  1. I was there and this was very much my impression of the game, there honestly wasn't much between the two sides in the first half, we just had a defence that looked lost and they had all the confidence to turn half chances into goals but. I was surprised when marquinhos was subbed because I don't remember him even touching the ball, get rid.
  2. Mate I thought I needed my head examined driving down from Edinburgh for tomorrow night. Hope you have a great trip.
  3. Everyone blaming the wingers for not being up to much but from the stands at least the whole system looked wrong. Plan seemed to be to pass back to the defence and then a long ball up to ... Where? Rashica and Sargent never got a ball they could do anything with. Cantwell looked like the spark in the first half, vanished in the second and we were beaten by a team who know how to play this league.
  4. After my 3/10 comment the other week, have to say he's looked a man transformed tonight, bravo.
  5. That being said I was way up the other end for most of his flutters in the second half...
  6. This was a great win but jeeeeez Gunn gave the best 3/10 performance to keep a clean sheet I've seen for a long time. Really hope the zero against his name helps him get his confidence back though, we all know he's got some talent, just looked totally unable to assert himself on the game and his own defence.
  7. Stop feeding the troll folks. I work in health policy and the enormous, vast majority of actual health professionals are as jabbed as can be and advocating everybody else does likewise. Doctors are scientists and follow scientific evidence and advice. People who post anonymously in football forums aren't the people we should listen to when deciding whether to do the right thing.
  8. I meant to say when he first came in and for like three minutes, he settled in really quickly
  9. And honestly what did gilmour bring? He was the only player who looked over awed and didn't want to play in przemi which seemed to be the game plan. Least said about plm the better today, I really like him but no one in the squad wanted to give him the ball which tells us something.
  10. That's my point, he looked like he'd been given a set of instructions that weren't natural to him and he did everything asked of him and was still lungi. Superb performance, I'd love to see him in his 'natural' position
  11. Watching him off the ball he looked really nervous and like he needed to take his cues from the rest of the defensive line for where to line up but otherwise he was outstanding, and working out where you need to be is half the battle. He was outstanding, imagine before the game us lining up with lungi and kabak against man utd and feeling disappointed to concede one to a dodgy penalty? Magnificent.
