  1. I have to say as soon as I saw Sarge being subbed I was worried. If it wasn't a fitness issue then that is a very strange decision.

In my opinion if Sargent had stayed on the field, we would have gone on to win the game.

I was also somewhat confused by Sorenson coming on for Stacey.

These strange decisions worried me at the time, and my fears became reality.

But yes, totally agreed about Sainz – looking like a real talent, isn't he?

Everyone is talking about Rowe but somehow Saintz has gone under the radar. I love watching this guy.

Raw talent and can move with the ball. The same temperament as Buendia which is an issue.

Call it what you like. Stars aligned, freak result, but yes... you play that game 100 times, and Maidstone win once. I love that it happened, obviously, but they were camped in their own box for 89 minutes!

What would have happened if we'd had 2 shots today, and Liverpool had had 38? What would you have called that performance? We played pretty well today, battled hard and scored twice away to one of the best teams in world football. If you're drawing parallels between our performance and Maidstone's, we had a lot more of the match, and a lot more chances. It's a daft comparison in the first place, at the end of the day.

We will have to agree to disagree on this one.

You're painting up a logic that I disagree with. At times the defending was comical and I didn't see that at Maidstone.

Some of the replay's of the defending today was a Muppet show and we probably would have lost to Maidstone too.

The shining light in my opinion is saintz who shows buendia esq ability.

Maidstone had 2 shots in 90 minutes compared to 38 for Ipswich... it was just a freak result (albeit a bloody magnificent one).

So the stars aligned for Maidstone?

A freak result and the Maidstone keeper performance should be ignored?

The excellent finish with the 2nd Maidstone goal is inadmissible?

They showed great character and a resilient performance.

I hope.the Maidstone manager told his players it was a freak performance and they should return to their level.

The Norwich fan point is debatable. What is your definition of a pleb?

Why is the Norwich fan point debatable?

I withdraw the comment about you being a pleb. Pointless name calling with people on the internet is a waste of your time, and what's infinitely worse, a waste of my time.

Maybe go and watch Maidstone regularly then!

Lol. What an utterly daft thing to say.

No logic to it whatsoever. I'm a Norwich fan and I'm allowed to have an opinion without some pleb telling me to go and support Maidstone.

What amazing supporters you all are. He's not up to first team standard and probably needs a loan. To call him "truly awful", "crap" and hope you "never see him in a Norwich shirt again" is more reflecting on the sort of **** level of supporter we have at this club than anything else.

    Disgraceful.

Oh seriously **** off. Fans pay good money to watch the team play.

Good luck to him but he won't be lighting up the championship anytime soon.

We don't need this nonsense and pretending below par championship players are going to come good and that they're immune from criticism.

The person writing the cheques is the one responsible. Would you blame Farke for our financial woes? The owner decided to employ Frank and threw money at it. It didn't work.

The allegations against his Uncle Harry are a little more serious and are probably why he didn't get the England job and Spurs sacked him.

No of course I wouldn't blame Farke because we didn't spend anything while he was here.

It can't be ignored that this is the 2nd club Frank Lampard has managed in quick succession that has faced serious penalties for overspending

Harry was dubious to say the least but clubs allowed him to get involved in negotiations with agents and paid the price.

The financial problems of Everton and Derby had already happened when Frank arrived.

From what I've seen and heard he was the cause of the financial problems at Derby. He brought in some big names on a promotion push and the gamble didn't pay off.

A lot of clubs in the championship have financial woes but it only takes one cowboy to push that over the line to point deductions or total ruin.

Given you've posted more than anyone else in this "silly topic", I'm finding it hard to take your views with any credence whatsoever.

I can live with that. I have zero concern of who you pay credence to.

Do you have a serious question or is that it?

On a side note I've always considered you a bit of a **** but that's just my credence.

What a disgrace, got most of the decisions wrong! Caused confusion by making strange decisions.

Keep to your own game, take your co commentators wirh you and leave mens Football alone!

I reckon you're joking but what a silly topic the op made.

We don't need to create a gender bias or ironically congratulate women for doing something.

    This subject is embarrassing
