Could Farke have turned it around?
Mr Tea replied to The Great Mass Debater's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
If Farke had stay then people would have continued to blame him and it would have become toxic. It was only after him going people realised that “ oh nuts, it’s the players (and Webber of course) “ he should have stayed. Farke was the best manager I’ve seen for us in my near 40 years of following. -

Ed Sheeran. Music writing genius right there. 🤦♂️ -
I see your point but today I don’t care. The correct answer is to just carry on tweaking him to be more consistent but that a lot easier than making a poor player good. it’s his first full season of starting games remember

This, he has done way more than he thought he would ever. whilst it will be hard for him at least he can say I did. Instead I wish I’d could have .

'Celebrating a draw'
Mr Tea replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
It was a bit much watching the local news yesterday about getting all school kids to wear blue and how big a game it was. My nephew was at the game and said it was like a world cup final to them. We p**sed on their party which means I’ll sleep well tonight. -
Guys, we got away with it. 95% of me is chuffed to bits as the record continues but put that aside we are still a mid table team who given the last few years shouldn’t be due to ****e management. I shouldn’t really be saying that today as I’m on a high with the result but I’m also not stupid . OTBC.

I’ve yet to see anything in the last run of games that says anything apart from a tight scruffy game . draw.

Wagners post match interview on Sky
Mr Tea replied to Ken Hairy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I’m no football genius but even my poor knowledge of football showed a very disjointed team in that second half . so I waited to see what he would say and to me he looked and sounded void of ideas , thoughts and tbh looked like he knows what’s coming in the next x weeks. -

I thought he sounded ok until I read all the comment on here. -
Brentford v Spurs ko delayed due to no water!
Mr Tea replied to Greavsy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I cannot believe that with no water people have not come up with the " grounds full of sh*t " line. -
Russel Martin is morphing into Farke

I don’t see the love for RM as a manager. to me he hasn’t actually achieved anything yet. Sure you can argue he has improved teams but he hasn’t hung around in any team long enough and won anything has he ? And I still can’t get over DF being at Leeds. 😫 -
New season. new players same old Ricardo reports. Brilliant. hope the chain is oiled on the bike ready for all the trips this season and look forward , like many on here, to your write ups.

Funny but i thought the same but my son who watches all football , obs excluding the lot down the road, says how great he is to fans and has really helped some disadvantaged youngsters. Is a really decent guy it seems.

Farke to be sacked
Mr Tea replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
The one thing that would have happened had DF stayed was it would have been toxic at CR . More people would have started to blame him but by letting him go it then became clear the team wasnt up to it . It saddened me when the news come out but also felt relief for him. Much as id love to have him back i cant see it working and Webber would never let it happen anyhow . We move on. -
Dowell, Byram and McGovern leaving
Mr Tea replied to Ken Hairy's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Unfortunately it’s a much needed clear out. even when fully fit any of those mentioned didn’t set the league alight. And that wasn’t very often was it ! We need a good clear out and pretty much start again . But the worry is of course is if the recruiting team are up to it because based on the last two campaigns I would argue they are not. -
Is Idah the worst striker to ever play for Norwich?

Can Wagner make us flat track bullies?
Mr Tea replied to king canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
For us to scrap enough to go up would be, money aside, a mistake. We have a new boss and a lot of players that have been around for too long and have proved not good enough for the prem. What lest of the season should be all heading towards a better full season in the champs next season. Let him build a better team with better roots and then see what happens.
