I remember going to Selhurst Park in the Prem season under Alex Neil, we lost 1-0 Timm Klose got injured which for me ended our hopes of survival and I lost my bet on the Grand National. All in all a great day out at an awful stadium.

Yer was a tough call to be fair.

The point is that, also bearing in mind the quality of the other sides, it’s clearly not too late to get into the top 6 and the playoffs if action is taken.
I'm not saying that, your saying that team was probably a little stronger, I would argue it was a lot stronger. I agree its not to late but I would also argue we are not good enough for the Play-Offs and don't have the quality to compete in them. I would say a 7th-11th place finish is about par with this squad.

Is it though? Lets just compare XIs from both teams for a second:
Ruddy v Gunn
Whittaker v Stacey
Martin v Hanley
Bassong v Gibson
Olsson v Giannoulis
Tettey v McClean
Howson v Sara
Redmond v Rowe - Cannot pick between the two
Hoolahan v Barnes
Johnson v Sainz
Jerome v Sargent
Not forgetting that 14/15 team had Hooper, Dorrans, Grabban, O'Neil, Turner, Lafferty, strength in depth. Don't get me wrong this squad is underachieving but only slightly, it's more the style of play for me that is so disappointing. Wagner needs to go, his football is stinking the place out but this squad is nowhere near the Play-Off winning squad.

Almost as much salt as that lot down the road from Russ here.

The Norway match was a glorified friendly. We tried a back 4 (didn't work. Shock, horror). McLean got a rare start and Gilmour and Dykes were rested. Robertson, Hickey and Tierney are injured. That's three EPL defenders. Then there's Gunn.
It was a good match. Fair result.
Tiereny isn't an EPL defender, last time I checked Donostia-San Sebastián was in Spain.

Just because they've played in the premier league doesn't make them premier league players, that applies to plenty of our squad. Leeds have a far better squad than ours especially going forward.

Things are made worse by the fact that the lovely young lady behind me counts the f words which makes my friend (sitting on the other side of me) giggle. The swearer is totally oblivious to all of this.
All made the stranger by the fact it's in the River End.
@canarydan23 sounds like hes sitting next to you mate.

Awful at Schalke but not terrible with Huddersfield or Young Boys, looking at his Young Boys record yes its not a strong league but a win percentage of 47.5% isn't bad is it? Sacked for finishing second seems a bit harsh. He's not my personal favourite but there is a lot worse out there.

And if it had been Norwich how would you have felt then? Someone just comes in rips up the club you love and moves them 50 miles away. MK Dons are nothing but a franchise.
