  1. But they can''t finalise the list until the window closes, in case they sell or buy someone. They may put out a provisional list, but it may or may not be the same come the end of the window.
  2. I don''t think they allocate the squad numbers until the transfer window closes at the end of August
  3. http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/transfer-talk-show/130629/holt-ruddys-link-chelsea-and-his-own-norwich-future-200644   Doesn''t sound to me like a player who''s going to (pick one of the following.....) Celtic, Wigan, Palace, Real Madrid or anywhere.   Also spoke very sensibly about Ruddy - says he''s not surprised that other clubs are interested, but again, it didn''t sound like he thinks Ruddy is going. He did say that he picks up the paper and laughs at some of the stories, and that he feels sorry for the fans who keep reading all the cr@p (not his actual word).   Worth a listen.
  4. That flight no KLM1515 from Amsterdam is a bit over-due!!!
  5. Birchfest said "Rough estimates on how long that would take, I''d probably take the Cromer road into Norwich, but should I go through the middle or around? "   No, big mistake , mate. Go to Cromer, stay on the A149 to North Walsham and Stalham, then on to Yarmouth. Miss out Norwich (and Asda, along with Cort & Shola) altogether.
  6. Jan, if you want people to read it (once), then be like everyone else, and start a new thread on the subject.   I''d like to start a thread saying "Grant Holt to Spurs", since they''re so short of strikers, but I can''t be @rsed
  7. Bethnal, just as long as they don''t both go forward (or back) at the same time - the communication needs to be good
  8. Last two seasons he''s got in to double figures for goals, which isn''t a bad return from midfield. IF the rumour is true, would be a good signing.
  9. I think you''re all missing the point - it''s Daily Mail storey, therefore even less reliable than the rubbish on Twitter
  10. Che''s Right Hand Man said "Its impossible to make accurate prediction before the end of transfer deadline day." Che, it''s impossible even then, takes well over half a season to make an ACCURATE prediction.
  11. Tak, you may well be right, and they could afford two goalkeeping coaches, but there are a couple of other points to consider:- 1. Dave Watson may not want to be a number two to someone else 2. It''s a different manager now to the one when this first cropped up. All in all, I don''t think he''ll go, at least not to Man City
  12. Should the OP have asked "how much do Pink''un posters drink BEFORE posting on here?" Given some of the posts, I''d guess it was quite a lot.
  13. And then on top of all that, Sky (and now BT) come along and change the scheduled dates (admittedly, only by few days).
  14. According to the Sunday Times today (16 June), Pellegrini is bringing his own goal-keeping coach with him from Malaga, along with the rest of his coaching team, so looks like Dave Watson won''t be going there.
  15. Refjez said "Do you have Irish routes twitchy?" I''d recommend Tomtom for finding your way around Refjez, though sometimes asking someone with local knowledgecan help.
  16. Looks like Jacko will have no problem finding a new club. Millwall have come out openly and said they want him, but expect to face opposition from another ten or so clubs. They also said they were surprised we let him go.
  17. Big Dunc was tough, Hockey was probably harder, but I think either Graeme Souness or Tommy Smith in their Liverpool days would beat either of them
  18. What it has to do with Norwich City is that he was one of the many being "linked" with us, and my post was intended to be somewhat ironic, given the endless suggestions we''ve had on here regarding possible signings. Be patient, people.
  19. a new improved three year contract with Villa, according to the Birmingham Mail. One to cross off the speculative list, only another 250 to go!!
  20. No, APR means Annual Percentage Rate, so it doesn''t matter how many years you borrow it over, it''s what you pay each year,, that is 1000 per cent, etc.
  21. Cisse has apparently objected to wearing a shirt with the new sponsor''s name for Newcastle. He''s a practising Muslim, and objects to pay-day company Wonga. Tiote and Ben Arfur are also practising Muslims, but haven''t as yet stated whether they agree with his protest. Do Newcastle a) find a new sponsor, b) upset the sponsor by allowing Cisse to wear an unbranded shirt, or c) put him (and possibly the other two) up for sale? Answers on a postcard, please, to St James'' Park, Necastle.
  22. I hope Trappatoni pays attention to the views of Robbie Keane in the post-match interview, and Nial Quinn in the studio, if he wasn''t paying attention to what went on on the pitch. Both of them were singing Wessi''s praises, and Quinn went so far as to say he wished Wessi''s was seven years younger, and even compared him to Liam Brady.
  23. Shelvey wouldn''t give our midfield anything that bradley Johnson doesn''t already give us (his shooting is even worse than Bradley''s!). Nathan Redmond is the one for me - he can go past players, can shoot, and also isn''t too greedy and knows when to pass. Townsend (as someone has already said) was hyped up after one excellent game, but he''s got some other baggage as well.
