistrate will throw the book at Holt, Holt will bring it down neatly on his chest then volley it out of the window. I don''t know if Archant are trying to make a martyr of Grant Holt or criticise him; either way this is an everyday incident and not worth the drama. Holty did what we know him for last night and this little piece of private grief should be treated in the same way as that of any other private individual. Move on!
Agreed.
9. Not sure of Watford''s numbers, but doubt that they brought 100% of their allotted capacity, so that would also bring the total attendance down from 27,000. As stated earlier, there are well-documented factors involved, and 24,500 is not to be sniffed at.
10. OzBarclay: I deliberately didn''t mention my own AFL allegiances (my fiance and I stayed with her uncle in Perth a while back) but it appears that they''re nailed on favourites for the wooden spoon this year unless Lions comtinue to implode. Kids and (knackered and injury-prone) veterans do not make for a good squad apparently. Never mind, there''s always next year I guess for WCE''s. Adelaide are doing ok, albeit after a difficult few weeks where results were hard to comeby. How come not Port Adelaide? Is there much rivalry between the two clubs?  Back on topic: Hope you get to see the City game tonight, it sould be a "ripper"...
11. Beauseant: Don''t you think that the Club has played it''s part in the scenario as well though to an extent..? I actually think it''s been drummed up and made a big thing of to throw Watford''s plan off-kilter. Let''s review what we know/understand to have transpired: Up until this afternoon we (the supporters) and more importantly they (Watford FC) didn''t even know if Holt would be back in time, when City and Holt obviously have known for days that he''ll be here (Norwich). Archant, with their links to City''s hierarchy, may have been told to run the story as a red herring, or possibly they were drip-fed misinformation to create what I would agree to be pretty much a non-story. Of course no-one''ll openly admit to it, but in my opinion, Archant could be a fairly useful tool which the Club can use to manipulate and confused other Clubs planning via.     All in all, if it''s affected Watford''s planning in any way shape or form and plays it''s part in us getting a win tonight, I''d be happy to have non-stories like this every Friday/Saturday.
12. Quick question to the Aussie canaries: how are you all enjoing the AFL season? I''ve been following it closely for the last two years, and this years competition is hotting up quite nicely. Good to see Freemantle coming to the fore after a torrid season last year, but the obvious flag winners seem to be either Collingwood or Geelong. St Kilda have lost their way rather dramatically, and Western Bulldogs have left it late for their push. I predict a close and exciting finish, and Collingwood winning the Premiership title, and then the flag.
13. Middlesbrough are a good team going forward, but susceptible at the back. Also, I think I read somewhere that their keeper is being looked at by a Premiership team, so could have to rely on a back-up keeper, although I''m unsure who they actually have in that department.
14. Have joined both advertised leagues. There''ll be no big fanfare from me, just a modest attempt to win them.
15. CallsignViper: Are carry-in''s allowed? I have no knowledge to the contrary, just curious...
16. Beautifully poetic: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/i/ipswich_town/default.stm PS: If you''re wondering SAM, that''s a T-R-O-P-H-Y that Grant Holt is holding aloft, they''re given out at the end of season''s "when you done good". I simplified the language there for you as I can see you''re "special"...
17.
Nice to see some rivalry back in the season. I didn''t think I could look forward to the season ahead more.....then along came this Ipswich fan. Colchester tried the rivalry bit, but it wasn''t the same. Give me a chippy binner any day. Lambert vs. Keane......lovely!
Rudolph: Lambert vs. Keane - no competition, surely?
18.
Someone call the police, that man is stealing oxygen.
He''s also wanted for some burglaries in the area too, Police are hoping to identify him from the tongue-marks left on the patio windows...
19. Mid-morning shopping, maybe a swim at the local pool in the afternoon, my wonderful fiancee arriving at my house late evening, and maybe some decent football on Sky HD - not necessarily in that order.
20.

I think 12 goals is realistic in all competitions, but I am sticking with 8 in the league as I am not too sure about him
He''s out until October, won''t be fully match fit until December so I would expect 10 goals.
Sold in January....
And still with 10 Norwich goals - the guy''s Superman''s hero...
21. I am a banana: Just because you''ve never left Norwich doesn''t mean that others haven''t, and the appeal of supporting City does extend further than the Norfolk borders. [:|]
22. I would concur with Hoolahan, although a quick phonecall to the Varsity may save you a wasted journey if they choose not to. Details found at: http://www.varsitymanchester.co.uk/
23. Trent: so true, so true. October it is then...
