I really don't share your faith in Webber being able to recruit the players required! The last two seasons have proven that, 4 transfer windows and now we are worse off than when he joined!

The man who should have gone to the away fans to thank them for their efforts was nowhere to be seen, as usual! Not quite sure where you get the next two games bit from, but reading what Webber said is that we now have three home games to build some momentum. Reading between the lines, as we do, I think that maybe there wil be a new man in before Friday, as how can you build momentum if you have a caretaker and then appoint someone new, during this period? I would have hoped that Webber has been spending the off time for the WC looking at the alternatives, as the writing was pretty much on the wall then. I really don't understand that we didn't sack Smith before the WC, just another poor decision by Webber imo!

Ah OK, point indeed missed. I would say that the players do get some stick, though, those boos on Tuesday weren't solely aimed at Smith and Co.

Because the players and staff are paid a bloody good wage to play football, unlike the fans who are there to be entertained, giving up their time and money to do so. To say it's OK for the players not to try because the fans aren't vociferous and have reached an indifferent attitude is ridiculous.
