Whether tennis is your thing or not, it is a truly magnificent achievement. In that heat, that pressure, on your own for over 3 hours, is something that any sports fan can only admire. So chuffed for the guy. Not media savvy, but that''s one reason why he has achieved what he has. Inspirational.

I think everyone needs to calm down a little. I know the guy, he comes from Norfolk so has a genuine interest in the club. As with any journalist, he tries to keep his ear to the ground and passes in the rumours he hears. It does not mean they will all bear fruit. While im at, people blaming twitter for rumours is ridiculous. It''s a media platform, it''s people that make up the rumours, not the handset / desktop. Yes, we live in a world where more information is available, especially if you seek it out. After all this is a social media message board, just another means of communication. I really don''t understand why people get so upset at rumours and slag people off when they choose not to provide a source or blame them for the quality of source. Rumours are just that... Rumours! If you can''t handle the fact that most are probably rubbish, then don''t come on here or twitter. I for one, find this part of the season fun and exciting, especially seeing how some people get so wound up about it! It''s only football transfer rumours.

Well said indeed. I''m disappointed there were no further signings, but at the end of the day, McNally knows far more than I do about budgets, negotiations and the talent of our targets so if he''s happy to leave as it is, given all circumstances, then so am I. Not been a bad 4 years , OTBC!!!

Given the rumour says we are discussing wages with hooper, this would imply that the 2 clubs have agreed a fee. Would it not?

I don''t know. I''m sure there are lots of people on this board that know far more than me about how a club is run. Perhaps part of the agreement is that PL would be allowed to tie up contracts etc, before they announce it. I honestly don''t know & I hope i lose my £100!

Lambert is Going. Im really sorry to say this & check my previous posts if you like, never before have I had a source or anything. But I do. Funnily enough I actually posed the exact same question to someone very important at the footbal club in the last week. Who would you prefer to walk out on the club tomorrow if you had the choice, McNally or Lambert? McNally was the answer. (But having said that, they did say that both were fantastic for the football club & in no way did they want either to leave!)

Just wondered if anyone knew the reason why it seems that every match day schedule it is always the top 4 or so teams that are all home one week & all away next week? Going back the past few months I seem to recolect that us, Leeds, Charlton & Colchester are always home or way at the same time.
