  1. I was a non league fan for most of my life,  and once we played MK Don's at home and forced a replay at their place in the 1st Round Proper. It was a great evening out and some extra,  much needed cash for the club. We lost 6-1 but that was expected. They beat a league side 6 nil a few weeks earlier.

So I agree,  it will hurt the smaller clubs

NB. It was Dele Ali's debut !!

That is so bad it looks corrupt. Hard to believe that the ref and Lino can’t see that .

    Eltringham . .

Apparently Stroud had a nightmare last night too in the Stoke game .

Yes the keeper had the ball and slipped and they scored but ruled out as a foul on the keeper. Shocking decision

  3. Thanks for all your comments. I didn't really plan to film but as things started well at the Queen I decided to go for it.

The thing with making videos at matches is I want to enjoy the match,  and not focus more on the film making. My cam is like a GoPro, it's a point and shoot Sony Action Cam. Bald and Bankrupt from YouTube also uses it. It's so good. No zoom, just a great wide angle lens for travelling.

I have seen some other people's matchday videos and they really put a lot of work into it,  but for me,  I wouldn't have enjoyed the game as much if I had concentrated on filming.

So over 1400 views which is satisfying. When I make videos of my travels I never want it to be a chore, and do it to share my travels and life with others. For me it's all about giving.

My aim was to capture the atmosphere  which was amazing; to get the goal too was icing on the cake.

    Enjoy the game tonight

I like watching these videos and seeing things from a different angle.

A word to the wise though. Calling the ground Carrot Road in the blurb people will be thinking you’re Jubwicks75 if you’re not careful 😀

Omg did I miss an auto correct on the edit??? Oh no !@

Only the back of my head, this video must be no more than 2/3 rows directly behind me !

I don't know anyone other than the fans near me. I think a few people probably wouldn't like their bald patches highlighted lol

It was a quick edit ( mind you no edit is that quick) and I always strive to do better.

First of all, this may not even be possible if Dusseldorf exercise their right to buy.

If it is possible for him to come back here, I feel a lot depends on who our head coach is. Wagner clearly didn't regard him very highly and I doubt if he would fit into a Wagner-style approach. A coach who works in a different way (e.g. more possession-based) might bring out the best in him.

On the small amount of time I have seen him play via YouTube,  he seems to be playing left wing and is similar to Sainz. Tzolis lived in the same block of apartments as Dimi and myself,  and I have chatted to him a few times. A very nice person who doesn't have an attitude and would fit in at Carrow. However we have Sainz and Onel at the moment so would he get game time?

I think all footballers just want to kick a ball and not sit watching,  so my guess is he is settled there and would prefer to continue in Germany

Let's go out there on Saturday & do them players, fans the atmosphere let's be horrible Norwich for the day!

I am not an English teacher,  but I don't understand this sentence. Do you mean :"Let's go to Norwich on Saturday and have a go (verbally), at THOSE players and fans, and make the atmosphere really horrible for Norwich "?

Looks as though ULTRA was started by Brazillian and Italian fans back in the 1950's. Don't think the binner ultra fans would stand much of a chance against one of the Milan teams Ultra groups.

Thank you for explaining it. Does seem to be a strange word to describe these people

If McKenna has his head screwed on he won't announce anything about the fitness of Moore, in which case we won't know until the teams are announced. That means Duffy has to start really with Gibbo. You can't play McLean there as Moore will just put himself up against McLean.

I hate watching Duffy and Gibbo playing out from the back.

Gibbo has improved a bit this season but his Indecision when on the ball encourages opposition to press him. He just hangs into the ball far too long and he then goes back to Gunn. Defending is his strength,  finding a pass forward, isn't.

i was disappointed that Wagner chose to do nothing in those last 10 minutes or so, I don't think anyone would've had any impact but I can't see what the hurt is. With Rowe and Hernandez out Welch is probably the best dribbler in the squad (bar Sainz who was on the pitch). He probably isn't ready for championship football week in week out, but at the end of the game when you're behind there's no harm in giving him a chance. Same goes for any player really.

I couldn't agree more. If a game is tight you would not bring on an academy player, but yesterday was again (like Rotherham) where Ken could have come on.

Knapper believes in bringing through the young lads? Really? So far there is no evidence of this.

Or finally give Aboh a run out.

I agree. As I hear he isn't encouraged to stay with us and hasn't signed a new contract. So as long as Sid is in front of him he will never get minutes on the pitch. At 60 minutes yesterday it was the ideal time to get Aboha on to show him we want him at the club,  but no,  we didn't rest Josh and we sure didn't show any commitment to Ken.

So I agree with others,  why did we sign Sid when we have our own youngsters needing game time?

Ken Aboha will leave just like all the good young players,  because we don't play them.

I do think today showed up our tactical naivety. Why defend against a team with a great attack but less good defence? Should have gone at them. For me the return of Sarge took spotlight of the manager and saved his blushes - but today showed it didn’t improve him in terms of subs and tactics. Though, to be fair, our bench offers little by way of match changing promise…

For Christ's sake give him some credit

  13. The way I see it we deserve to be 6th on our 2024 performances and if we finish 6th or 7th I would consider that to be about right overall.

We didn't do Ipswich any favours today,  and if we beat them and they drop points today ( they are losing as I right) then we ought to be happy.

This season we have had a lot of injuries and DW has taken half a season to work out how to get the best out of the lads.

Another season rebuilding seems right to me. Fluke going up and we will get hammered every week.

So overall I think another season at championship level is likely and acceptable.... and no VAR
