  1. Your intellectual prowess gives a strong impression of man who is out standing in his field.
  2. Great idea. I'll let you get right on that. And, while you're at the store, could you pick me up a couple of new air bubbles for my spirit level? Next.
  3. Funny how you added it in. But since you brought it up, I'm not sure it's a sound point to stand on considering Farke and Smith both struggled in the Premier League. Farke has a 12% win rate in the Premier League, while Smith has 28%. Farke's goal difference is -70, while Smiths is -66 Farke has seen NCFC relegated twice. Smith once. So are you saying that Smith is twice as good? Because to me he looks just as bad. With that said, I'll take classy, stylish and a solid belief in a style of play, thank you very much.
  4. It's been almost a year.........DF may not have been good enough to coach in the Prem, but he was learning and I truly enjoyed watching NCFC play under him, win, lose or draw. DF brought, class, style and a belief that, given the right tools, we could make something of it. Smith seems to smile, drink his tea and wait for his fat check at the exit interview. As the image says. I feel as many others do that we have been more holding it together and getting bye, than building cohesion and momentum as a team. I recognize that teams require time to gel, but we're coming up to 15 games in and it feels as though we are lost as a team. Yes the talent in there, but it's like the players are playing in different languages. And no, I don't think it has anything to do with not having a left-back, or a soft middle field, or Pukki not getting service while Sargent is out wide. I think it has everything to do with how they're being coached. My feeling is we've seen NCFC at it's best this season. Strap in for an off-road experience with no suspension.
  5. This. People talk about formations, but formations are only an idea that shapes the play. Fluidity in form is the ideal.
  6. In one way I would have to disagree here. Given how much money is on the line with winning and losing in the PL, and the refs being unable to keep up with the speed of the game, VAR is an extremely valuable tool for refs to call upon. Unfortunately, as Lakey has mentioned earlier in this thread and many others previously, it is simply being applied in the worst possible way. For that reason I would actually agree with your post.
  7. II bet Mrs. Hanley is very impressed with Hanley's b0llocks today...😂
  8. It’s called business and you are clearly demonstrating that you’re incapable of making the decisions needed to run one. Side Note: That’s probably why you’re on here so much venting your frustrations with the outcome of your own life into everyone else’s threads. Stay in your lane drummer boy. NCFC is a business that wants to make money and balance the books. Why not sell Pukki? He’s 32 and past his best. We’re going to slowly watch him decline and disappear from the bench. He might bag a few, enough to keep the fantastic memories alive, but admit it, super sub is his future. There are a number of younger strikers in the side chomping at the bit. Why not sell him to a team offering good money? Not sure where you got ‘pittance’ from since this entire thread was started with ‘supposedly’ and no amount of money has been mentioned. But you keep running with your trumped up assumptions drummer boy. Honestly your stupidly is only entertaining for so long, then it just becomes embarrassing for you.
  9. No. It’s called business. Honestly, get real.
  10. Last season has nothing to do with this season. Move on. It always makes me laugh when people try and pivot so quickly in the hopes that others can’t keep up. Flip-flopping like a fair weather fan. But, you still give the club your money and that buys you the right to share your distorted opinion of how the club should be run. I want Pep! I want a better sporting director. I want a better owner. I want better players. I want someone who does the things exactly how I want them done. Sounds like maybe you should go and drop £750MM of YOUR OWN MONEY and get the club where you want it to be. Easy, right? Then you’d have to deal with the reputation of being the next Chelsea or a Man City. No matter, NCFC would be winning, right? But, you’d still find something to complain about. Poor form, Buh. Very poor form. The problem with moaners and pant wetters is that they rarely think things through in reality. They simply complain because the moment isn’t favorable. As for the negativity, I’ve heard you share nothing other. If I were that driven to show you how tainted your view of the club is, because people with more money and more know-how aren’t doing it the way you like, then I would go back through your posts. It wouldn’t take long. You do nothing but complain. But one thing I have learned, there’s no point in trying to make a point to someone who only sees their own point. And, the sad thing is, when something positive does happen, all you can do is muster the, ‘just wait for it to all go wrong’ card. As I said before, you seem to carry a perspective built around a negatively self-fulfilling prophecy in your posts. EVERYONE OUT UNTIL I’M HAPPY! Someone else acting very much like that and he nearly broke democracy.
