Martin Samuel and Curtis Woodhouse

Tell me about it. Or tell Farke actually, how he can make his players tougher, stronger and taller so that they can play both types of football. You asked how he can have a squad suitable for purpose, I suggested for you that he could change his squad buy bringing in suitable players rather than adding to his collection of attacking midfielders. His philosophy is outdated and has been proven quite clearly to not be suitable for purpose. -
This has been no ordinary season

Unless of course, you think it's ok as it is? -

If the enormous amount of goals conceded last season were considered, why wasn't *) new defenders bought instead of attacking midfielders? *) our defenders coached to be more organised and better at defending set pieces? *) our full backs told to alternate going forward rather than everyone bombing forward at once? Etc -

Or ask him why he has bought players like that and continues to? -

Because Farke has brought in players which left us with an unbalanced squad not fit for purpose. -

If you include this transfer window, Farke has brought in a load of new players, almost 50 so far! I'm blaming him for the failings, as you suggest. -

Its a manifold answer Ron. During the past couple of years I'd have signed a couple of defenders as conceding so many goals was unsustainable. I would have employed a defensive coach to work the back 6 as an organised unit to reduce the mistakes and goals conceded. During the lockdown specifically, I would employ psychological support for the players and hold regular team meetings and individual meetings with the players to mentally prepare them for the restart. Just a couple of suggestions for you, you don't have to be a tactical genius to figure it out. -
The preparation for the last few games physically and mentally for the players was not dependent on a crowd being in the stadium.
-
The atmosphere in Carrow Road since lockdown would have been volatile, Farke wouldn't still be here for a start. He's very lucky the stadium has been empty.

McLean does this alot, hospital passes, where the person being passed to is marked tightly already.

If he could manage to get himself injured next week or two, we could well be seriously interested

Your memory only serves £ rather than € 🤣

The club doesn't make numbers public so that's a guess by whoever.
-
It would possibly help if someone turned him round so he kicked the ball forwards instead of back every time. He might just be facing the wrong way....

You don't know how much he cost

Is LDC really saying that the management didn't prepare the players properly for the restart? -
We had plenty of luck last night, how Chelsea put everything high & wide is beyond me, could easily have been 6-0
-
Fail to prepare means you prepare to fail. Last season we conceded a shed load of goals and needed to address this to survive in the Premier League. We didn't deal with it so we conceded a shed load of goals and we're relegated. That's not bad luck, that's just stupidity.

All fixed

McGovern driving the coach? Interesting, that would save some £, get me Webber on the phone..
-
If there was a crowd in the ground it would have been volatile, a not very nice atmosphere, in fact Farke might well have been sacked by now. You know what it's like playing like that and losing all those games in a row.
