Just read this on line: The last time they (Norwich) lost a derby the iPad hadn’t been launched, Harry Kane had never played a game of professional football and Ed Sheeran was about to start college. What ever the result today we have had a great run over them and who knows, it may continue a bit longer yet. THE PRESSURE IS ALL ON THEM

I'll be watching and wish I was there today as I have been many times. Portaloo rd is a great place to win. B0ll0(ks to the bin dippers and bring on the derby. They are very nervous about this game and we have every thing to play for. OTBC

Tonight’s Attendance
East Rider replied to Midlands Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The concourse at half time was virtually empty compared to usual. Didn't have to queue for a thing. There is no question taking would have been down last night. -
Barnes getting a bit of stick
East Rider replied to Satriales's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The support has been very poor at CR for a while (since the drummer disappeared at least) and in general that is down to a number of factors not least our poor performances (despite the recent upturn). It was the snakepit which led the support last night and the general apathy is huge, a real issue now, which is a shame. However, if the powers that be could perhaps bring back the flags and allow another, or the drummer in I suspect with our upturn and the likes of Rowe and Sainz performing better/well it would uplift it immensely. CR when devoid of support is a cold venue -
Tonight’s Attendance
East Rider replied to Midlands Yellow's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
As far as I'm aware the total seating capacity when the segregation line is placed in, is approx. 27,200. The club have also counted the season tickets sold in the attendance for some time. Hence the howls of laughter at times when the attendance is announced at the game (except the last two home games for obvious reasons). The real attendance last night was considerably lower than the announced one after the game. -
My observation exactly. We certainly 'dropped off' at times but it never really felt Wednesday were going to get back into it. We also took off arguably our 4 best players with 15-20 minutes to go.

Only one loss in our last six matches

If he gets us in the top six by the new year I suspect he isn't going anywhere -
Think we missed two or perhaps three sitters from where I was sat.

About right in my opinion possibly 21-22k max. Infact, just before kickoff there were so many empty seats as supporters entered very late, It was quite clear what people thought. -
Crikey. What kind of individual plays football with a gun strapped to his waist? Probably the keeper, they're all mad...

I heard something went on, didn't realise it was so serious. Disgraceful behaviour.

It's as tinpot as tinpottyness can get but lest be honest here. They are desperate for a result against us and desperate times call for desperate measures. Sad as hell, but there you go. I also suspect the reason for it may backfire badly, forge a siege mentality with our lot and therefore probably end embarrassingly for them.

Whilst I admire your green and yellow view point, I completely disagree with this. They have only lost two league games out of 20 so far this season and have the second best goal difference in the league. Their results over the 20 games in fact 100% says they are as good as it states (despite you, me and many others wishing it wasn't the case) and they have swept away, by one means or another, better teams than us already this campaign. Will this mean they easily win the game next weekend against us? Not so sure. Wagner is in no doubt we are unhappy with him and whilst their manager will probably just say it's only another game, I suspect he will have a different view on it. Especially if it keeps him in a job. Also, if the suggestion is true that they are going to 'welcome' our team coach, then I hope it happens as that if nothing else will galvanise our team and support. Finally, the pressure is entirely and squarely on them. If we have learned anything over the last 20 years regarding itfc, it is that they do not cope well when the real pressure games are on!

My apologies Thirsty Lizard, just seen you have started a similar thread. -
Another Trip Down Memory Lane.

It was. Loved those games. Not so much the toilets out the back. Often if we couldn't get in the Barclay as it was full, we would pay to get in the away section then ask to be allowed through via the gate. Happy days -

Lets hope the reverse is true mid December. Could be carnage -
Exactly. One of my favourite groups and unfortunately he will be remembered for the 'Fairy tail of NY' which was far, far from his and their best work/music. Saw them live in the mid 80s. Outrageously good concert.

Kieran Dowell looking to leave Rangers
East Rider replied to norfolkngood's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
That outrageous tackle was obviously committed by the Aberdeen number 19. You can clearly see him 'blowing' towards Todd when he dribbles past him at the exact moment he dives falls over. Fric(in disgustin behaviour by the team in red ! -

There are some strange folk following and providing support on line for the Binners. Do they represent the general supporter base and feelings of the average fan down there these days? -
Glad we won 2nd game in a row, and that is the first clean sheet in 8 games with 16 against. However, what a poor home game against a poor QPR team. Vast majority of the game played in our half and rode our luck quite a bit. All a bit ho hum
