I'm sure Webber has always talked about succession planning and having lists of potential replacements for players, managers, even his own position. It just seems too convenient to sack Farke and then an ideal candidate becomes available I'm also concerned he has just been sacked and has had no time to recharge his batteries or get his head straight But this appointment is defining for webber -
A number of candidates now

SexyBennett Has Spoken
glory.win or die. replied to Move Klose's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I can't say I pay much attention to what sexy Bennett says. As far as I have seen they just comment on things that already rumours on other sites, and are no more reliable than a fortune teller. They are so 'in the know' that they can tell us stuff about manager targets and possible issues which have already been mention on numerous other sites... Yet, they had no prior info about Farke being sacked -

If it's a British manager I think Lampard would be my choice, and I think we would be a perfect fit for him But I'm sure Webber has a list of potentials we have never heard of. -

Respected by players Used to working with younger players Made Leeds fans and players cry I thought he did well at Derby and Chelsea were under transfer restrictions when he took over but did well. But, I'd hope we can find someone with slightly more experience and history of success -

Think i read he played some cup games as a wing back.. I quite liked Martin and thought he would replace Cantwell but needs a better season than he's having so far -

Realistically who could do a worse Job? -
I see lots of ppl moaning about spending £5m on a back up keeper but last season ppl moaned because we had to rely on mcgovern, we couldn't risk that again. £5M for a back up prem gk to push krul seems good value to me. Krul is good enough to play in the prem, pukki is good enough to score goals. The problem is the 9 players between them

Bruce got Newcastle 1 more point than us with a vastly superior experienced team. He's definitely not the answer. -
He could have had 6 yellow cards against us to be fair

I thought he did well too but krul punching vydja in the face looked a pen to me
