But Its not like we have played badly with out him is it ? Sure it might have been a bit easier but in general i would say we missed Sarge way more than Rowe

Alex Griffin; Tears in his eyes
Mr Tea replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
He’s the one that put the video of Sir Tim Close scoring that goal up and the deviation in the away fans isn’t it he ? to be honest I’m going to give him a bit of credit as he will put up posts and videos that a lot of people wouldn’t , like the one mentioned as I bet it hurts like hell to get beat again. It’s not like he puts up posts only when they beat up. ( which admittedly is near pre YouTube ) -
Very sad when a player moves on and from an era when platers stuck around in clubs for longer. my thoughts are with his family.

There will always be the odd idiot in every club in every ground in most sports who does something stupid. The trick is to get them singled out , punished and make it very public that they can find you and what will happen. Sounds like the man involved is on the mend which is of course the main thing.

Sheffield United v Arsenal

I’m trying to work out if I feel sorry for Sheffield supporters or not. -
I used to dislike the drive down to Maidstone for work purposes but now ............. well now i have an affection to the place.

Pretty much they are the media darlings and how great it is that such a small club can get up and give the prem a go. Yet those same media people give us such a kicking in that we dont invest , dont give it a go and even when we win the championship the previous season we dont have the right to be in the prem. Well hang on, Luton didnt so why have they ?
-
Glad to see Luton get a kicking. I’ve wanted them down from the minute they went up.

Not when winning, no

As perhaps one of the older posters on the forum im kinda trying to get my head around what these boo boys and girls want. im guessing they think we have a legal right to boss the league like we did for a few years with DF ? God only knows what they would think if they came back in time and watched some of the crap I’ve seen over the years !!!!

It wasnt long ago many , including myself couldnt see him scoring in a brothel . What game in the prem was it that he didnt hit it hard enough to go into the open net ? Ive always liked him though as he always comes across as a very decent guy . I thought he was older than 23.

Whilst we can all enjoy todays brilliant result I think we should shy away from any personal comments / insinuations on people from photos.

Guess who's in team of the week?
Mr Tea replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Makes me think back to when we had what looked like half the team in there. 😩 -
For me we sign him on the understanding that he might play the same amount of games as he has so far . If we are happy with that then fine. If he then plays more than it’s a bonus.

Meanwhile in the premier league

Speaking g to my scouse mate this morning he reckoned he isn’t that sharp with his left and had it been on his right leg then he would have done so. He did of course say it was 100% penalty. -
Russell Martin throws some shade
Mr Tea replied to cambridgeshire canary's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
he was here for some poor performances so he has a short memory. you dropped points Russ. get over it and move on. -
I have to ask . if DF was given the boot from Leeds, and let’s be honest it will happen at some point given their history, would many on here have him back ? Sure people, say never go back but given the level and quality of other ‘available ‘ managers I do wonder about having him back. I would as I still love him !!!
-
We totally need to start again, and that unfortunately means we accept another year in the champs.
-
Everton will be fine. sure they got the points taken away but their performances got those points in the first place and they are still capable of getting more unlike some of those teams around them.
