  1. Bet the OP feels like a right pr1ck now?! And rightly so. Little spoilt boy "I wish all the Germans so many Germans would leave Norfolk instantly!" Lol! Captain Brexit over here... knobber
  2. Head says 8th same as last season. Heart says 5th and play offs. Plus we have a few decent players to return so you never know.
  3. I''d say out of the Prem "giants" the best draw we could have hoped for. No expectations and I bet the lads will relish the chance to pit their mettle against some famous Prem names! A great cup game and I can even walk there! ;)
  4. @BYG Whilst I appreciate his track record is a bit pocked, his recent presser seemed to suggest he''s more settled in himself. In the last few games he''s received a MOM award from some and judging on seeing him in the flesh last night I''d say rightly so. No one''s suggesting he''s fantastic, but he''s certainly proving to be a decent ally to whoever''s in that back duo screening the defence capable of performing and some at this level. Just because he didn''t perform in Germany doesn''t mean to say he won''t with us.
  5. Hi Bristol Canary, since Norwich have Bristol this weekend and they seem to have hit a little bit of form recently, I thought maybe you could do a pre-match insight into the mood over there at the moment. What are the natives saying? I know they got a little excited a few years ago after Gaz O''Neil signed for them with the plan for a promotion push, seemed a little premature at the time but what''s the insider view like?
  6. The guy is ridiculous. Played everywhere last night and when he''s in possession I feel so much more relaxed. A great find.
  7. Great game and atmosphere. One of the best I''ve been in a long time! Brentford staff were pure class too, the wait for pies wasn''t too long and I love their ground - 1st time for me. Not only that but we played well, bar their goal, keeping a high tempo throughout but retaining possession at the end when it mattered. Few nervy moments with their pen and the ball bouncing off our inside post but a fair test of the team.
  8. Stop! Can''t you both PM each other your sweet nothings?!
  9. Agreed AJ. Promising player, saw him at Cams and was excited for the season until the injury. Fingers x''d he''s back in the loop in the New Year, but it''ll take some getting up to speed. Speaking of which, any news on Louis Thompson?
  10. Both Naismith and Martin are injured AJ. So that might have an effect on formation if Pinto is to be rested.
  11. Brilliant OP. Completely agree. The man fails, learns, alters.
  12. I didn''t say you were a whiner Semi Jaded. If that''s what you view yourself as then fair enough. Tbh I always thought your posts were realistic and on the level. My main point is the message board is very quiet when Norwich win. I thought that was fairly obvious from my opening post, I just wonder why things go so quiet on here when this happens. It''s just an observation
  13. Because when it''s the same miserable glass half empty bs repeated time and again it gets boring and diplomacy about opinion gets work quite thin.
  14. Pr1ck cos it didn''t go his way. Poor baby. I hope they start to settle towards the bottom end now.
  15. I''m just saying it''s quiet. Up to you how you interpret it. For the most part I find it funny how those that decry the club shy away from the forum when Norwich win or grind it out. Odd really. Stay consistent.
  16. It''s strangely quiet on the board tonight. Any reasoning as to why?
  17. Hoggy, would you rather that or the over hyped ex-Premier League scalp of last season?! My preference has to be always flying under the radar. At least that way we keep our expectations in check given how disappointed we all were the campaign before.
  18. Definitely Hanley for this game. It''s the kind of northern brawl we''ve been expecting and he''s the man for the job hopefully.
  19. Yeah and now we''re not in the Premier League. Everything is cyclical. I''m just being realistic given our financial circumstances. Focussing on that for a second and just that, this root/branch restructure was to ensure some form of stability for the future. Albeit probably in the Championship. But take a look at it JF, the Championship isn''t the crock it once was. I do agree we''ll be one of the poorer clubs in this league but ultimately realistic expectations should be adopted but they wont be and that''s what makes the debate so interesting.
