  1. Forest are really underachieving. They definitely have enough quality to cause us problems though, especially up top. Lolley will be trying his luck from distance to test McGovern, I'm sure. And he can hit them.
  2. I thought his positioning for the goal was questionable. He seem to drift to quickly to the back post. Letting a striker between you as a pair of centre half's is never great, but in their defence, that ball from Reach was a absolute peach. From a defensive point of view, your probably thinking Reach is going to head to the byline before crossing.. It was whipped in from deep and early, which caught the centre backs off guard. It was a great goal tbf. Perfectly placed in the 'corridor of uncertainty' to quote a famous ex Sky pundit!
  3. Absolutely has a point though. Never known someone take pleasure at criticising their fellow fans, what's that all about!? You seem motivated to package it up that opinionated and irrational comments from emotive fans is exclusive to Norwich City. Strange really.
  4. Absolutely. Mario is very intelligent footballer. Pukki, Buendia and Hernandez were so profitable last time in the championship because of Mario's football intelligence and technical ability to play perfectly weighted and precise forward balls. He really is a special player. Yes there are flaws, but there nearly always are with gifted individuals. I love his style, and love watching him play. Proper baller.
  5. But on balance, the pro's outweigh the cons, as nearly always with Mario. Anyway, Mario was having a fine game before his two assists. He's an absolute baller for us, and continues to prove so many wrong.
  6. No other player in our squad can change a game like he can, not even Buendia. Mario is so effective and influential for us, he's proved this on many occasions. It's his shirt to lose, I wouldn't bet against seeing him keep it for a while.
  7. So it's completely unheard of that a team puts in a reaction after a poor performance? 1,000 fans, yeah of course it could. It's generally a postive thing to have fans supporting you. In any case, neither are excuses as you put it.
  8. Agreed.. Factor in Luton needing a responce from their last result, and some home fans returning, it was a bit of perfect storm tonight. I think Rupp is just as key too.
  9. I'd have just stuck Zimm up top tbh, just lump it to him.
  10. Rupp's a huge loss isnt he. Him and Skipp we're forming a strong partnership. I can't believe we're still having to rely on Tettey.. Vrancic has to start ahead of him surely.
  11. Ok, very ugly! We could collapse and concede another few at this rate.
  12. Dreadful, but not unexpected. Losing Pukki, Rupp and Krul has destroyed our rhythm. Still in this though.
  13. Really frustrating result. Full squad, we take three points today - but really can't grumble at one given the circumstances. Had it been a last minute goal to grab an equaliser the mood would have been much better. Still, that's 7 points dropped at home in games we should have won (Cov, Derby, Millwall). We did that a bit two seasons ago too. Thankfully our Away form is just as good. Hopefully Max is OK, and with a bit of luck is fit for Luton along with Rupp and Pukki plus Buendia. Ten unbeaten is a great return.
  14. Must have missed that then. The last news I read was that he trained all week and was ready to come back into the squad today.
  15. Great display, turning into a fantastic captain too.
  16. New striker takes time to settle... shocker. He's proven to score goals at this level, he just needs to find form. Which he will.
  17. Farke isn't playing him and there's no injury. He doesn't fancy him, that's the bottom line.
  18. What's all the fuss about with Cantwell? Farke doesn't fancy him at the moment, and I for one agree. He has better options currently, and utilising them to good effect, as demonstrated by our recent form. This obsession with Cantwell is well over the top. He's a decent championship player that currently isn't good enough to get into an on form championship side. Leave it at that?
  19. That's my argument when supporting the likes of Vrancic and Steipermann ahead of players such as Cantwell. At this level, they deliver goals and assists regularly, and can change games.
