  1. Looks like he fell from the tree of life into a bush of sadness....
  2. That is classic scapegoating unfortunately. He made a mistake then rectified it with seriously good play. Which part is highlighted first though? KM is he type of player we will miss when gone from here. Sara makes a number of mistakes a game but generally plays well and is part of our more successful endeavours, yet he is seldom picked out by posters. There is absolutely no question some supporters miss what he brings. He may not be the top PL player we would like however, we are not in the PL and as said each of his managers consistently pick him for their teams. There is a reason for that.
  3. You say it's a silly point to make then reiterate my point. He is not 'crap', and calling him that is the issue for me (and others by the look of it) It is nasty and disrespectful towards one of our players who may not quite be up to the level we need right now, but given time here or else where could be a real asset.
  4. He is certainly not crap. Just to get to this level in football means he must be quite talented and had obviously worked very hard to do so. Seeing posters write off a young player just because he is not 100% ready for the first team is frankly poor especially with some of the disgusting comments.
  5. He was touched on his toe, then held his ankle in what looked like agony, giving the ref the choice to book for diving or a penalty. He took the easy option. A clear dive
  6. Probably yes. I suspect the general low level of home support did not fulfil the financial requirement to run the club.
  7. I too remember that time well. Wasn't at that particular game but clearly remember the coin throwing, and other matters at many games. Also remember well the netting set up to stop it. City fans were certainly no saints back then but they definitely had an edge and would generally make their feelings well known if they were not happy. The season we went up under Worthy and the next season in the PL were probably the best 'season long' atmospheres at CR and it was all seating. So what do I know
  8. I can see that happening yes. Maidstone at home is probably the draw most Champs/L1 would have wanted I suspect
  9. Let's be honest here. If we get past Bristol Rovers, Liverpool will field a side so young they'll not only need signed parental permission to do so, the parents will probably have to be sat in the dug out as well. Oh and commiserations to Maidstone Utd. After all that effort only to be unfortunately drawn against the binners must be a real disappointment. Especially as they have to play at portaloo rd.
  10. Just for sh)ts and giggles it would be fun. However, I feel we would soon regret it
  11. This was by definition a strong line up for an FA cup game against a mid table league 1 side. Sara who was missing was I believe the only player who has appeared in every game so for this season. Long had a very good game and kept us in it. We had our main strikers available and defenders
  12. They made themselves heard that's for sure. However, despite our poor performance I thought the Barclay were fairly resilient generally, in their vocal support
  13. We had used our three opportunities for subs by then.
  14. I had the wireless on at the game so may have got my wires crossed a bit with it. Seems like 17 years though
  15. 17 years since the last win in the FA cup in front of a crowd at CR. Quite shocking if this is the case
  16. Yep, boredom would be my guess as well. I was too bored to take part
  17. Completely agree with you. It was really encouraging to see so many new faces. Yes I understand that we are not selling out but there does need to be some financial encouragement to get younger fans in. Considering the season we are having, we had circa 20k people there today
  18. Yes, very poorly timed comments unfortunately. Obviously out of frustration but still it would have been better to have refrained rather than attack.
  19. Ha ha, that is brilliant. Probably the most contented city fan in the ground today (the infant not you Daly)
  20. No idea, but there were plenty doing it and to be fair it brightened up a dull afternoon at that point
  21. and completely for now, sucked out of this great club. Nigh on 20 thousand supporters there for an unfashionable but potentially exciting tie against a mid table league 1 side. Starting with our main strikers, our best defender and club captain and defenders who have been involved enough this season. In fact other than Forshaw virtually every player in that starting line up had previously started games recently. It was a strong line up. The ground is full of new young supporters, probably here for the first time this season, excited at a potentially positive attacking display by city and what do we end up? An abjectly poor, lethargically mind numbing, painfully disjointed and frankly tediously boring 1-1 drab 90 minutes of uninspiring pointlessly ineffective football. Hang your heads in shame Norwich senior management. The coaching/tactics/in game management/will to win attitude/forward fast integrated play/aggression etc etc etc, is missing in action yet again. Enough is enough. Sort it out NCFC, this is simply not acceptable, otherwise I strongly suspect you will reap the whirlwind that is coming!
  22. Can't see why not. In fact he was quite integral to our play early doors and it is obvious since coming back from injury we have heavily relied on him. Give him a brief break and have him back fighting for us (in the footballing sense of course). People have short memories at times it seems.
  23. Let's be frank here. If Wagner had tried to match Southampton we would have been spanked and out of the game within 20-30 minutes. That we managed a point and not lose against what is clearly one of the best teams to come here this season is a low positive, but a positive non the less. I certainly feel we need a change of manager and coaching staff due to many reasons not least the latest poor showing at Millwall. However give the man credit for yesterday, he set us up and it worked. I'm not convinced he will cement us in the playoffs and suspect we will bounce around 7-10th for the remainder of the season, unless we remain injury free possibly.
