Have i misread it or is he saying he had look round the place once before but now it's good enough? Perhaps the rehab facilities are better now.

a mid-table side like Brentford where he could play regularly and develop would probably be a good choice.
Sums up our disastrous journey

If you want to see where rock fans really rock look at iconsfestival.co.uk They will need more than two weeks to recover!

Embarrassing cowardice of the club to hide behind a cosy closed door "interview". Utter arrogance to condemn anyone (including people who actually played, managed or owned at premier league level) who dares to criticise or urge a change in direction.
Presumably, the only people they will have to face are the shareholders and that will hardly be a gig with tough and perceptive questions to answer.
Most embarrassing and insulting was the command that if you don't like it, there's the door. It's not the fans who need to be shown the door.

Mr Webber is an employee of the club. If he is refusing or declining to speak to the media it is with the support of the owners of the club. To my mind it is dictatorial to pump out propaganda through your own media channels and refuse to be questioned on what you say. A bit.....if I may say so....reminiscent of what is happening in Eastern Europe.

Pukki and Krul were humiliated this season and took it on the chin. why would they want more of that

are we really sitting here saying "let's give Delia and whatever his name is another go, and if they need us to pay to tarmac the car park we will chip in"? If so, we have lost our club. its a joke.
What, now? Does this even make sense?
if you don't see the point, you will be chipping in. Bank details to NCFC -

being obsessed with a billionaire is nonsense. A simple clear out of vacuous "we are the supporters' owners" would be enough. Its been a bloody disaster and the fans have had enough of being owned by a minor celebrity who is going to be even more minor i would say
-
Why be nasty about the other clubs? Be nasty about our own! We are an utter embarrassment. Nicking parachute payments and tolerating a regime that says that the previous regime pissed it up against the wall.
-
How the hell has a club with this history in the premier league been so embarrassed? Its utter, utter incompetence with any possible suitor being told "it's ours , go away." How is that socialist?

What is over? Same owners. Appalling record with a club that has an amazing history of being in the premier league so may times. The city and county has a right to tell them to **** off. They have an appalling self righteous attitude to the media, which at least tries to represent the fans- who funded the only positive thing that has come out of their tenure- these owners have a feudal attitude towards season ticket holders and supporters. They are the absolute antithesis of a family club.

He said that the previous regime ****** up the wall the proceeds of promotion. It seems to me that the proceeds of promotion were subsequently defecated down the pan. It's no wonder that those in the know in the PL are asking "who is this guy?"
-
Really that desperate to hold on to an ageing player on that sort of money who- if Norwich were promoted again- would be older and unlikely to score more than this season in the Premier League? We are looking at a complete rebuild- those who didn't succeed this season are hardly likely to do so in a couple of years if it turns out they are capable of getting us up next season. Frankly, they have little chance of delivering and without departures we are going to be in the Championship for a while.

Very weird to write Smith off based on 2/3rds of a season with an undermanned, confidence lacking squad of players not bought for his style of play.
Spot on. He's been handed a load of dross.
-
So many words! To summarise them: the players we bought are crap.

Go up champions, go down bottom. Great model that.
-
Embarrassing for club, city and county. Champions turned chumps.
-
Funny old deluded life to lead, being the very last apologist. The rest of us are thoroughly embarrassed for club and city.

Bring on the Super League officially. It's already here in all but name. Who would care if they broke away?

Unfortunately any "God complex" was created by fans and the club. Daniel Farke came across as professional, respectful, and diplomatic and anything but a celebrity. If his success under challenging constraints is ignored, that will be the disgrace.

Billy Bingham managed Mansfield Town. I was a kid reporter, couldn't afford a car. Went by bus to interview him in late May and it hurled down with snow, which clearly was weird but very much Mansfield. I stood at the bus stop looking totally miserable and a guy stopped and drove me to Nottingham. It was Billy Bingham. He was a brilliant coach and an outstanding man.
