Can we trust Zoe
Creedence Clearwater Couto replied to MC_NCFC's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I mean, people can defend it and look for all the positives they want, but ultimately, having any connections to Webber isn’t great PR, let alone having a director married to the prat. It’s always been my belief, Stuart’s influence, not matter how small, will always be present whilst Zoe is at the club. Nowhere else would this PR ****show happen! -

Not according to people closer than us. Sargent will end up on at least 20 goals this season and missed nearly half of it. His goals per minute ratio is currently 1 every 91 minutes. It’s exceptional. Look at how effective he is when he players, ie our win ratio with and without him. Also exceptional. And he’s only 23. Name me another striker similar in style to Sargent? There aren’t any, he’ll be in high demand. £30 million is not far off. Sara is EPL bound for sure. His form recently has been exceptional and he’s a naturally gifted footballer. Finish the season at his current rate, and he’ll well have surpassed the goals and assists Emi produced in 20-21. Emi went for £33million… £30 million is also not far off for Sara. Before you discredit with ‘no chance’ do a bit of research and look at the tangibles. Both players are worth top money. -

Rowe 20 million… Sainz 15 million… Sara £30 million.. Sargent £30 million… just under, but we should be holding out for those sort of valuations, IMO. -

Can sadly see those players all leaving if we are still in the champs. But who’d have thought we’d have £100 million in value on 4 players a few months back.. -

Again, may still help them next season. And maybe us. -

Which will help Ipswich, if they go up with Leicester. -
New stadium at Anglia Square?
Creedence Clearwater Couto replied to Thingy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Brentford managed to build on a postage stamp with significant physical constraints. Only 17,500 capacity mind, but it is doable. However, if Norwich were looking at a new stadium, it would have plenty more suitable locations. -

Players haven’t gone ‘soft.’ The game has gone soft, and driven a step change in player attitudes and behaviour. -
Evertons new stadium

Really nice looking stadium and position is unique and adds character. Can't imagine easy to get to, although I'm sure transport connectivity has been considered. -

I’d love to see him play in the EPL for Norwich! Make it happen lads!! -

My narrative is McLean is a decent Championship player and not at the level required for the EPL. No surprise, he’s been part of a side that gets promoted from the Champs, being a decent player. I don’t get your point, sorry? -

It was a very bold prediction. But we’ve been here before, haven’t we?! Essentially I recognised the importance of the Sargent and Barnes fulcrum, and the more pertinent point overarching my prediction (which was extreme to get the point across), was that the wheels would fall off and it would be a catastrophic collapse in form. I was proved right, ultimately, and confirmed by your petulance ignoring me during the poor run. Fortunately for us, as Norwich fans, it wasn’t as bad as my prediction. But take away the wins at Bristol City and Cardiff and it would’ve been. My judgement has been further enhanced by the form since the pair returned to fitness too. I could see how critical S&B were, most, including you couldn’t. But certainly do now. Anyway… hopefully that one’s done. But if anyone doesn’t want to continue being ‘kind’ to me and call me out forever and more, feel free. Really childish mate 😂 Anyway back on topic. “Funny how Farke came in for McLean and not Nunez.” What are your trying to prove with that statement? Farke clearly came in for McLean because he rates him for the Championship and knows he very well having managed him for 3.5 season. Awful ‘evidence’ to prove your view McLean is a better player than Nunez. As a Championship side, we’re fortunate to have both though, aren’t we. -

More than decent championship players usually get snapped up by EPL clubs…. And yet here he is. Which is a nice thing of course. I know you love Mclean, or rather the controversy of doing so, but ‘anyone’ who watches football can see Nunez is a more talented player. -

I think the issue with McLean is that he’s a bit of a Jack of all trades and master of none. He’s never made the step up to the EPL, and in all honestly is a player we should’ve outgrown and replaced upon promotion. The fact he stayed and played, pretty much summed up the issue we had recruiting players. None of the above is his fault of course, and he always continues to give his all. At Championship level, he’s decent. But even so, take Sara or Nunez away; and he doesn’t look half the player, even at this level. -
Wouldn't it be nice if...
Creedence Clearwater Couto replied to littleyellowbirdie's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It’s going to be interesting if we play them. I think our key players in Sarge, Sara, Sainz and Rowe are pound 4 pound better than theirs, but their squad has far more quality in depth. I still wouldn’t fancy us against them, especially over two legs, but I’m a pessimist! -
Selfless Sainz

Tbh.. between the pair of them they nearly messed it right up!! Sarge has previous in front of that goal too! -

Yeah for sure, not impossible for 3rd place to miss out on 100 pts. How absolutely awful would that be if it happened to Ipswich 🙈 -
