He came to the club before Skipp, he looked to be the natural successor to Tettey but plans were changed. Idah will have good memories of this fixture having made a big impact as sub in the cup game 2 years ago, superb penalty. It was also Drmic's best game. Come on you lobsters.

Also McLean's disallowed goal v Leicester. He caused Liverpool some problems in the league game. I'm not sure of the squad rules but Idah is only 20 so he is extra to the squad of 25. In view of the impact he can have we would be better off to postpone any loans till next season. I can understand Forest looking for a new striker, what a miss from Grabban at the weekend! Hugill is a Grant Holt type player, they don't like him at WBA but he could do a job in this league.

Gilmour was better with Normann in the team, with Rupp playing Gilmour has to be more defensive. Newcastle's goal came from Gilmour being in a place he shouldn't have been. So Sorensen instead of Rupp and we are better defensively and going forward. I'd prefer Idah to Sargent because he gets into the box and creates chances.

Plenty of effort but that doesn't make him a Prem player, not only unable to score but we don't score many while he's on the pitch. Idah is much more effective, challenging for crosses even though he's not going to reach them.
