  1. Left home at 9.15 to get to Carrow Road - didn''t intend to but just had to be there. Stood on my own in the City Stand (not exactly on my own but you know what I mean) singing "we are premier league" and suddenly got this big lump in my throat and tear in my eye. Haven''t done that since we beat Stockport to get into play offs. My wife is seriously worried about me and my father in law coz he said he felt the same at home!!!!
  2. I like the Let it Be one - the agadoo one is so bad it''s almost good! Totally agree that we should sing something else. I have spread the word on both of them via email so lets hope we get it going on Friday!!!!! Come on you yellas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  3. I got invited to ipswich yesterday and was staggered by how bad their support is. There they are playing a must win game if their play off chances are to be sustained and the crowd were quiet as churchmice. I know that it is not all about the noise the supporters make but I think that our support has helped the team to some results which might not have been achieved without it (EG Derby, Reading, Sheff Utd, Ipswich). When you hear the support at Carrow Road it makes you proud to be a Canary and listening to the whinging bin men made me realise, if ever I needed reminding, how good our supporters are.
  4. I agree he was a mile offisde. Shame they didn''t have the same lino that dissallowed two of our goals on Saturday which were clearly onside. However, I was there (not hoping for an Ipswich win but more for a Baggies defeat - I still can''t bring myself to want Ipswich to win ever!) and the binmen have only got themselves to blame for losing. For the last ten minutes they were only playing with 2 at the back and 4 in front of them. On two or three occassions they had Horsfield, Hughes and Koumas running at the back two and it seemed only a matter of time before they conceded again. Abject poor defending which is the reason why they have not been able to sustain any kind of a challenge. That and, of course, poor refereeing decisions the whole season through. After all, according to Fab and BFJ they are the best team in the division!!!!!!
  5. As the yellow side of Nick the hammers family (I tried to convince him otherwhise but he still supports West Ham!) it would be intersting to know how many of our present contributors have been to as many Norwich games as Nick! On the subject of where you sit I would sit in any part of most teams grounds to support Norwich (possibly with the exception of Millwall and Ipswich!). If you want to see the game and are a true fan then it matters not where you sit but that you support your team. I well remember watching the semi-final of Euro 96 in with the Germans with many other England fans. I got my ticket (through my brother before he pipes up) from a German. There weren''t many Germans complaining about the English at the time as I seem to remember they were getting a lot of money for their surplus tickets. As for season tickets, I endorse what Nick says. Like him with West Ham I have supported Norwich through thick and thin. I have been to nearly every home game for more than 30 years and am continuing the tradition with my two boys having season tickets also. There are those that just want to see the so called big games and the rest of us that are there all the time. Jem
