  1. I don''t even know where to start on this one. Bored much, LDC?
  2. We should definitely be looking to add him to our squad.
  3. LDC will defend Hughton until the day he dies. Some people just hate being proved wrong.
  4. Thank f uck it fell through. An unknown 30 year old with a poor record coming to a new country. No thanks.
  5. WHY HINT WE SIGNED ANYONE YET???????????
  6. Unfortunately recent discussions about women''s football have shown some regular posters as very sexist.
  7. Paul Lambert bought him and regularly played him. Chris Hughton played him regularly. Neil Adams made him captain and played him regularly. Alex Neil kept him as captain and played him regularly. Scotland manager Gordon Strachan also plays him regularly. Incidentally Scotland are performing really well and look set to qualify for Euro 2016. But yeah, you''re right. They must all be wrong. Definitely not good enough.
  8. A captain doesn''t need to be bawling his head off to be an effective one. Natural leaders will do as such whether or not they''re wearing the armband. David Beckham was an excellent England captain and he was never the most vocal of players.
  9. Russell Martin is our current captain. He''s a good leader and excellent ambassador for our club and very much a Norwich City man. Alex Neil has kept him as skipper in the 6 months he''s been here. Why on earth would we need to change captains?!
  10. RvW is ever only going to be effective if you''re spoon-feeding him chances. He hasn''t the physique or attributes to create anything for himself. Just not suited for the English game you feel.
  11. Kaboul''s injury prone, error prone and has a dodgy knee.
  12. I thought this thread was about the new kit? Personally I don''t like it. As others have said, a potentially brilliant kit ruined by the Aviva square. Hopefully the away shirt will be a better and I might get that. The famous 92/94 shirt is definitely on my shopping list though.
  13. I''ve said this on other threads, but RvW has no future at Norwich City. No way he''s going to get in ahead of Jerome and Grabban, and potentially a new striker. Fourth choice, when we play one up front, and this without taking into account Gary Hooper. Where exactly is RvW going to fit in?
  14. The more I see it, the more amazed I am at how incredibly bad it is.
  15. I won''t be buying it. The shirt is very nice apart from the sponsor box. It would have been awesome if that side had been totally green. Almost farcical the way it looks though. Instead I shall buy the away kit if that''s any good, and will definitely get the 92/94 shirt, that one''s beautiful.
  16. Can only assume Bor is joking there. Dyer is a decent little player, I''d take him.
  17. He''d brought another negative publicity with his bizarre behaviour last season, even before the sex tape incident. His sacking is probably more the club trying to avoid a bad reputation more than anything. He can''t be the easiest man to get on with if his interviews are anything to go by.
  18. I''d be pleased with Murray. He''s got a presence and chipped in with quite a few important goals for Palace last season. Pardew obviously saw something in him after falling out of favour with the previous manager.
  19. It''s very likely we''ll play one up front for the majority of the season. This is very unlikely to be RvW, from the start of the season, at least. So this means he''d have to make an imoact from the bench. If we keep Hooper, and we needed a goal, you''d put him on instead of RvW every time. If you needed someone to hold it up, RvW just isn''t the man. Also, if both Jerome and Grabban stay, which you''d hope, one of these are likely to be on the bench. Again, personally I think these two are better options than RvW. This is of course ignoring the fact we may yet bring another striker in, plus we also have Lafferty as things stand. I just can''t see where van Wolfswinkel is going to fit in unfortunately.
  20. Overrated mercenary. Didn''t look particularly bothered about us getting relegated and certainly didn''t looked too concerned when QPR were struggling either. Brilliant player when he feels like it but not an Alex Neil sort of mentality and not a character we particularly need around the dressing room.
