1. I love Tettey to bits, but competition from a currently out of contract Yossuf Mulumbu might do him the world of good.
2.

Lawton can''t get in the Villa side because a Scottish RB is keeping him out, who Whittaker seems to be keeping out the Scotland side, embarrassingly I can''t remember his name, bald guy
Alan Hutton.
Used to be a decent RB for rangers and Tottenham now trouncing around in the villa defence...
3. To celebrate its birthday with the same match as the first one ever played. Even if it''s full of youngsters its a good test for us to go against prem quality for the first time in more than a year.
4. Pleasing the Leeds scum is cool now? The problem with this is that the job isn''t done with just McCormack, we need proven scorers, of which he isn''t at his level. However, some may be satisfied with just this and that is an incredibly risky gamble.
5. The only thing that link Elmander and Berbatov is the continent of Europe. The wage is a problem, with only clubs like Fulham being able to fund it. I''m glad people actually took my first post seriously though because, as mentioned before combing a number of reasons, it is very unlike to see him here next season. Gives me a lot more joy than the premise of Bobby Zamora...
6.
I like him a lot, always have. Perhaps it''s my penchant for the mavericks in the game. Highly talented with the ability to change a game in the blink of an eye. He would probably be the most technically gifted player ever to wear the yellow, if signed. His scoring record at Old Trafford was nearly one in every two games. Monaco, one in three. many gems there too, I would guess At thirty four he would be perfectly capable of a swansong, and he may even have mellowed a bit, although his work rate will likely be even less impressive. His reasons for wanting a return to the PL seem genuine and not financially motivated. He gives the impression that he would relish the chance. (Daily Mail interview.) Not an Alex Neil player, but I wouldn''t say no to some short term deal, or even a pay as you play arrangement. His name would certainly put us on the map and indicate our return to the big time. We cannot have a team composed entirely of hard working, highly committed players. We need a bit of flair, Wes and Nathan excepted. If he''s good enough for Alex Ferguson, he''s good enough for me. Bite the bullet McN, it will make a big statement. He would excite the stands, that''s for sure. I doubt he''ll appeal to Alex Neil. Failing that, is that Quagliarella chap still available?
Read my mind. Simply strickers are too boring and flair is always good to add. Plus, it''s fucking BERBATOV! If we had the option to sign him for a season and don''t think we would be granted the right to abstain. Quagliarella signed for Torino and, from what I have heard, had a decent-ish season and is likely to stay. Maybe France would be a better place to look than Italy though.
7. I understand your point, but not many of fulhams squad having sustained a Manchester United team place. If that''s a problem though, leave him out. Don''t need any non-determined players.
8. Okay, okay, before you blast me, I know this is unrealistic but he is on a free transfer, has said he would like a return to England and did play for an at best mid table Fulham side. Certainly proven.
9. Pure red? We''ve been dipping in and out of away colours the past few seasons but I''m not sure about that one...
10. This is simply my opinion, but I think that we need to crack down on two main areas. 1. A long term Hoolahan replacement. Wes has been our talisman for years, but is getting old and will tire easier with every game. This may be a young player, a converted winger and someone already proven but we should try at least for a new AM (Redmond isn''t exactly reliable is he...) 2. Defenders. There has been poor areas throughout the defence this season but on the whole the four playing have been solid. That was the Championship. We need good defenders, possibly imports, to help us stay up. Maybe a striker too, but of that I''m not sure who to go with.
11. Eh, personally, and I''ve been saying this for a while, the team is both pretty much equal ability wise and almost premier league quality already. The squad is strong too. So the obvious thing to do is buy already tested premier league players who can strengthen certain positions, and the obvious place to look is the relegated clubs. Players like Larrson would be fantastic, but probably wouldn''t be drawn (as they don''t know the complete superiority of this club over everything and everyone). We don''t need aging players like Zamora either. So who?
12. Not trying to start any rumours but what about Elmohammdy from Hull? Can play RB or in midfield. Phillips would be good but unrealistic as other clubs would be interested.
