There are some very good players in the squad. They are just not set up and coached well enough.

Howe has done a cracking job to date but he will only take Newcastle so far.
Their biggest problem will be persuading the very best managers and players to go and live up there.

Looked like men against boys today.

Bit of passion and aggression. It’s been sorely missing at times this season. Good to see it being shown.

Can we have Pisswich on the telly ever Saturday lunchtime?
-
I’m guessing Leeds is ‘just another game’ too

Had Pisswich won last week they would have been on here in droves.
As it is, 14 years and counting and even in my 60 years, that's nearly a quarter of my lifetime. 😁

That's the message they're using.
Interesting that Bayern Munich has just said an emphatic "no"
This is all very peculiar. Did they really go into this without one of the biggest clubs in Europe?
Man Utd have been much more measured in their response. They remain committed to English football. Boll**ks
As it stands Man Utd might not qualify. They are sh*te! 😉

Its inevitable that the biggest clubs will gain control of TV rights and take the cash for themselves. Maybe then football will become more competitive.

One thing was for certain. The scummers set up to defend set pieces was some of the worst I have ever seen.
The idea that by having two or three players staring into Duffy's eyes that would put him off was laughable. At least once I thought VAR would have given us a penalty if that was the EPL.

The internet - a place where people behave like they never would in public life. Its just another example of the human race sliding into decline and ulitmately oblivion.

The Championship is generally more entertaining than the EPL and surely that is what football should be about.

We lack two players in important positions imho. We don’t have a play maker who can do something out of the ordinary (tho Sainz shows some promising signs) and we are still without a CDM. We all saw what a difference Skipp made last time.
I think if we sorted those we could be a significant force. -
Hilarious. Seems to have done a lot of whining for what was ‘just another game’ they didn’t win.

Farke was given time in his very first season where many on here wanted him gone. Even in his second season i don't think we had a spectacular start.

Hard work and trying to change things has made the difference plus players returning from injury.
Doubt he comes on here to take advice somehow!!!

If only some supporters got behind the team rather than wasting energy moaning and whingeing all the time.
Football is not as exciting to watch but our last 7 games have we not won 4 drawn 2 and lost 1? Seems decent form to me.
We are lacking that one creative spark probably in the number 10 role and with Hanley, Gibson and Sarge still to return. -
Still young and lots to learn. But 11 goals in a stuttering team as this point of the season is exceptional.

Rashica and Tzolis are decent players as other clubs are finding out. Farke didn't know how to get the best out of them.

Leeds fans moaning that Farke doesn’t have a plan B tonight.
Sounds familiar.- 1

This draw will feel like a loss to them as they had all convinced themselves they were going to smash us (as I had). This was their best opportunity in a long time to put one over us and they’ve blown it - again- how awful!
Exactly. Celebrating them not winning despite everything being in their favour.
wasn’t overly impressed by them either. I will be surprised if they get promoted. Leeds next week and then Leicester is a massive test of their credentials. -
15 years and counting. 😁

Best manager in the Championship but probably worst manager in the EPL. If Farke was still here now I suspect we would be lower than we are now and less competitive. Every manager runs out of ideas and has a limited shelf life. And every opposition manager eventually works out the manager who does the same thing over and over.

Just now, Petriix said:Farke's Premier League record is irrelevant because he never had a Premier League squad to work with.
And that has not changed since. And probably never will now unless Attanasio digs very very deep into his pockets.
So why would any club carry on trying the same thing over and over and be surprised when the result is still the same?

Just not true. Football is and always has been a team game.
A manager’s job is to make the most effective use of the players in the squad. Wagner fails to do that most of the time.
Gunn, Hanley, Dimi, McLean, Nunez, Sara, Rowe, Sarge, Sainz.
All very good players for this level. A few more who just need better coaching and development.