  11. Fraud not. I drive a BMW 750Li with the sports package…😉
  12. Oh how wonderfully vague your response is. Typical sound-bites that reflect no real grounded thought. How easy it must be for you to be dissatisfied when you don’t have the best of everything. And yes, you are allowed your opinion, and even better, you’re allowed to share it. But then be ready for others to share their opinion, about your opinion. News flash…It’s not YOUR club. Let the reality of that sink in. You don’t have a say in anything that happens. YOU are a spectator, a support, a fan. You are someone who follows a sports team under the guise of being a fan, but yet complain at every opportunity available, with the overtone that you know best. Strange thing is, as I mentioned above, you still go to the games and give the club your money. I guess you feel that you are buying your right to complain? Funny, because that’s about as smart as not liking a restaurant owner, it’s chef and the food made, but still going, paying for the food, only to complain afterwards. Can you honestly not see how senseless that is? And, a Volvo XC90 T6 is a nice upper-mid range car. The safety features are A1. Don’t knock it ‘til you drive it.
  13. I was one of the few who agreed with those and said Sergant would come good in the champs. Climb yourself out of you’re own hole on that one. Pure Speculation: ”We lose a succession of games he’ll urge us to stay calm while we finish mid table and wait for him to lose to Ipswich.” Case and point; You’re working to build yourself a self-fulfilling prophecy. And, when this doesn’t happen, you’ll move on to your next sensationalized point; Webber out, Delia out, Americans are ruining the game, blah, blah, buh. You’re merry-go-round of negative talking points, which are entertaining to a degree, do gradually make you sound like someone who simply likes to complain about things in general. I guess the question is, Buh, what exactly do you want, or are expecting from NCFC? Mid-table premier mediocrity? Champions leagues group qualifiers? F.A. Cup final?Having a shot at winning it all? Listen, Norwich City FC is (at best) a Volvo XC90 - safe & comfortable with a few luxuries. Mid table Premier League is a BMW 750Li - luxurious and a smooth ride which hands the bumps in the road well. Champions League qualification is a Maserati Ghibli - sporty with good control; always in the rear view mirror. Top two Premier League is an Aston Martin Vantage - pure class. Are you beginning to see the bigger picture? Unless an uber-rich, care-free spending owner comes in, then NCFC is what it is. Your run around like the Queen of Hearts yelling ‘off with his head’ and wishing others to stump millions upon millions of their money, to make you happy. But hey, each to their own. And, for someone who views the running of the club with as much disdain as you do, I’m very surprised that you actually attend games and give the club your money. So do you attend games so you can **** and moan at the players to their faces and yell at Dean and Webber to get out of ‘your’ club? Or do you behave yourself in the stadium and then come on here to unload your deeper frustration?
  14. Of how perfect. A comment such as this implies that you think NCFC have had a good a start to the season, which would run counter to pretty much every comment you've made so far about the team's start thus far. This is exactly what I'm referring to when I identified how you justify your speculation with half-baked assumptions. You're simply sensationalizing the negativity, and flip-flop when you're called out. Again, all the qualities and intellect of a struggling tv pundit looking to boost their ratings. But hey, we all get our kicks somehow.... 😉 And weren't you the one screaming yehaw, kick it for a touch down 3-pointer, sports bar, about Sargent? Another poor, speculative cry in the wilderness for attention. Enjoy the humble pie.
  15. I enjoy listening to how you justify your speculation with half-baked assumptions. You demonstrate all of the same qualities as a has-been tv pundit, which, along with your 'what ifs' and 'imaginings', do bring a smile. Thanks for that.
  16. This! But alas, haters gonna hate and pant wetters gonna be wet. The strange things to me is, haters and wetters always have to blame someone else for hating or being wet. Same with moaners……
  17. There’s nothing to lighten up about. It’s simply an example of lacking in class.
  18. Oh yay, word games! And if we were to one day make a statue of King Smith, he would be cast in tunc. Your turn.
  19. Riiiight. But even if Dean Smith was on the forum, you thinking tells you that such a comment is okay?
  20. Poor. You might not like his style of football, but there’s no need for this.
  21. Also, I read of the website that the subscription coverage starts Sept 1st.
  22. I’d be happy just to listen to the audio. I can’t even find that.
  23. I think he'll come good. He was always set up for failure to come from America and expect to perform in the Premier League. My money is on him finding his feet in the Championship and doing very well for us. Whether he'll develop into a Premier League striker is probably too big of an ask.
  24. I vote that there should be a statue of Fab placed outside the stadium.
